    In the past, there has been confusion about whether or not someone needs to register another person in their Pal Pad with their correct, exact, in-game trainer name, and there has never been any definite information one way or another on the matter. The answer is that no, you do not. In order to battle or trade with someone over wi-fi, all that is required is that you both have the correct friend codes entered into your respective pal-pad. I hope this helps anyone that was confused like I was!

    They are incredibly easy to pass up when they look better on the other guy's console.Most games on either HD consoles are upscaled to 1080p rather than rendered at 1080p to begin with, by the way. Blu-Ray as a format for games is hard to appreciate when you have to spend time copying one to your HDD. The appeal to console gaming used to be "pop a game in, sit down, and play". Blur-Ray just isn't a good format for games right now, but Sony doesn't care when it has a good opportunity to push a format on it's unwitting customers. As soon as there is a game in the works that is so massive that it can justify blu-ray, a game that just simply could not have been done on a single Dual Layer DVD, Sony can have their cake.

    I think it would be wise for them to develop a console RPG in the main series that has similar gameplay to games released on the handheld, but with more impressive graphics and more advanced wifi capabilities.

    Recently, I've watched through Tsubasa Chronicles, and now I've just started on Black Butler. I watch most anime with my girlfriend, and she picks most of that out. My favourite anime ever, though? Love Hina.

    Granted, but due to the personality of the pokemon, as soon as he is evolved he refuses to obey you and the only way to get him to obey is with a badge distributed at a Nintendo event. The badge itself is locked into the game harder than the wifi-protocol, and unfortunately the event itself never makes it out of Japan. One day, you're on wifi and an obeying japanese Doc, the same pokemon you wished for, destroys your entire team.I wish the pokemon franchise takes a violent turn in direction. Things become much more serious in the anime and the game: pokemon don't simply faint, they are brutalized within an inch of their lives. Trainers and pokes are subject to real life consequences and are capable of bleeding and dying. The entire franchise is suddenly geared more towards adult gamers in general.

    The hardware in the PS3 is technically superior (at least, most of it). The problem is, developers are having trouble learning the tricks it takes to make visually stunning games for the PS3 because while the hardware is more powerful, the layout of it is a mess. The PS2 had the same issue (although in it's case, it was outclassed by both of the other consoles on the market). Really, by the time the PS3 really starts to consistently out-do the xbox graphically (as developers learn how to write for the PS3 better), Microsoft will have already released a new console to the market anyway.

    First, I really don't mean to flame anyone. You guys are all awesome and all of that, but THIS IS A STUPID THREAD. Now that that's out of the way, for starters I really don't think you covered all the stereotypes out there. What about goth kids? What about preppy kids? What about punkers, rivetheads, steamers, vampire kids, mallgoths, skaters, band geeks and all of those other titles people like to shove their peers into? Personally, I'm in LOVE with neoclassical, vaudeville revival, dark cabaret, and steampunk. I guess stylistically I'd like to be counted as a steampunker if you have to count me as something, or at the very least a neovictorian madman, though I don't wear my tophat nearly as often as I mean to, and my duster needs to be brought in around the waist before I wear it out in public again. My goggles, at least, get a lot of love. :3 I think stereotyping people is pretty silly, though, which is why I called this thread stupid (Nabarl, I promise I don't think you're stupid <333). What's the point? Why constrict things and suffocate culture like that? Open up and express yourself how you feel it. The more aware you are of stereotypes, the more often you will make decisions on the way you act and dress that you won't be happy with, and all to subscribe to some boring scene.

    If something didn't exist within the 4th dimension (time), then why would it be interested in traveling through time? And if it DIDN'T exist in time, how could it travel through Time anyway?That is, everything has to exist within Time, since it wouldn't be a dimension otherwise (everything exists in all dimensions somehow, even if in a very strange or hard to see way).

    There aren't any better movies. I am sure of it. All other movies seriously suck in comparison.

    If I had a use for a bluray player, maybe. What you don't realize is that all 3rd party games look best on the 360. Examples? In list form, of course! -Fallout 3: higher resolution textures, higher static object view distance, better shading -Assassin's Creed: Higher innate contrast, better shading -GTA IV: View distance, innate contrast -Call of Duty 4: Higher res textures, better shading Those are just examples. The PS3 claims to be a graphics powerhouse capable of delivering HD content that blows the 360 away, but so far it has yet to actually do that. That's because sony is insanely stupid and always makes it's architectures preposterously difficult to code efficiently for. Cell is a mess.

    Besides that this theme is waaaay to bright for my tastes, there is one problem: the header is broken when the resolution is 768 horizontally. I'm real picky when it comes to stuff like that.
