"Water: Cool calm and collected. Somewhat like me although not always. Fire:Hot, furious, and uncontrollable. Not something I look for in a pokemon." These adjectives aren't fire and water, but use Fire and water as symbols to represent them. To me that's an invalid argument.

Making an "All-Around" Team

I meant is, not isn't. Bad habit of mine. And I think there are a better choices than Lucario given the team he has. -

New to competitive battling... Suggestion?
Torte de Lini replied to Kopa's topic in Competitive Battling Discussion
Stallers still work wonders if you give it a good switch. Rapid-spinner Starmie, Snorlax and Blissey still do their job quite well, even with choice-scarfed Togekisses, etc.- 18 replies

Making an "All-Around" Team
Torte de Lini replied to Okami's topic in Competitive Battling Discussion
Personally, I'd let go of Lucario. With the popularity of Stealth rock, all pokemon that depend on focus sash are useless (unless they're leading). And uh... it's best just to switch, because Fly isn't really horrible in competitively battling. -

Anyway to improve it since apparently others can access it? -
Equally hard to monitor those who contribute pages and pages of Wiki?

VS Recorder - How efficient is it in checking Pokemon?

Al'right, I stand corrected, despite being told otherwise and having tried it myself. Is everyone's firmware at their latest? Because whenever I try GTS, I get a lock-up and blank screen. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=805 I'd like to remind everyone that this is still off-topic to my original question about the VS Recorded and no one has made any further tests recently. -
There should be a rank for those who contribute by answering questions via the forum. Also a rank for those who contribute event pokemon :3 Might give them more incentive to actually bothering to go to these events. Since one of those ranks are subjective, I'm sure we can add two more.

New to competitive battling... Suggestion?
Torte de Lini replied to Kopa's topic in Competitive Battling Discussion
Yes, let's give him an all-out team of attacking pokemon to be squashed by a Curselax. /applaud Stallers and Wallers will just gradually kill them off. High attack, in most cases, will give him a team of easily crippled pokemon. Sorry, but his entire team has no particular order or team-like strategy.- 18 replies

New to competitive battling... Suggestion?
Torte de Lini replied to Kopa's topic in Competitive Battling Discussion
No. No to Slaking Ever. He's just not worst his pathetic ability. Never. Trash him. In the garbage. Gone. Vileplume is a no too, a lot of other pokemon do what she/he can do and better. And Ninetales is a no too. You built it wrong considering a cleric pokemon (Blissey) can wall Ninetales and clean up any messes it tries to do. Magnezone is a bit risky, but you see with Vileplume and another weather-changing ability is just silly. You're trying to shoot for all directions which hardly succeeds. Get some wallers: Curselax, Blissey are a good place to start.- 18 replies

It depends. If the event gives you an egg, rather the pokemon. I believe they're flexible and may be totally random.

Add more exclamation marks please. To be a bruiser and off-topic, being a brown belt means nothing when it comes to violence, especially since Karate shouldn't be used in order to gain something, but to defend when all other methods (reasoning for instance) cannot resolve the impasse. I know you're joking, but I'm bothered to see you joshing with Karate. _____________________________ To be more on-topic. I don't think Nintendo is efficient in their checks as everyone makes them out to be.

VS Recorder - How efficient is it in checking Pokemon?
Torte de Lini replied to Torte de Lini's topic in Pokémon Legality
That's already known Syberia, although I seemed to not have stated it in my previous post Accessing other parts of the "GTS" facility were fine with minor lock-ups upon entering (happens on occasion). Uploading boxes of your pokemon is fine as well. Not tested with Contest-winning pokemon, but I assume it should be fine as well. What is the trouble is uploading videos using a flash card via the Battle Recorder section in "GTS". Trying to do the same procedure with pokemon with legal hex values, but not a non-generated PID/IV and/or legal shininess causes problem, no direct correlation through process of elimination shows that those aspects are direct cause of not being unable to load videos, but we can assume that at least one of them prohibits us from doing so. Confirmation on anything previously stated in any posts would be terrific. -

Lol @ loopholes. All I know is the following: CycloDS and/or Flash Card users cannot access GTS (Locks-up as soon as you past the doors) Uploading Boxes/ Contest pokemon does not cause a problem (sometimes you might lock-up) Uploading Pokemon videos with correct Hex Values (Mine were correct, I believe), but illegit IVs/Nature/Shininess will cause the video to give the following error: "here's a problem with YOUR party Pokemon" Not confirmed if it's only because of the flash card or lack of legal IVs/Nature/Shininess or another factor that remains untested -

Torte de Lini replied to Torte de Lini's topic in Pokémon Legality
From what I hear, anyone with a flash card can't upload videos as it will give them an error with or without legitimate pokemon. -
Oh damn ;x Was this intentional on Nintendo's part? So I'm guessing this can never be repaired, can it?

Is anyone having trouble with Pokemon Platinum and some Wi-Fi uses such as GTS. I save and as soon as I get in through the door, the game crashes.

Which do you prefer:Indoors or Outdoors?
Torte de Lini replied to pennypenny123's topic in Off Topic
Indoors. I have a balcony if I want to go out. And to go from one indoor area to another indoor area, I need to go outside, thus I get my fair share plenty. -

VS Recorder - How efficient is it in checking Pokemon?
Torte de Lini replied to Torte de Lini's topic in Pokémon Legality
Wow, really? I haven't done any checking, but I figured all I needed to do was the hex values. Anything conclusive or assumed to be conclusive?
