    Does your father know that he struck your mother? Someone needs to step in and take care of this, and there is no better person than your father. You can't just ignore it. At least he was devastated at his own violent outburst, though. That shows that he isn't really trying to be malicious, he just has a temper problem that needs to be curbed, and he'll need help to do so. Something like a school counselor might do him wonders. Also, it isn't "video games are making him violent!!!!11111". Don't use them as a scapegoat. It's your brother's attitude and perception that cause these things, not some inanimate electronics.

    I really don't know where Awe mentioned "Hey guys I'm making this team for OU so go by smogon logic please", but if someone could point that out to me that would be splendid. All I read was that he was making this team to compete with his friends, where the only stated rules have been no legends. Don't instantly assume "competitive" means "OU", people. Is that so hard?

    A lot of you are probably thinking, "Type Wild? What is that?". Well, to answer your question, I'm not talking about the song from the anime... I'm talking about a fan-made 2d fighter set in the Pokémon universe. Why did some of you just cringe? Oh, I said "fan-made". Right. Well, to ease your concerns, this was made by one of the animators/clean-up artists of the Pokémon anime. This thing has quality. Still not convinced? http://www.pokesho.com/battle You won't find the download link on there - for some reason, she takes the self-extracting exe down after a short period of time. You can probably find it by google'ing around enough, though. Beta 4.3 was released a little while ago, and since then I've been playing off and on. The graphics are downright beautiful, and it's extremely detailed right down to the backgrounds. It's still somewhat small of a game, but it's quite the amusing distraction. Take a look sometime. For those of you that have played (or will play) this game, does anyone else have a hard time playing as Gengar, or am I just inept at technical characters? It feels like his counter-attack is slightly too hard to pull off, and I end up just messing myself up whenever I try.

    I have to play devil's advocate here and ask, since I was one of the few who didn't see a point in the Creative Badge to begin with - who exactly decides whether or not a person's artwork is "good enough" for that rank? To me it just seems like a bad drama waiting to happen.

    I like the idea of a RBY mechanic tourney, though you know it would be horribly broken and abusive. =p Oh, if this "Varna street" exists, I totally need to see it someday.

    Well, for one, your team hates one of it's own gimmicks: sleep. A Yanmega, with a little luck, will likely run right through you with Hypnosis. And while Mind Reader -> Sheer Cold is cool, it's a two turn set up... in which something like Deoxys or a similarly fast sweeper will destroy you. I probably haven't scratched the surface, but there you go. It looks like an interesting team to try nonetheless.

    I love the "I hate vista" bandwagon. It makes it really easy to tell who knows what they're talking about and who doesn't. I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and have had very little trouble with it over the year and a half I've had it. Once you turn off User Account Control, everything is fine. As far as compatibility issues go, I've only ever had problems with very old software (think Diablo 2, Starcraft, etc) and even that can be overcome by simply updating. =| The one complaint I do have about this OS is that it constantly eats 2gb of my RAM, though I think that is a property of x64 based systems and not just Vista. Anyway, if you're happy with XP and you aren't running into any issues, why bother changing?

    I don't really see how this is necessary... and it'd open up the possibility for more frivolous "badges" down the line. I really don't want to see the day where everyone has 3+ and some people have 24, and nobody even cares what they mean anymore because there are too many.

    Flaming other sites? Do some people really have that much free time and so little to do? =\ +1 to supporting this rule, though it's sad that it's even needed.

    Suggestion: Put the block of text that comprises the battle in a spoiler tag. That kind of format has worked excellent as far as I've seen. If you had only put "My psychohaxxor power knows no limits!" as the topic title, you would have won a free internets.

    Ah, the whole "the general fandom around <subject> sucks, so I hate <subject>". I can understand. That kind of thing spoiled Guitar Hero/Rockband type games for me, although in a different way than terrible drawings and fanfiction as you can imagine. =p As far as my own least favorite... uh, I'm not sure. I dislike a number of them, though I can't recall any specific one that I loathe. Whether that's because I don't loathe any or because my mind blocks me from remembering for my own sanity, well, that's anyone's guess.

    Well, to be perfectly honest, I didn't like the region too much. Water has always been annoying, at least to me, due to slower-than-bike travel and constant random encounters. =| Though, 3rd gen introduced two of my top favorite Pokemon, so that's more what I pay attention to when I think about it.
