Pokemon originating in gens III and IV, where those balls are usable, cannot have their hidden abilities, and, due to the breeding mechanics of gen VI (where the female will pass the ball, and the hidden ability if it has it), it was impossible to breed a HA Pokemon in balls other than those usable in gens V and VI, and of course PKHeX would mark them as illegal. However, due to the changes of ball inheritance in gen VII, where breeding Pokemon of the same species has a 50% chance of passing the male's ball, means that it is theorically possible to get HA Pokemon in those 2 kinds of balls: Say, breeding a Gen III male Pinsir caught in a Safari Ball with a female Moxie Pinsir would have a chance of producing a Moxie Pinsir in a Safari Ball. I have to test it out to see if it is anything more than a conjecture, but, if positive, HA Pokemon in pre-Gen V balls may be legal, as long as they originate in SM. Thanks for your time.3 points

Pokegen does not ALWAYS make good PID/IV combinations for gen 3. The algorithm for a fully legit pid/iv combination requires backtracking due to something called nature confirmation.2 points

Project Pokémon OP GBATemp OP Reddit /r/3dshacks OP Romhack of: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (3DS) Pokémon Rutile Ruby and Star Sapphire are romhacks of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Their main purpose is to provide a more challenging game experience while not artificially limiting the player. The premier feature of Rutile Ruby and Star Sapphire is the ground-up redesign of Pokémon Trainers in the world to increase the game's challenge. Every trainer in the game has been edited, and the level curve expects use of the Experience Share, which means that you level up very quickly. You should be hitting Level 100 by the time you get to the Elite Four. (As discussed, link removed as it directs to page that host files from ROMs. Please upload files accepted by the forum, thanks )1 point

Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your (hopefully) friendly moderator here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their contributions and co-operation thus far! I've decided to have a fresh start for the contribution thread; hopefully more people will read this post, before they post Golden Rules on what is allowed on this thread: Contribution of events from users Pointing out whether said posted event(s) is legal or faked <The only discussion allowed here> Contribution of information regarding other events already posted or event missing from database Strictly no begging and no requests. Want to hype? Go to our Discussions and FAQ thread! HOW TO CONTRIBUTE! 1. Pokemon Link Extractions Dumping and injecting can be done via PKhex 2. Wondercard file (WC6) Extraction can be via Pkhex or using NTR method (recommended, especially for local events) Requirements for such contributions: 1. DO NOT SUBMIT EDITED <or faked> WONDERCARDS, or Wondercards from Private Servers <if you do not know what this is, don't ask> 2. Attach your wondercard in a .zip or .rar file, and upload onto our system while posting. 3. Submit a full video starting from the booting up of your device, and show the event location + receiving of the Pokemon MISSING WONDERCARDS! Please do not submit Powersaves extracted entries. Event Compilation Our individual files can be found at our on-site Event Gallery! If you know how to download files from Github (not sorted by region), an overall archive can be found here on our git page. I regularly move old posts to another thread, to prevent cluttering of this thread.1 point

Download links at the bottom of this post. Please do not submit wondercards edited with this program to the Event Contributions. This is a program that allows you to view the details of (and edit) 6th Generation Wondercard (.wc6) files. If you want to inject a wondercard in to your save, use PKHeX. Credits: Kaphotics, for making PKHeX, without which this program could not exist. Update History: 12-11-14: Added support for ORAS exclusive stuff. 8-10-14: Fixed "Flawless" mistake as well as added OTGender control. Downloads: WC6 Editor.zip WC6 Editor (ORAS Support).zip1 point

If you want the RGBY patches, dump a cia file of one of the original releases, decrypt it using Decrypt9, and go into the romfs. The patches will all have weird names, but they will match the name that each vc rom has for their respective releases (the actual rom is in the rom folder). I would give them to you, but I'm fairly certain they fall under the magical copyrighted content category. However, just to save you the headache, let me tell you now that the old VC will more than likely not work with the trading patches. When gbatemp's TheStoneBanana was developing the Gen II patches, he pointed out the differences between the code.bin files of the old and new VC. One of them was the ability to read patches. If you want to work on restoring the save state feature, you should consider talking with him, since he was able to deduce how to restore the ability to use colors on the new VC.1 point

I saw this in my subscriptions feed yesterday. I haven't watched it yet, but it should provide the knowledge needed to alter them via 8F exploitation. To be honest though, since we're using an exploit that to give us an otherwise unobtainable and illegal result, I don't see the point in the extra effort of preforming exploits over just changing the DVs to 10/10/10/10 with a save editor. It doesn't make it anymore legit, it's still an exploit to obtain something illegitimately. That's just me though. Props to those who want to do it this way.1 point

Export one Ram, send it to your computer, delete it, and dump again ^^ But you need a new Sun/Moon save for that (or new demo). You can send ram dump here to us too. Like that somebody can use my method to catch them or we can recreat them.1 point

Looks like the event zip had a file accidentally overwritten, there's a .bak file in there. Should be easy to resolve1 point

Hi! I'm sorry for my bad English ^^' I've noticed that pkhex says that gen 3 and gen 4 starters with HA in Dusk Ball are not legal, but if I'm not wrong (I'm not sure) you could catch them in Dream World in gen 5 with any Ball, but they only were male. So, in gen 6 it was impossible to breed them in a Ball that wasn't a Poké Ball, but if you breed a male starter catched in gen 5 in Dusk Ball with Ditto in gen 7, you should get it in a Dusk Ball. (I would like to know if I am wrong, I'm not sure if you could catch those Pokémon in DW as any other Pokémon ^^') Thank you very much!1 point

Appears the Event Database may have an invalid contribution? The English Greninja card has an OriginGame = 0x34, all others are 0x1F. (offset 0x6C) @theSLAYER ?1 point

Y'know, at very high levels, using a Void Shadow effectively curb-stomps most of the game given its stats and because of the Boss Pokemon thing. Drain heals most of the damage done, and Peripheral Attack attacks enemies in a circle. The one thing I forgot to mention, however, is that Void Shadows have this tendency to spawn more Void Shadows when hit.1 point

Hey, reporting that Rufflet and Vullaby caught at Poke Pelago should only be legal if their origin game is set as Sun and Moon respectively since they're version-exclusives. Changing their origin game to the other game still deemed them legal in PKHeX which they shouldn't be. And yes i'm on the latest update. 627 - Rufflet - F4C6200D6B7C.pk7 629 - Vullaby - C3292091153B.pk7 Edit: An afterthought; Zygarde caught in Sun and Moon should only be legal if caught in a Poke Ball as serebii says so: http://www.serebii.net/games/genviball.shtml1 point

I took a probably-too-long break from work on Nova Sun and Umbra Moon because of five reasons: Getting settled in my new apartment Social events Getting my Smash tech skill back in shape for Genesis 4 Waiting on feedback from my testers The Binding of Isaac: Antibirth and Afterbirth+ I'm officially back to work on it. I'm shooting for a February launch. I promise it'll be worth the wait! My completion of various aspects of the hack are below: Legit/Leveled Build Wild Encounters: 77% Expanded Build Wild Encounters (Will probably take like 1/3rd the time as Legit/Leveled): 0% Trainers+Totems: 50% Pokémarts and Item changes: 100% Wild Hold Items: 100% Moveset Availability changes: 100% Game Text: 90% Evolution changes: 100% Installation batch file (much easier than doing everything manually to create CIA, 3DS, HANS, or other packs): 100% My testers are about halfway through the game, and as I make new content I am sending it their way for feedback. By my estimate, I'm 58% done with the hack. Since most of what remains now is Trainer edits and the Expanded Build's wild encounters, the remaining half should proceed faster than the first half. I won't release any form of incomplete build of my hacks. It's just not the sort of person I am. I want to release the product in as polished and bug-free a state as I can. I also don't want to post a thread for this project until there's a release available. Pre-release threads, in my experience, tend to turn the first three pages into absolute unreadable schlock 90% of the time. Please look forward to my release! (Oh god. There's no BBcode-based post editor on Project Pokémon anymore, just this damn WYSIWYG editor. It's going to be such a pain to maintain a thread on here and GBATemp now...)1 point

Just download the latest compiled from: http://teamcity.skyeditor.org/viewLog.html?buildId=5674&buildTypeId=PKHeX_PKHeXBuildPr&tab=artifacts If you want to do it yourself, note that PKHeX's logic (PKHeX.Core) is now separate from the UI (PKHeX.WinForms). Compiling PKHeX.Core gives a .dll which is referenced by PKHeX.WinForms. Build PKHeX.WinForms to get the .exe (by default builds to \PKHeX\PKHeX.WinForms\bin\<Debug/Release>\PKHeX.exe).1 point
