    In DeSmuMe, Use File > Export Backup Memory. Load that file in Pokegen. After saving, use File > Import Backup Memory in the emulator.

    0.30 doesn't seem to work for me. Try the version just before that, supporting backup with an EZ Flash 3in1.

    I'm sorry to say, but you need some kind of 3rd party device if you odn't want to use the GTS hack. If you don't get a USB backup device (described at the bottom of this post: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16601-How-to-Backup-Restore-your-retail-cartridge-save-file-(D-P-Pt-HG-SS-B-W-Nearly-any-other-DS-game)), or an Action Replay (unless you use a 3DS, then it won't work), then this will not even be possible. If you get a USB backup device (I have the NDS Backup Adapter, but the SMS4 is also a good choice), then you will want to find the liberty pass PGF, and use the Mystery Gift Editor to add it. If you get an Action Replay, use the Mystery Gift Editor to create an Action Replay code. If you need more help, let me know!

    1. (Although I don't have the game,) I would imagine it uses local wireless to transfer from the DS. No wifi needed. 2. Even if you did need Wifi, there's gaming accesories that allow you to make a compatible wifi spot given that you have good internet: http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/WiFi--MAX__EF000925.aspx

    IR-GTS and other GTS hacks transfer into the PC, so GTS hacks won't give you the effect you want. If a party pokemon ever goes into the PC, its stats are lost. Only the base stats remain.

    I don't actually own the game, but I thought that you can transfer Pokemon caught on Diamond/Pearl over for use in colluseum mode with little hassle. So, as long as all of your pokemon are legal, couldn't you just do this yourself? How would having someone else do this actually benefit you?

    Ignoring that assumption, if you travel directly into the future from there, you will (probably) find an alternate version of yourself (unless you died), because you do not belong in that universe. That defeats the purpose of time travel in order to change something.

    Currently the program can check for updates on startup. My suggestion is that in addition to that, there be a menu option that checks for an update without requiring one to close and restart the program. Yes, I know that it is very easy to just restart the program, so this suggestion isn't that important, but just something that you could add if you feel like doing so.

    Try the version that was released just before that one. I experienced a problem with the latest one a while ago, but probably because I set it up to quickly.
