  1. The OP already resolved it by using updated versions. Locking thread.
  2. No. do a search, there's a few tools in our Downloads > ROM editing section @javier_himura and @Andibad, if you're back, PM me, thanks. Or anyone has the executable file, PM me too. Locking thread now. For any future readers, all the links (besides the one I gave) in this thread are dead. Don't bother trying the other links, nor asking for them. Edit: anyhow, working copy of ANDT here.
  3. You meant private message (PM)? @javier_himura and @Andibad has not been online in 2020. I've already tagged both of them, so both accounts will get notifications, though it doesn't matter if either doesn't come online. Let's wait patiently, whether it's a user that contributes the file or either account replies us.
  4. I think the devs for the plugin need to update their code, you need to take it up with them
  5. If @Andibad PMs me, I will unlock this thread. Until @Andibad comes back and renews the links, we can't do anything. If anyone has the files, they can PM me. In the mean time, check out https://projectpokemon.org/home/files/category/54-rom-editing/ Cheers. edit, also I found this on Github. @javier_himura are you the same as @Andibad ? It is odd to see that same project appearing on another github. edit again: we have the tool uploaded after all
  6. I would rather you use PKHeX. None of those would really make it easier for you anyway.
  7. for VC -> Gen 7, they're random. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Poké_Transporter Scroll down to see changes done to Gen 1 and 2 mons. You could just emulate that for your changes. what online pokegen thing?
  8. VC games can transfer to Bank (Gen 7), and HOME allows it to go into Gen 8, so that's what you've seen As for your request, I don't think PKX delta is working for me right now. Why don't you just manually recreate the data in your Gen 5 save?
  9. Maybe it was some other program? I don't really know : x
  10. don't think so? Think of it this way: Imagine dragging a mon to your Desktop, would create a pk file. (and it still exists in your save) Then, dragging in the pk file would set it to your box. (meaning you're cloning it) The whole dragging from window to window basically skips the create a pk file process, but I believe it acts the way as I mentioned above.
  11. Yeah, open 2 windows, drag mons from one window into the other, and it doesn't delete the mon from the source window. Alternatively, on first window dump all mons to folder, then in second window, load mons from folder.
  12. Do not ask for ROMs, as anyone linked you ROMs (or directing you to it, thus enabling piracy) is not allowed by our site rules. Given that we have answered your main question, thread locked.
  13. So you want a fully legitimate route from Cartridge Gen 2 -> Gen 5? Not possible. Retail carts Gen 1 and 2 cannot be transferred on to further generations. What you're asking for, in terms of injecting the save into a VC game, goes against the entire "legitimate route" shtick. Even if you inject the save into a VC game, VC Gen 1 and 2 can only go to Gen 7 (at least), so once again what you're asking for, via legitimate means, it not possible. As mentioned, Even if we ignore the illegality of transferring a retail cart save into a VC game, there is no legitimate route for VC mons to exist in Gen 5. If you want a mon from Gen 2 to be transferred into Gen 5, that is sadly what you have to do. You're gonna need some tool like this in order to achieve G2 - > G5 (well at least G2 -> G3 then PKHeX it into G5), if you decided to throw away the "legitimate route" idea.
  14. did you save in-game? PKHeX open save files, not save states. For example, DSV works but DST doesn't.
  15. have you tried renaming it to sav.dat? It loads in PKHeX: To load on VC, you may need to convert the save.
  16. You can only export a save, if you first loaded a save. Use the File > Open in menu, or just mouse click and drag a save into the window, your choice.
  17. @doctorC3 I don't know what you did but this is not a save file. This "message" goes on to the end of the file. Safe to say, there's no "remnant save data" to be found, due to the phenomenon I mentioned above.

  19. you did not load a save in PKHeX, did you?
  20. @valixide why don't you open up the link and check what is listed?
  21. looks like you need to delete the update file from the cache on your Switch. maybe this from gbatemp helps: All at your own risk, of course
  22. As in the save? I do not think there's any changes in the save beyond V1.0.0 to V1.1.0 Why don't try try starting up the game in V1.1.0 and see if that works?
  23. I tried what was said above, except done via an emulator, no corruption. OP, can you: 1) specify how you transfer back to Switch (FTP? SD in computer?) 2) Show us a screenshot of the folder containing your save? (place the screenshot inside a spoiler in the post, before you post it)
