  1. If you're in the US, then they should be legal. They can play backups made under fair use. Sure, you can't download any games legally, but you can run legal backups. I don't care what Nintendo says in the instruction manual, we have the right to back up our own stuff that we pay for (in the US, not sure about other countries).
  2. I'd be very surprised if you couldn't. Black/White 1 work... Anyway, if it doesn't, they'll likely release an update here: http://www.hkems.com/download%20-%200907.htm
  3. http://gbatemp.net/topic/290097-which-flash-cart-should-i-get/ I recommend the Supercard DSTWO or the Acekard 2i. For the most part, the Acekard 2i has nearly perfect compatibility while the Supercard DSTWO has not quite as perfect compatibility with perhaps a few issues with things like Download Play. The SUpercard DSTWO does have a lot of extra features, including GBA emulation: you can play GBA games on a DSi or 3DS! Unfortunately, at the time this has been posted, the Acekard 2i has not been updated to work on the 3DS firmware 4.2, but I'm sure that they will update it eventually. Also, this thread doesn't belong in the Pokegen section. I would use the General Gaming section or the Misc Game Mechanics section. You should see the option to move it under "Administrative" above your first post, between "Thread Tools" and "Search Thread".
  4. This might help you: http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/pid_iv_creation

  6. If your save file is compressed, you need to use http://www.shunyweb.info to convert it to RAW before editing it.
  7. This should help (and it's free). http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/csharp/csharp.html
  8. You should be able to drag and drop between windows.
  9. Sorry, I'm just used to what Visual Studio calls it.
  10. I don't agree that a menu strip is better (although it works for AR code generation and extracting a *.pkm from an ARDS code). Why don't you make a poll asking users what interface they would prefer? Having non-pkm editing features be in a menu, on a toolbar, or on a parent tab control (or some other thing no one has mentioned yet).
  11. That's not really how a tab control works... They are hidden from view when editing items and other things. Maybe you didn't see the second image I attached? http://projectpokemon.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=9944&d=1341175301
  12. If/When it is, someone will probably post it in the forum.
  13. It seems you posted before I finished editing... Anyway...
  14. I'm sure you can make it work. As for the icons on the toolbar, I'm sure that if you asked, someone would make them for you. [Edit] I just got an even better idea: a parent tab control.
  15. It's a toolbar. That thing that has buttons with icons... It's not much different from a menu strip, but it is slightly more user friendly.
  16. I said perhaps a LITTLE space... Besides, a button or toolbar isn't much more than about 35 pixels high. I just don't think that the menu strip is the best place for save editing dialogs.
  17. Perhaps a little more space above the tabs and party area, to contain buttons or a toolbar, instead of having everything besides Pokemon editing in a menu strip.
  18. Trainer info editing (Name, ID, SID, Money, etc) really should have been added much sooner. The only reason I see for why it hasn't been added yet is that this program started out as one that could only edit *.pkm files. So, Codr. Ready to impliment it? It really shouldn't be that hard, especiailly seeing that people have already found out how to decode that info.

  20. That's a ROM editor. Not a save editor.

    Question

Yes. But, you never mentioned what game you want to change it on, so as long as it isn't Black/White 2 (it hasn't been released yet, if at all), then you're fine.
  22. This is something I've been wanting for years... And I'm sure many of you have been too. I finally made codes to modify what nature you get when taking the personality test. These natures correspond to the ones here. These are for the North American version, and do not require that you press any buttons. Lonely: 2237cbb7 000000FF Docile: 2237cbad 000000FF Quirky: 2237cbb8 000000FF Brave: 2237cbae 000000FF Calm: 2237cbb5 000000FF Timid: 2237cbb2 000000FF Jolly: 2237cbaf 000000FF Relaxed: 2037cbb6 000000FF Quiet: 2237cbb9 000000FF Hardy: 2237cbac 000000FF Rash: 2237cbba 000000FF Bold: 2237cbbb 000000FF Naive: 2237cbb1 000000FF Impish: 2237cbb0 000000FF Hasty: 2237cbb3 000000FF Sassy: 2237cbb4 000000FF
  23. I think this is actually what people want. (Requires the .Net Framework 4.0) WindowsApplicati.exe
  24. Wow, it's been a year since I looked at this? Anyway, I've attached a program that can view a save file's team name and held money. No luck on checksums yet. If they are like other Pokemon games and are made with CRC16-CCITT, then I might have results in the next few days. If not, then we'll continue to not have a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky save editor for a long time, since like the way music is stored in the ROM, it will be some format that probably no more than 2-3 games use.
  25. Can't you just back up the pkm files of Reshiram/Zekrom?
