    ya depending on how you make / wait for the game to give you a shiny, you may have overwritten a flag or some dependency that prevents shinies. It's doubtful but we are making 100% sure before we arrive at any conclusions.

    Calibrating whatever you are doing for wild Pokemon isn't reliable at all, because Gen 3 games have a method of PID generation that can cause erratic frame results. Method H1/H2/H3 is still not programmed into RNG Reporter. I suggest you backtrack to see what nature frame you actually hit, it's somewhat complex but will allow you to calibrate 100%. Smogon's RNG Research thread (pages 30+) has the information.

    Gen 5 originated Pokemon won't have a previous gen PIDIV relationship. There's the very very very rare chance it may happen, but chances are it was hacked.

    ccitt-16, I don't know any coding languages so that's the most I can help.

    There's active trainers and inactive trainers. 10 slots for active, 12? slots for inactive. There's some problems with 00 being the trainer value loaded (Leo), as his "Talked To" hex is 00. Which means there's no trainer there. (You probably already know this) I'll look at it more in depth tonight, thanks for making this! It's a ccitt-16 checksum by the way.

    It's a tool built into RNG Reporter that displays the random numbers. Some routines are more complex than others... It just helps you analyze the random aspects of the game
