  1. Try this: 1. Copy the appropriate file into the same folder as the program. 2. While holding shift, right click next to the program (make sure you're right-clicking the folder while inside of it). 3. Select "open command window here". 4. Type ppmd_statutil.exe "myfile.ext" (replacing myfile.ext with your file) 5. You should be presented with a message of success, or an error message (which can be used to investigate further).
  2. It's a command line tool, so drag an appropriate file onto the program.
  3. Have you determined the specific text encoding for the text_e.str? I thought it was shift jis, but a few characters don't re-encode right when I use it, like the arrows when shifting a move up or down.
  4. For the time being, you can only replace tracks with other songs of the same format (meaning other smd/swav files from PMD2, or one of the few other games that use this format).
  5. Try looking at this guide to ROM decryption: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/wiki/Decryption Note that if you are on a firmware above 9.2 on your 3DS, you will be unable to decrypt it, or even use it (which requires a Gateway flashcart).
  6. Unless you have need for the eShop, don't update your 3DS. Hackers are always looking for exploits, and Nintendo always tries to patch them before they're developed, so staying on your current system version is best if you want to use exploits.
  7. Looks like there may be other exploits, but for the time being none of them have been documented or developed.
  8. The exploit was already patched; the only way to get code running would be to find a new exploit.
  9. Only if you have a Japanese game and console, or a Gateway flashcart, which requires firmware 9.2 or below.
  10. Just because the browser crashes doesn't mean it's an exploit.
  11. A little too high for emuNAND, unfortunately. Until you update you can use RAM2Sav, but when you do you will no longer be able to.
  12. Your MicroSD should be formatted to FAT32, I don't think the blue card reads exFat (although the red card does).
  13. What size and file system format is your micro sd?
  14. Unfortunately, injection cannot be done on the latest firmware for the time being.
  15. You should look at rxTools, which looks like it can boot into emuNAND as long as the system firmware is 9.2. There's also MT Card's emuNAND, but I think that needs firmware 4.X, which may require a downgrade (which is a little dangerous). Setting up emuNAND with either, and updating emuNAND should let you still use the eShop and the browser exploits, just make sure it's the emuNAND being updated (only done through system settings, ensuring the proper prefix in front of the system version, GW3D, MT, or RX-E.)

  18. What specific version are you at? If you're on 9.2, you can set up EmuNAND so you can have the eShop and the browser exploit.
  19. Each cartridge has its own encryption. The save1keystream.bin lets you decrypt saves from only a particular cartridge. You'll need another one for another cartridge.
  20. 1. The 3DS Action Replays are really just Action Replay DSi's that work on 3DS's, and they'll work fine with Pokémon games. 2. Unless you can find an Action Replay DSi with a MicroSD slot (allowing you to backup and restore the saves of your games), the 3DS compatible Action Replay DSi is your best choice. Do note that the one with the MicroSD slot won't work on the 3DS because they stopped making them a long time ago.

  22. If your 3DS version is 9.2 or below, you can use the Gateway exploit to dump the Roms (if you haven't already), and rxTools to decrypt them.http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-rxtools-roxas75-3ds-toolkit-fw-2-0-9-2.382782/
  23. It doesn't crash at all? What kind of 3DS are you using, and what firmware is it on? Note that if you're using 9.5.0-23, it won't work.
