  1. This reply to you literally tells you how:
  2. Nothing to do with whether it is an event mon or not. While distributed with some moves, SWSH presently has cut out around half the moves in existence. As such, any mon transferred into SWSH (and that can be done legally) with such a move is unable to use that move. Hence your mon isn't illegal, but has a warning that the move does not exist in SWSH.
  3. What I said is just a disclaimer. After all, you did express intent for using it online (trades being the prime issue here), so I figured I should mention it, not just for your benefit, but also future readers. And now you know, bad hacks are a problem. :3 The server hack check sucks, so who knows why it blocks it. For starters, try making it as unvanilla as possible (remove PKRuS, make unshiny etc), see if that helps.
  4. The error explains the issues to you. Maybe I shall attempt to rephrase it: For a transferred Pokémon, it is unlikely that the OT details of said transferred mon, be the same as the OT details of the save it is in.
  5. are you playing only an emulator or something. that sounds kinda weird. Are you playing Sword or Shield? probably needs to copy event flags from someone with the same game, that probably has it unlocked..
  6. can you upload the save?
  7. How about don't do that.
  8. For future reference, if you have a question, try to make it as short and concise as possible, and split up the parts into separate paragraphs, as possible. (like label the paragraph, then elaborate the point etc) It's very hard to read a wall of text.
  9. You're on a Pokémon forum. When the forum header says "ROM - Switch Research and Development", there's an implied notion it's for Pokémon games, because this is a Pokémon forum. This is off-topic, so moving it to off-topic.
  10. I have Wifi settings on both Switches, so I never checked, but I do have my WiFi on Switches on. I know that on y-comm I don't need to be connected to internet. (same user profile, so only one Switch can connect at a time)
  11. It is kinda of odd that for you, having CFW affects local trades. who knows why that occurs.
  12. Unless you installed crap via the CFW, there's no reason for CFW to be causing the issue. Like I said, I am able to use my CFW Switch to communicate with my non-CFW Switch. As far as I can tell, I did not install crap on it. (I pretty much only use CFW for save managers at this point) Well if it works for you, then it works. You have a unique problem that it doesn't appear anyone else has, so doubt we'll be able to solve it or give suggestions about it.
  13. I've yet to find the time to play through the 100 battles on Colo JP myself. If any of our team do do it, they'll share the results.
  14. What you can naturally get/receive/learn in game. Bolt Strike cannot be learned by Vulpix, of course you can't use that genned mon online -.- In this scenario, you are the problem Making your mon have illegal moves are the problem. Having impossible ribbons are the problem. Using bad hacks are the problem. Additionally, using significantly hacked Pokémon against unsuspecting players are against our rules.
  15. I'm not implying, I'm outright saying that could be done. :3 I transfer saves between the same user a few times, and transferred user profiles before, and shared user profiles before. Note that both Switches have be physically near each other. I'm unsure if they connect online to verify the transfer process, but given that I bring my CFW Switch online, I've never really checked (my internet settings are saved on that Switch) My non-hacked Switch uses a user profile created on my CFW Switch, and they both share the same user, meaning I only have to pay for online once. Downside is.. only one device can go online at a time. But upside is.. they both connect to the same HOME account. They also share the Sword DLC, which I paid for once.
  16. Except you can. I can trade in Airplane mode. There is an option to enable WiFi switch while in Airplane mode. One can turn on NFC in Airplane mode as well. Additionally, if the Airplane mode was fully on (no WiFi), Y-comm would not open and you won't be able to select trades at the first place.
  17. To an extent they probably are, even if there is no precedent to them doing so. For example, it would be unlikely that you have the Bonus clothes, but don't have the wonder card received (in terms of album and received ID). There is no history to them implementing such a check, but they could always change that. Who knows really?
  18. So far, ban risk is for having CFW, not for playing with modified saves. It's just that modified saves are a way to show them that you have a CFW'd Switch. Unless done incorrectly, block injections don't traces of modifications. (Unless they happen to be doing a before and after comparison to your save, and your injections is something ridiculous. But that would require them to store both copies of the save on the server at the first place. Who knows really)
  19. If you were willing to risk your CFW Switch, get the CFW and non-CFW Switch to share the same user profile. HOME is tied to your Nintendo account, so HOME will work on either device, and connect to the same HOME account. This way, you can transfer mons from inside the save from one device to another, via HOME. Definitely riskier than simply doing local trades, but definitely faster too.
  20. for starters, what is in the folder? doesn't look like a save.
  21. that sounds confusing. What game are you trying to back up? Checkpoint on CFW Switch will not affect your non-CFW device. It does not magically travel to the other Switch. I don't get what you're trying to do.
  22. erm, Aerodactyl isn't a mon in SWSH right? You were having issues with genned mons not being allowed when transferred to SWSH right? I need the exact mon you were having issues with. Also, if PKHeX can't open the saves, that means what you're dealing is isn't a decrypted save.
  23. thanks.
  24. try checking your Switch settings and stuff. Unless you bought a defective unit, no reason for it to be unable to trade locally. You use 90DNS right? Try to go online or something. Try creating a new user profile on the unhacked Switch. It would have an option to Import Existing User (or something). Use that to receive the user from the hacked Switch to the unhacked Switch. That process should carry over the save as well. Make sure you back up the save on the hacked Switch onto your computer, before you continue. Tho, given that requires local communication, so you gotta make sure your CFW Switch local communication isn't broken.
