  4. Hey, first off I'd like to thank you for making this mod, it's really great! I love the difficulty, never felt unfair but always had to think and strategize which many modern pkmn games lack. Just a little note: the discord-link doesn't seem to work for me Also, is it possible to get Celebi in Grand and if so, how and when? Always bugged me that you couldn't in original Colosseum :'D Anyway, thank you so, so much!!! I can really see the amount of work that went into this game and I LOVE IT!!
I opened this in the newest version of PKHEX and went to the SAV tab and ran the 'Verify All Pokémon' option and the report showed many Pokémon that have been detected as clones or as using the same TID or EC. Fixes for this could be to reroll each Pokémon's PID by clicking reroll on the 'main' tab a bunch of times and reroll the encryption constant at the bottom of the 'OT/Misc' tab then you can make them shiny again. for event Pokémon you can use the Mystery Gift data base by going to Tools>Data>Mystery Gift Database, and for static encounters select Tools>Data>Encounter Database this will give you legal Pokémon and you can specify which origin game. Just remember that you must reroll the encounter for each Pokémon so it won't get picked up as a clone or for having matching PID/TID/EC. Also, keep in mind that when it comes to event Pokémon, if they aren't meant to be shiny events then it will still not really be "legal" if you force it to be shiny. Hope this helps.
  5. It has been great being able to play through Colosseum with many of the QOL changes that have come from later gens. I was even enjoying the increased difficulty level right up to Realgem Tower. I'm not the best player by any stretch, but the permanent weather teams used by the admins are simply atrocious. You said above that there are "plenty" of shadow mons who learn the weather moves, but from looking at your docs there are only 3 that learn Rain Dance and two of them learn it at least 6 levels past the suggested level cap. No move tutor or tm either so if you remove the weather move you are screwed. I'm sure many will enjoy the increased challenge, and pouring over docs of endgame content to know what moves you can and can't replace on your mons for the whole game but that's not me. Thank you for the effort that clearly went into a great mod for those who like a challenge.
  6. Hi, sorry if this question doesn't go here, I can inject this event in my original cartridge (ESP) ?, this was possible legitimately? i.e., a person from Spain could go to Japan and download all the events they made or there was some kind of limitation? do you know where i could look for information about these possible regional restrictions? thanks a lot!
  7. Since I just ended up seeing this post by chance I'll add some info on this comment. The save was extracted from a American version of My Pokémon Ranch. It doesn't have a living dex and it's probably full of hacked pokémon from when I was a kid back in 2008 and placed most of them into the game. IIRC I cloned a bunch of Bidoof in PkHex and placed them in to get to the 939 ammount on 2017. Quote from my digiex post: "It has 939 pokémons in it, so you are able to deposit 61 extras in it. With that you should be able to deposit a Leaflon and a egg for the Mew and Phione respectively." So you need to deposit 2 boxes of pokémon into the save to be able to get the Mew and Phione should you want to do that instead of downloading the .pkm file directly from the linked post. IIRC you can only take back pokémon you deposit into the original game they came from, so there would be no point in considering the pokémon in there anything but "garbage" to get the Mythicals.
  8. That only matters if the trades between red and blue are different. if they are, then you should take it up with the original uploader ><

I started playing this hack a few days ago and now that I am finished and it has been a pleasant experience. - I know that in the original there werent that many shadow pokemon, but it may have been possible to add a few more. Its mostly the same Pokemon as in the original, except for a few like Salamance out of my head. and not only the shadow pkmn, most of the trainer have the exact same pkmn. I even remember getting Heracross here in the Pokemon Lab and in the original in Realgam Tower. It could have been a new pkmn instead of it switching with another one. It got a little stale for me. I find it good however, that most of the trainer pokemon are evolutions. Take for example the first trainer in the game. - The Master Ball Glitch still is in the game. It works by catching a shadow Pokemon with your first pokemon and than switching the master ball with another ball in your items. It could be prevented by simply turning it off. So you cant switch items while in battle. It isnt a big deal, you can just avoid to do it in the first place. Also a wider variety of balls to buy would be a good inclusion. And not beeing able to buy balls in other places and only in Outskirt Stand. Same goes for some other items. Also its nice that it seemed a little easier to catch pokemon. Was the catch rate for the 3 dogs higher? I did like that. - Trainers tend to be a little dumb. Sometimes they boost their stats even tho they only have 10% hp left. They sometimes attack the pokemon that is resisting their attack and not the one weak to it. The lvl Cap is fine however. You are never overleveled and thats a good thing. You also dont have to grind as much. Its a good pacing. - Items overall. I know its 3rd gen but if we take Pokemon xg for example, there was not only Choice band, but Choice specs and lifeorb included. Some others as well. Having more options when team building is always good. I did llike many quality of life changes tho. Including physical/special split was needed in these old games. Many pokemon were unusable because of that. Reusing TMs, beeing able to see your shadow pokemons nature before it is freed. That wasnt possible before. Having said all that, I dont know how hard it is to program new things into the game. Like more shadow pokemon or new items. I still think it was fun overall, but it could defintly improve a little
Super fun so far! I am doing a Nuzlocke of this atm. Do you have an action replay code for infinite rare candies? Just trying to avoid some of the grinding to get pokemon to the level caps.
  10. Thanks so much for this comment! The Ludicolo fix will be in the next patch whenever I get around to it, however I'm going to wait till I figure out the AI issues as that's currently my biggest issue with the state of Grand. Currently unable to decide on which Pokemon come out first, which makes designing AI strategies a pain. I've experienced the fake outs towards ghosts and leech seed on grass types too, so gonna try and fix that as well. The Mirror B fight requires a lot of prep and tbh I'm not sure how possible it is to beat without Ariados, but with it I've always managed to 6-0 his team below level cap every time I've done a run. Honestly it's the cave trainers that give me the most issues hahah. Looking to see if someone will help me create better trainer documentation for future releases! Hope you enjoyed the hack till the end
I am a big fan of the original games for the gamecube and because this rom hack is not too transformative I would say it is hard not to like it, I do like the increase in difficulty too. I know this is an early version of this rom hack so I didn't have the biggest expectations though I do wish there were more shadow pokemon added to it. I've already beaten Venus and I dont think I have encountered a single new shadow pokemon yet which is strange. Also I am not too much of a fan of the first 7 zones of Mt Battle being turned into easy exp grinding. I was personally quite a fan of the 100 round gauntlet. Lastly I would particularly enjoy if there were more quality of life changes, if you could manage some way to purify shadow pokemon earlier that would be quite nice. Though what is arguably a bigger problem I have with Colosseum is that actually purifying all of the shadow Pokemon is a huge pain. I assume that is part of the reason why Mt Battle is the way it is in this hack, but it feels like a relatively inelegant solution. If there was somehow a way to integrate the purification chamber from XD into Colosseum that would probably be the best way to deal with this, but I realize doing so might be quite the undertaking. It just really sucks having to either grind for hours in Mt Battle or having to spam every enemy in the game with shadow rushes until you get enough hyper modes to purify all of the Pokemon.
  11. I wanted to edit my first message but I figured I'd wait. i found out that if you go talk to the teacher in phenac city she'll manually update the info in the PDA, which is neat. about trainers docs - I beat miror b yesterday and all the trainers up to that point (miror b included) have their accurate pokemon data in the trainers' mons folder. so, at least up until miror b, all the info are there and seem correct, you just have to search for the right files. it's kinda tedious but it works. the most bugging thing is that, in the cave for example, since you don't know what exact order the .txt files follow, when you can take different paths you can't be sure if you're gonna fight trainer 1 or trainer 2. i mean, this documentation is barely of any use for people who just wanna play this game in the standard way, im only bringing this up because im doing a nuzlocke. so, about nuzlocking... up until where i am now, it seems definitely possible, but preparing for each battle is mandatory. I still don't quite understand how the AI works, sometimes it seems they just go for random moves, it's weird. I can't really find a pattern. sometimes they fake out my misdreavous, or yesterday even miror b tried to leach seed my sunflora at least 3 times. last thing I wanted to bring up is the miror b battle. note that im playing with no items in battle but also without level caps for now as up until miror b you can only overlevel your 2 starters, all the shadow mons you get access to are slightly underleveled and can't level up. im pretty sure the miror b fight would be near impossible with umbreon and espeon at 35, it would massively rely on good rng and AI messing up multiple times. for the record, i had a lv38 espeon and lv39 umbreon. looking at miror b's team the fight looked impossible, but the AI helped me out immensely. they kept water pulsing my sunflora instead of ice beaming it and ice beaming my umbreon instead of doing focus blast. ive no idea why that happened, i'd like to understand the AI better. a tiny suggestion i wanted to share is, for nuzlocking purposes, since miror b has 4 ludicolo, all with different natures and movesets, you should make them discernable from each other. except the one at level 35, the remaining 3 are all lv34 and female. i'd change the gender to one of them or make one lv33 just so you can tell them apart. i feel like it's important also because their movesets are pretty different from each other: one is physical, one is special, one is mixed, one takes more of a utility role with fake out and rain dance. again, these are all tiny suggestions specifically for people who want to nuzlocke this, but the few tweaks i mentioned wouldn't hurt anyone. im having a ton of fun nuzlocking this, it's super challenging but super rewarding. i'll keep sharing more insight
  12. Aw thank you so much! Really glad to hear you're enjoying it and thanks for giving feedback That fight in particular however is actually 100% beatable. SPOILERS for anyone who wants to come at this completely blind, but Furret's catch rate is the same as Makuhita's is in the original game, which is 100%. You can catch the Furret and then the enemy can do literally nothing to you, being a normal type. Hope you enjoy the rest of it and don't hesitate to give more feedback, it's really appreciated!

PKHeX plugin to find and edit content of Berry plots in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald. (In the image, the plot that the character model is facing, is the berry plot that is being focused on.) FYI: The e-Reader berries are not 'real' berries, in the sense that they don't have their own data programmed into the ROMs. They just usurped the slot for Enigma Berries. So if you have those activated in your save, and wanna plant them, just plant Enigma Berries. Originated from: attempting to resolve a glitch. As such, no immediate plans for other games. How to use Put the plugin into the plugins folder in your PKHeX directory, then access it from the Tools menu. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald are supported. Note: Win 10 might block DLL files downloaded from the internet. In that case right click the plugin file, go to properties and check "unblock" (as seen here). [You may have to unblock, reblock, then unblock again to get it to work] Example of how to unblock: Credits Kaphotics for PKHeX. Original Creator: XLuma (blue and green) Additional modifications: theSLAYER (utilized XLuma's work as a basis, to add: red, cyan and white) Uses: To be used as some sort of green screen, easier to make the background transparent, for screenshots or videos. Or perhaps as meme templates. Other colors were added, for reasons such as dealing with transparency, the color existing on the Pokémon's body etc. Prerequisites: You need to have Switch CFW to use this patch. The ability to read and follow instructions closely. (Optional but would do you some good): Have some sort of understanding (even if it's very little) of how to use LayeredFS. Steps: 1. Dump the game. 2. Extract the content from RomFS 3. Go to romfs/bin/appli/pokedex/bin/ to obtain a copy of pokedex_bg.arc (MD-5: 1DCBF031EE67BA2843A51E0BF2808E30) 4. Select the Pokedex_bg_(color)_patch.xdelta of your choosing, and download it. 5. Now, use the program Xdelta to apply the patch to the file obtained in step 3. This will give you a patched file. 6. Now, create a directory like this in your atmosphere/contents/0100ABF008968000 (for Sword) or atmosphere/contents/01008DB008C2C000 (for Shield) folder: romfs/bin/appli/pokedex/bin/ 7. Paste the patched file into that directory. 8. Rename the patched file in the directory to pokedex_bg.arc 9. Boot your Switch and play the game. We will not provide any files beyond what we've already provided, as any already patched files would contain content from files from within ROMs, which fall under piracy.
