According to the Japanese Pokémon Global Link website[1] as reported by Serebii.net[2], thousands of people (5,954 to be precise) have been hit with bans from Online Play (Game Sync, Battle Competitions, Rating Battles, Global Missions). Banned users will see error code 090-0212.[1,2] The Pokémon Company has announced that they will continue their pursuit against people with edited save data.[1,2] We urgently recommend not going online until we have more information on how these bans were triggered. That's pretty cool, nice to have some confirmation. ----- Just realized something: Year of the Monkey: they gave Infernape. (last year) Year of the Rooster: They gave.. Magikarp!? Guess they can't give Blaziken again, aye?2 points

Perhaps there was impossible formes or impossible Nat dex entries, or ridiculous values on saves (that seem like generated by powersaves, search as Item count). To my understanding the online ban only affects services that use your game sync ID, such as rated battles and stuff. I think GTS and Wonder trading (and normal trades?) aren't affected. I don't use Game Sync and those services, but I can't say for sure. I tend to not edit my cart's save directly, due to the possibility of this type of thing. (I actually bothered to trade 40 Beast balls on 40 Pokemon onto my main cart, lol)2 points

Try using a save without complete Pokedex, then get back to us. My saves had their Pokedex completed manually (and shifting around of Pokemon in Pokebank), and I don't have this issue. Maybe you have something illegal in your dex, like Eternal Floette or Shiny Cosplay Pikachu?2 points

Bank was released no more than a day ago. Implementing things takes time, especially so when it's an unpaid position irl duties come first!2 points

The mew in the event file is a pk1 from the party. Did you just dump it into a box with pkhex? That's probably the problem, pkhex doesn't seem to correctly replicate what the gen 1 games do when moving in and out boxes. Gen 1 structure has a redundant level byte when on the party, and the byte used when in box storage is set to 0x00 whenever the pokemon is on the party. Also, why is the jap mew from the event file at level 100? Shouldn't the file better be your level 5 mew? (btw, the jap mew in the event file is in "boxed" state). Also, anyone checked if there's any sign in the transporter for the gen 2 games title IDs? ps: I hope they fix the gen 2 shiny thing, for consistency, even though they only need to do so if gen 2 is released. ps2: I wish they would have added gen 4 transfer support so we could skip a transfer step.2 points

A new version will be posted once the transfer methods are documented fully and completely implemented. Gen 1 VC -> Gen 7 Gen 6 -> Gen 7 We advise using the official transfer methods; do not assume that using the latest commits is safe. Edge cases need to be accounted for, and different areas of the program need to be updated to correctly handle the new changes.2 points

This is a collection of a few small Java programs I wrote and have been using to edit some files in Pokemon XD: GoD and I've also recently found out that some of them also work with Pokemon Channel and Colosseum files. They're mainly just more convenient than manually editing the files. Almost all of them have size limits because changing file sizes needs modifications to the game's .toc and FSYS list. GTX to TGA: Converts .gtx files to TGA images, mainly useful to find out what they are I_SF Tool: Inserts/extracts DSP files into/from XD's music FSYS files, the filenames usually begin with "stm_" SAMP Tool: The same as above, uses .samp and .sdir files to extract and insert music samples, can be used to replace sound samples for sequenced music (Colosseum) and soundeffects, Pokemon Channel contains some too LZSS Tool: Inserts/extracts files into/from .fsys files, filenames should not be changed for the insertion to work ModelTextureExtractor/Inserter: Inserts/Extracts textures from model files in the form of .tpl files, the standard offset should usually work for most battle models, the offset needs to be set to 32 for overworld models and maps and to custom ones for some battle models that have particle data before the model Insertion has two options of reducing the palette of a TPL using a palette in case it is too large, though both are quite buggy, it's mostly a last resort option Again, don't change filenames of extracted textures for the insertion to work These should also work for Pokemon Channel's .dat files and Pokemon Colosseum's models MoveTextureExtractor/Inserter: Does the same as the model one, but only works directly on FSYS files, I'm really not sure why I wrote it like this String Table Editor: Just a more convenient way of editing the String tables, just removes the need to manage offsets and so on, top right corner shows all Special characters, adding a single byte can be done with {} too XD THP Tool: Inserts/Exracts THP files from FSYS archives, the filenames usually start with "movie" Download: Here EDIT 22.03.2017: bug fixes to model texture tools1 point

Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your events moderator and forum manager here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their contributions and co-operation thus far! How To Contribute: Wondercard file (WC7/WC7FULL) Extractions can be done via PKHeX or using NTR method (recommended, especially for local events) Requirements for such contribution: 1. DO NOT SUBMIT EDITED/HACKED/FAKE WONDERCARDS 2. Photos of redemption, with proof of user identity (some card with your username) 3. Context: ie. Self obtained? Location? Was it crowded? Collection Process etc. Upcoming and Missing Events: Please do not submit Powersaves extracted entries. edit: table removed. We'll update when we see something. Event Files: Our individual files can be found at our on-site Event Gallery! If you know how to download files from Github (not sorted by region), an overall archive can be found here on our git page. I regularly move old posts to another thread, to prevent cluttering of this thread.1 point

Seems they updated it. Shiny Xerneas/Yveltal/Diance XYZ Zygrade/Alexander Hoopa all can be traded and used online now.1 point

People who live in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, which the event is meant for (Chinese New Year, also named Lunar New Year and Spring Festival), get it by going to shops for purchase or getting it from an online portal (that normally blocks IPs from different countries). Also, the event was uploaded early by Nintendo/Game Freak, ahead of release date, So those with the serial code can already receive it. The wonder card is meant to be single use, yet it uses Wonder card ID 0000, which isn't added to received list, hence why it can be received again, lol.1 point

If it means anything to anyone, PokeBank's Mewnium Z can be received by the same game more than once. I have PokeBank on both my CFW and non-CFW 3DS, and both gave a wondercard to the same Sun cartridge. Not that it's worth anything since Z crystals are infinite, but I thought it's maybe worth noting.1 point

No need for extra confirmation, I got the Shiny Magikarp too, just haven't uploaded it yet.1 point

@Traiver I know you got VC trading on GSC working, but were you able to allow restore points access?1 point

I'll say give Pokemon Sun and Moon a week. I think XY blocked some stuff after Bank as well..1 point

I'm attempting to trade them through Sun and Moon with you. Well, except the hoopa for now.1 point

Original issue was an out of date version, has already been resolved in latest commits. Latter memory issue discussion here, and has also been resolved in latest commits.1 point

The Xerneas and Yveltal I have are the Japanese events, and they were tradable in Gen 6, so I'm guessing they've just mistakenly shiny-locked Xerneas, Yveltal, and now Diancie. That, or they don't yet recognize those specific events yet. Anyway, per your request, here are the Japanese pk6 files I have that work in ORAS trade (please note they've been edited for optimal IVs and given max contest stats and every possible ribbon haha, but they were legal in ORAS and were tradable ) I've also mentioned this in an earlier post, but I see that you were able to get shiny Mew to work. I eventually figured out what was wrong with my Mew, because I got rid of both Defog and Softboiled and it went from being untradable to tradable, even though Defog + Softboiled Mew was tradable in ORAS. Mew could learn Soft-boiled legitimately as a Move Tutor in Fire Red/Leaf Green/Emerald, and could legitimately be transferred to Gen 4 and learn Defog as HM05 in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. So that begs the question... is it just specific events that they're not registering or are there a ton more mistakes and they, as @HaxAras put it, royally screw up the legitimacy checking system? 716 ★ - ゼルネアス - 38194CA6756F.pk6 717 ★ - イベルタル - E74F021217E5.pk61 point

I think i have the same issue My pokemons passed the bank today, but i can't trade them to a friend or battle with them. I have a message like "There is a problem with one or more pokemon ..." (i dont know the exact sentence, i have a french version of the game) I'd like to add that some of pokemon with the problem are code that I use, some others are WC i injected. By the way i could use them in ROSA (i tried before passing the bank) I looked with Pkhex if there is a problem, all have the HT Memory problem, i fix it but i still can't trade them to friend or use them in battle1 point
-
Mmm. Well, I'll have to check that later... On a sidenote, I have checked the 3 main errors regarding this build. I cleared all geolocation memories, as well to uncheck the Super training flag and... the messages keep on showing. I can't find the source of the incorrect transfer invalid. But this always happens whether you have customized the mon a lot in ORAS or XY. When you use a cleaned WC6 file however, only the HT Memory Invalid messages appear, but now that we know the source it passes the legality check. Right now that's the only way to check any event as legal. I have to log out now, but I will be in 4 and a half hours.1 point

Oh, I see, but we have the seeds, so if there are really only 9 seeds I'll just go and generate them next week (if no one has already done so by the time). The 9 shiny ones will always be the same, so in this case I think it would be best to just have them as pkm files rather than going trough all the save preparation + connectivity. The program seems to be intented to be used with new save files anyways (and then you just trade it to your main save...so in this case injecting the pkm directly is just saving time).1 point

Wait, so they added the OT extra bytes for nothing? They don't check the full string? Does this apply to the JAP mew too? They really messed up, even the Gen 1 original events had those extra bytes in OT to prevent nicknaming. That means that IF the transporter shiny DV spread is possible (that damn GB RNG...), it would technically be possible to get a shiny mew via the glitch that can be transported. Of course, it would still be from the glitch, so not really legit but... ps: I'm pretty sure HaxAras was referring that the only shiny legit mew is the JAP one from Emerald's Old Sea Map event.1 point

If its of any help this is my experience with what i've imported so far: Mews: The only Mews I got to officially import were the JPN VC Mew theSlayer contributed and the UK VC Mew contributed by RupeeClock. The Toys R Us YOSHIRB Mew from 1999 and the 14 event Mews from port25 don't import either. When I changed my glitched Mew's OT to GF and ID to 22796 it would import fine as mentioned in this thread. Surfing Pikachu: A Pikachu taught Surf will not import, likewise neither will one evolved in to a Raichu. If the Surf move is removed with a save editor the Pokemon will import fine. Other Pokemon that were caught in-game and taught HM's import with no issues. I also dumped my pre installed Pokemon Green from my JPN 2DS, installed it on my PAL 3DS XL and that worked fine with Poke Transporter, it simply showed along side my other English Pokemon games. I now possibly have some of the oldest Pokemon in GEN 7, my 17 year old squad from Pokemon Red and 16ish year old squad from Yellow, good times1 point

I've just stomped this: https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemonrng/comments/5ny1el/scripts_and_guide_to_help_automate_rnging_a_shiny/ It's a program that helps in making a legit savegame that has a shiny jirachi checksum, which is kind of cool. Maybe it's time to just upload all possible shiny jirachis from the bonus disk? It would certainly be a lot easier, and since they are limited... EDIT: I think the 9 only(?) possible shiny jirachis are already here (and they've been for a long time): https://sites.google.com/site/kaphotics/resources Seed: 0x353d, PID: 0xba7df435, Nature: Bashful, HP: 24, AT: 3, DF: 30, SA: 12, SD: 16, SP: 11 Seed: 0xf500, PID: 0xc90e8744, Nature: Careful, HP: 10, AT: 0, DF: 10, SA: 10, SD: 26, SP: 12 Seed: 0xecdd, PID: 0x987ed636, Nature: Docile, HP: 19, AT: 7, DF: 10, SA: 19, SD: 10, SP: 16 Seed: 0x9359, PID: 0xbcfaf2b0, Nature: Hasty, HP: 3, AT: 12, DF: 12, SA: 7, SD: 11, SP: 9 Seed: 0xcf37, PID: 0x7b053548, Nature: Jolly, HP: 11, AT: 8, DF: 6, SA: 14, SD: 5, SP: 20 Seed: 0x7236, PID: 0x2ec1608d, Nature: Lonely, HP: 31, AT: 23, DF: 26, SA: 29, SD: 18, SP: 5 Seed: 0xa030, PID: 0x4633087d, Nature: Naughty, HP: 21, AT: 31, DF: 31, SA: 18, SD: 24, SP: 19 Seed: 0x7360, PID: 0xbf98f1d5, Nature: Serious, HP: 29, AT: 10, DF: 31, SA: 25, SD: 23, SP: 21 Seed: 0x3d60, PID: 0xeb0da543, Nature: Timid, HP: 15, AT: 28, DF: 29, SA: 3, SD: 0, SP: 71 point

Whoops, it seems I never re-uploaded the 0.1 with the other files and it seems I never commited to github my latest changes... I guess I have some homework to do next week, may I'll even finish editor support (I had some nasty bug I couldn't fix when I stopped working on this). As theSLAYER pointed out, the files are included in the gen 6 event archive and pkhex has supported inject/extract for some months now. I'll add this to the first post. Also @theSLAYER, I've seen you have multiple languages for the Regi trio in the event file; my own spanish Johto starters pl6 file is on the first post attachment, in case you'd want to add it to the archive.1 point

As Pokemon Bank got an update to include a new feature to track your certain stats from all 6 current 3DS games I have found out some new values! Sun & Moon Pokemon caught fishing: 69C1C (tab 007 in PKHeX) Pokemon evolved: 69C24 (tab 009 in PKHeX) Fossils restored: 69DB4 (tab 118 in PKHeX) ORAS Wild Pokemon encountered: 1F414 Pokemon caught fishing: 1F420 Fossils restored: 1F5B4 Pokemon caught in one day: 1F5A8 Pokemon evolved in one day: 1F5B0 XY Pokemon caught: 1E41C Pokemon caught fishing: 1E420 Fossils restored: 1E5B4 Pokemon caught in one day: 1E5A8 Pokemon evolved in one day: 1E5B0 I've also been working on finding data in Poke Pelago for visiting wild Pokemon. One reason is so we can view the data in case there's a shiny Pokemon and it can be extracted without playing the waiting game of luck. The Pokemon are in the 260byte encrypted format (.bin) but only use the first 232 bytes from what i've seen. I managed to extract raw data from a Pokemon visitor by taking the first 232 bytes from the following offsets and putting it into another template Pokemon's .bin file. Visiting Pokemon 1: 3C4AE Visiting Pokemon 2: 3C59A Visiting Pokemon 3: 3C686 When looked at in PKHeX the differences of the raw data compared to when captured were a blank met location, date, OT and also under Extra Bytes 0x2A had a byte of 10 and when received had 11. Example of mine: Lapras RAW.bin Lapras claimed.bin Proof of editing encounters: http://imgur.com/ceWkzpZ http://imgur.com/W2HmtCB1 point
