    Ok guys, these are the LAST pokewalkers I will do. Thanks to all those who participated in this fun little activity. I will now request this thread be locked. Any other requests after this will not be honored sorry :C All walkers will be deleted from my photobucket in two days so make sure that if you got a walker that you save it to your computer. Please do not alter your walkers with out my permission. And no one has permission to just edit mine and make their own new one unless I have already given you express permission. You are more then welcome to make your own from scratch pixel by pixel like I did, but you may not use mine as a template. I may make the walkers again in the future when HG/SS are released in America. In the mean time I will make my own Avatar Thread for those who would still like an avatar made by me. Happy trails, and thanks again to everyone who made this thread a fun and exciting adventure :3

    I have been playing through my old Gold ROM and I have to say, even though the gyms where low leveled I am surprised they aren't as easy as I was thinking them to be. I mean, still easy, but since I am so use to how the 4th gen works I guess it is throwing me off going old school haha. Either way, I would still LOVE to see something stronger then a lv 9 Pidgeoto. That was so painful to see >.< And in spite of Whitney giving me such a hard time when I was young, I owned her first go this time. But I also knew type advantages this time so that helped. I want more of a challenge. I hope they really put everything they got into this remake.

    I am surprised to see not more people buying gold or even both. Honestly, game play wise the games are pretty much identical except the birds are switched around. Is Lugia that much of an appeal? I mean, I too like Lugia more, but I will be playing Heart Gold first since it was the game my late grandmother bought me all those years ago. I guess I am just surprised that a bird you're going to get anyway is a reason to buy one over the other. I mean I know you have to choose, but I never realized Ho-oh was so disliked lol I always buy both since, even when it was a big craze, I knew like now one with the games to trade with. So I always had both and just traded with myself *so sad T^T* Also, it is nice to have a game you can restart and one to keep.

    Guested is right. They are going to appeal to the Japanese fashion WAY before any other culture since Japan is the first place this game is going to be released. Overalls are in, so for the rest of us that means the fashion sense is out haha. Just think, poor quested has to see these overalls all the time. We only have to deal with it in the game. Anyway, it's not the overalls that bother me. Its is that freaking hat. You could raise a school of fish in that thing DX

    In gen I Flareon was my favorite. When G/S came out it was instant love for Umbreon. Now, with Gen 4, it is a close tie between umbreon and leafeon. I voted for Leafeon though since she is my favorite to use in Platinum.

    It wouldn't surprise me to hear that once Team Rocket disbanded that some joined Team Galactic. One, as a tie in, and two, Evil people will want to continue to do evil things. They can't get Gioviani (sp?) to come back so they defect to Team Galactic.

    I would like it for more then just the graphics. I would like it so I didn't have to stare at a freaking tiny screen >:C I played the crap out of my gamecube not because of awesome games, but because I was always using the gamecube version of super gameboy for my advance games. Everything from Minish Cap to Pokemon. Plus, you can have soooo much more in a console game then in a handheld. Think of all the side quests and longer story lines. Heck, you could easily fit all four regions in there will room to spare. The possibilities are near endless in console games. And amen to that. If I had a dime for every time I have heard that from any gaming company *that includes gamefreak*, and they did it anyway, i would be rich. I could be wrong, but didn't gamefreak say they wouldn't be remaking G/S and what comes out in September? I mean, I know it is only a Dungeon game, but they have already started putting console versions of pokemon onto the Wii. I feel that if all these Wii games take off, they may very well make a console game. I for one would love to have one. AND NOT FOR THE GRAPHICS!

    Oh i love your idea about the Bug Catching Contest Guested! I always loved doing that and adding more bugs to it after you get the National Dex *assuming they fallow the current trend in the remake* would be so awesome. I love having tons of stuff to do after the elite four. Of course they wouldn't put ALL in there. Could you see yourself catching a wild Scizor? lol

    See, but your example of the old art work from R/B too the girl character in FR/LG doesn't have as drastic a change. Like I said, its not just the cloths, its the hair and eyes as well. They didn't change the hair color of the r/b girl in FR/LG. They both have long brown hair. I wouldn't care if they put Kris in overalls and that god awful hat. Go for it if you think it will sell more games. But the change of hair/eyes doesn't make me think Kris anymore It's not like having funny colored hair is new in japanese games/manga/anime. We''ll just have to wait and see. EDIT: In regards to the Ken/Mato style argument, style has nothing to do with a character design. Just because I draw a realistic looking charizard vs a cartoony one, doesn't make it less of a charizard. The trio art you posted and the art of Red from pokemon special have a very similar design. *IE turned around red hat, red short sleave shirt, black shirt, jeans etc* The style doesn't change that fact. The rival and girl character also match Green and Blue.

    Just because it is supposed to be about skill, doesn't mean people will vote based on that :tongue: People vote based on personal feelings all the time, even more so in forum and pet site situations. It is why I stopped playing the neopets art contest. Nothing more insulting then a five minute doodle beating out your 8+ hours of hard work just because the user was more popular then you. I don't mind if someone beats me in a contest, but I want it to be because they earned and worked for it. Not because they have a bigger fan base. :bidoof:

    While I see some evidence to support it being Kris, I really don't think it is her. Why would they drastically change her design when the male, while updated, is basically the same? Just look in the spoilers for what I mean. In my opinion, this character is NOT Kris. And I am being honest when I say its not because I think she is ugly and just don't want to admit it is Kris. Honestly the character looks fine to me. There is just to drastic of a difference between this art and Kris' Crystal art.
