    Sorry for taking so long. I uploaded the file marked as not working to my retail cartridge (Pokemon Soul Silver [uS]) and it loads just fine. It may be your flashcart? Maybe you could try loading your save file in an emulator after each edit and compare it to how your flashcart works?

    Perhaps you could upload a save file that your game rejects, and we can take a look at it.

    Since you are using Wood R4, that makes the flashcart less likely to be the problem. What kind of edit did you make?

    Well, you have to have a save file to save to save a save file. Clear as mud? However, you might be able to save a pkm file made from scratch.

    Not with your current hardware. I recommend the NDS Backup Adapter Plus, and you can also try the SMS4, both mentioned in the main post.

    A while ago codemonkey85 wrote a code library for reading save files. I can't get it to read full saves, but I could get it to read pkm files. Perhaps with a little work you can get it to read 5th Gen pkm files. Go to the Save R&D forum and search for PKMDS Code Library. Sent on my Windows Phone.

    Are you sure that SmallFTP has read and write access to "[noparse]C:\savegame_manager[/noparse]"?

    Try to see if your clone supports Wood R4.

    What kernal are you using on the R4? If it is the original (v1.18), then that is why.

    Only if you have valid Wifi. It will never be updated to use the slot unless Pokedoc uses a code library that is never going to be released, or unless he is just that brilliant.
