Excuse me for butting in, but i see that you are annoyed by those people who switch out their pokemon and wastes a lot of time choosing which of there pokemon counters yours. I have some experiences with that and even though it's just a wireless battle it's still annoying. But when that happens you just have to utilize moves that will inflict damage while they switch. Stealth rock is one and can be used by naturally useful pokemon such as tyranitar and swampert or an uber if you prefer. Or you can make them sleep and do some damage to them like when i use darkrai w/ dark void, pursuit, dream eater and dark pulse. Because most of the time people(humans) will likely switch out a sleep, paralyzed, frozen pokemon etc. out of battle. Unless they have the berry that will counter the effects. Though my ubers are just for fun and total annihilation battles(hey that's not very nice) but mainly for fun. So if you don't like the ubers it's just fine. -stealth rock is nice- Aside from inflicting damage to them. Amnesia is one that is used to boost sp def. or iron defense for def. Though i myself don't do it much as i prefer to kill instantly. Coz' for me- "best defense=speedy killing strategy". But sometimes it's bad to be offensive all the time as there are moves like mirror coat, counter and me first. And again about the switching out thing. I just thought of it. U-turn move that can be used by scizor and others. Well it's if you want to hit and run.

Oh yeah! My bad. I was thinking about the 3rd generation when Scizor hasn't been endowed with good bug moves and tech ability.

I think even if you don't use swords dance it may still have devastating effect because of the good combo between bullet punch and technician ability but your scizor's really good. And just my suggestion/opinion, as scizor doesn't have problem with ghosts, maybe it will be better if you replace bug bite with hidden power, coz' one time i made my mewtwo and scizor do a one on one and it almost killed my mewtwo(legal). But since it's for type coverage as you said, it's still good.

Maybe it's about time for the to make stronger DARK/GHOST type. And make an item like a jewel of life for dear Arceus.

As for me, i don't really like the idea of both. I'm quite happy just playing the games in PS2 and PS3 so for me buying a PSP is just another of those vanities. DSi XL is just outrageous. Nintendo should have just thought of making it instead of making DSi first. Or make the cameras to be at the very least be 2.0 mp.

A picture of the mysterious 5th generation pokemon has been revealed as well as its pre-evolution in a site and turns out to be a dark type pokemon. Though they claim it may be a fake. But i sure hope it is not. Because i was hoping it's not a Lucario evolution. And at the first sight of the silhouette i was thinking it may be a ninetales evolution because it kinda looks like a character in digimon(not a fan of it so i don't know).

Wow that would be nice if an old game will still work after so long. All of my recent games are long gone because all the cartridges lost its life and can't save anymore.

Well well well, this what you call marketing strategy.Of course they are confident that people will hate to be left behind. A new game (such as the 5th gen pkmn game) is just another excuse for them to sell a new diamond studded handheld. Like in the case of GBA, we have no choice but to buy because GBA games can't be used in Gameboy color & pocket. And we ended up buying the no backlight GBA then came the GBA SP(lucky them) as if they haven't thought of putting a stupid light in the GBA. Then came the most succesful of them yet, the DS franchise; DS are in stores: *suckers*- wow it's the brand new nintendo DS and has a touch screen! COOL! DS lite are in stores: *suckers*- wow it's the DS lite! Hey why are you still holding that dinosaur DS?! Get a life! DSi are in stores: *suckers*- wow it's the brand new DSi! And it even has cameras and it really is useful while i play! Wow i took a picture of my self and i can make myself look like an idiot. Hey look look guys, there's a fool still using the DS lite. Let's take a picture of him using DSi cameras and make fun of him. After 3 mins; DSi XL are in stores: *suckers*- wow it's the brand new DSi XL! Dialga and Latios= epic battle I voted for Deoxys. The reason was already posted by others so please review other posts too. Though it's a bit sad too say goodbye to Ho-oh and Lugia while HG/SS are still there. But still it's time to move on. Go Deoxys!

This has bothered me every time i remember but, it's about the food that they eat...what is it made of? Because for me, it can't be a pokemon(how about the slowpoke tail story), because in pkmn world it is like a violation too eat pokemon(the slowpoke tail). Or some of them are just not edible like magikarp(from an episode which team rocket once again bought a magikarp and planned to eat it but they can't as it is full of scales through the inside..i hope i remembered it well). So if they are unable(maybe forbidden too) to eat pokemon, what do they really eat(aside from fruits and vegetables)? What could it be made of?

well i posted it in some threads just to share because it's a bit relevant to it. and the shaymin part.....well it's not that i don't know that shaymin isn't really in the darkrai movie, i said that it's one of my fave in the 4th generation. shaymin(because it's cool, cute and fairly strong for a grass type which i don't usually use.

well sorry about that. but i think the HGSS fact when the first pokemon in your party follow you around isn't all that useless. but then if have to suggest something to him a bit useful if he wants to do something with his GBA games again, then i suggest that next time he does that, he should do what i did to avoid sudden running out of the battery. i have it working directly using an adaptor(when i used the no light GBA). it's not really that risky(works for me). and don't risk the game when low in battery as the gameboy's life indicates.

Hmm... i'm not sure if we're talking singular or plural since pokemon is either. well enough of chit chat. no particular favorite order; darkrai, palkia, arceus, lugia, ho-oh, suicune, mew, mewtwo, articuno, deoxys, and groudon(it kinda looks like a lego)

I hope this one gets posted: I really think you should also have included other disappointing pokemon like; Celebi- time travelling freak that doesn't show any time related moves in the game. fairly weak for its class because of it's type. and is completely countered by houndoom(anyone noticed) Jirachi- the stuff toy made of steel(hazardous to children) fairly weak for its class because of it's type. its doom desire nearly did not do anything to my articuno(legal FR version) completely countered by houndoom. Phione- i can't remember if the anime classified this as legendary because as we know it is from manaphy's breeding. if it is legendary(i think so because of the fact) it is the weakest of them all. it's just cute. Manaphy- the prince of the see that isn't any better than phione. in my opinion, even if one uses heart swap when stat change happens won't be any help for the poor thing. Smeargle- (actually while typing this, i remembered my game in GSC and FireRed) if there is anything more useless than magikarp and feebas using splash is this artistic freak.believe me, if i haven't checked and knew about smeargle's moves, i won't have the idea that it has just one....Sketch(it copies the foe's last move if you remember). even if its opponent launches a really strong move or any annoying move, it simply wont last even if it has a fairly decent speed stat.i doubt that any gamers here have been hurt by smeargle unless intentionally. so as of now, these are just what i could share. if i have studied the other disappointing pokemon well enough, i will have to post something like this again(well not like wraith89s)...i just like to share the one that he/she(?) has not posted yet. i'm sure there's some more left. thanks for reading and no violent reactions.

speaking of shinies. During GBA period, i think that i have played FireRed 5 times from start. and every of that starts, i catch suicune for my johto cat/dog. and every time i catch it, suicune would always be shiny. well, i'm not a big fan of shiny pkmn but suicune and gyarados are the only shinies that i accept to my teams.

i really hope it would be ho-oh and lugia. because poor ho-oh has all these praises too him in game and anime but just an extra in movies and anime. Even mew already forgot what ho-oh sounds and replaced it with pidgeot's cry. poor guy.

your timing maybe off. the pokemon/item cloning technique works evenly in G/S/C. but remember that the fun part of doing this is having to encounter glitches like this one and not cloning uber legendaries which you can't use all unless it's for gift purposes.

There's no HM09 maybe you're just confused in dpPt and HGSS versions because the later has whirlpool as HM05 and the dpPt has it as Defog thus there are 2 HM05(if you combine them only) having the total of 9 HMs.

Wow you remembered that? I really think things like that are just experimental. I mean how stupid can bill get not knowing what dragonite sounds like. Or like the other unusually large pokemon in pokemopolis(?) I say it's just an experiment. Like when animators and/or cartoonists just want to draw really big screens in a lab setting and not knowing today there are LEDs and Plasma TVs. Or maybe they just forgot those things. Like Ash not remembering butterfree or primape even once.

Wow thanks! I never knew much about EV/IVs before, but i do know about natures(i like Rash). And battling certain pokemon to boost a certain stat. Just so that i will not look like a complete cheater. I'm planning to raise a pokemon that exceeds the normal hacked pokemon. Because i need too crush those stupidly uber pokemon. Not to brag but i want to keep a clean record. Well, thanks again! These infos are really helpful.

I've posted something like this in a thread a couple of hours before. Firstly i chose palkia over dialga because it's my favorite dragon pokemon. I chose palkia because dialga is a stup*dly uber pokemon(dragon/steel + roar of time) and many will say dialga owns palkia by that. It maybe true if it weren't slow and if palkia only has dragon and water type moves in him. so there again it is smart battling while not depending on heavily favored pokemon. I mean, has anyone of you used the un-hacked dialga to battle Cynthia's garchomp and not having a single scratch on dialga in all those repeated battle in Elite 4? but i'm a little disappointed in the HP differences because Palkia is a dragon/water type which will make more sense if he has more HP. but still overall Palkia owns dialga.(sorry again for dialga fans)
