  1. @RedRick_MarvelDC I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but it's time you learn some forum etiquette. - Don't send out unnecessary DMs, such as begging for help - Don't multipost; if you got anything new to add, your post was the latest post, and no one replied to thread, then just edit the information into your latest post. - Don't create multiple threads asking for the same thing. edit: Also for the record if you're hard set on a "legal" scyther, that supposedly never gone through any genning programs, gen yourself a Scyther, breed it, hatch the fresh egg (the ungenned copy), then release the one you "gave" yourself (the genned copy).
  2. So convert ECB file to an actual Dot-code image that e-readers can scan, correct? Consider the link below, there's a Raw to BMP section: http://users.skynet.be/firefly/gba/e-reader/
  3. I made an edit, but I think you missed it. Make sure your dumps come from JKSV, before attempting to edit it then reimport into the game.
  4. The video isn't showing for me. Well, I'm guessing you're in a Pokemon Center, tried to save, then the "unable to save" message popped up. Anyhow, restart your switch, make sure the game is closed, then use JKSV to import save, then launch game and save. Also make sure the save you're importing has a functional main, backup and untouched poke_trade (only if this file is present in your dumps) Make sure that Edizon is closed and has remained closed. Better yet, if you want to edit a save, edit a save that was dumped with JKSV, then import that.
  5. something something swapping game save while game is running. Use JKSV then. https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSV/releases
  6. Try importing/exporting saves with Checkpoint/JKSV. I'm assuming this issue you're having is related to swapping saves using Edizon.
  7. and how do you determine if one Mew was a fake? Given your statement about ID numbers, as far as I'm aware, they're all unique/different.

As part of the Ultra Unlock event that spanned across 3 weeks, a Unova week was part of the event, and Shiny Genesect could be found in raids. For this file to be transferable across games without any stats oddities, you cannot modify any immutable values. Read here: Relevance of HOME tracker

When players logged into Pokémon GO during the period of December 14, 2020 to February 28, 2021, they gain access to the special research that yields a Shiny Celebi upon completion. Players do not need to complete the research within the period. The special research was available to players to promote the then upcoming movie in Japan, Pokémon M23: Coco (the movie has the name changed to Secret of the Jungle internationally). For this file to be transferable across games without any stats oddities, you cannot modify any immutable values. Read here: Relevance of HOME tracker
  10. If you're unlucky, you won't have a shiny with a wanted Nature/IV/Ability with existing TID/SID in Gen 3/4. So if you can't find any, then you gotta change TID/SID.
  11. You also had to change the EC and other values. (I mentioned it on the page of the program) It looks like you didn't do it. edit: I've changed up my textbox make you look over. I've also added longer options that can generate Star and Square shinies based on your TSV, that also provides accompanied stats. Here it is: 886 ★ - Drakloak - 8F9872DD7053.pk8
  12. There is presently no public way to inject a save back into a repro cart. I imagine someone knows, but it's private info as of now.
  13. @yoshivsjoshi I've introduced Star (Keep TID&SID) option, try that out. It it the last option in the list. When you change 1, you should see 2 change too.
  14. Also not a save. Either Gbabackuptool is mucking up, or you're trying to dump the save of a fake/repro cart.
  15. How did you obtain said file? That file doesn't look like a proper save. just bunch of garbled data.
  16. You did not answer all the questions. And to add on, you didn't mention the version number, or whether you're using the fork that supports 3DS games etc etc. Provide details. Last time I'm saying this: If you don't bother to provide details, no one can help you.
  17. very elaborate. Information that we can help with to assist with your problem. /joke What randomizer are you using? Did you get an error screen? Are you absolutely sure you're on the latest version of the named randomizer. Details. we need details.
  18. technically everything is possible with enough coding that adheres to the RAM limit, however I've not heard of anything like that being made.
  19. yeah that's how the game works sadly. You can force square shiny with any PID on your existing TID/SID, but star shiny would require you to either change your PID or change your TID/SID. Since we don't have a tool to get obtain valid star shiny PIDs on existing TID/SID, we have no choice but to change TID/SID. Also to address this: it's (Keep TID and PID) I don't have a star option that keeps TID and SID.
  20. yeah it was, and it only applied to downloading my file, not the entire line of questioning :3
  21. The "being lazy" joke only applied if you were to download my upload. I didn't say you were lazy with the process or anything. Please do reread my exact words :3 hence why I explained the entire scenario, regarding where you might have gone wrong, and how to remedy it. I would think I offered the help, no? I don't expect everyone to know everything right off the bat, such mistakes do happen :3
  22. well that's how the game works, so it's natural that would happen.
  23. For the record, mons captured in Raids have the same correlation too, just that it starts with a longer seed. (Hard to reverse a 32 bit EC to 64 bit Seed. so some computational bruteforcing required.) It is unknown whether PKHeX would completely implement raid checking (in terms of the PID correlation) as well.
  24. For SWSH, any grass encounters, overworld encounters, roaming encounters or fishing encounters, has a known PID IV relationship, that you cannot just hack randomly. (There are a few exceptions, which you can read in Anubis's gist linked below) Detection for that has been implemented into PKHeX. Legality report will show "Encounter Type PID mismatch". Data that has a correlation presently: EC-PID-IV-Height-Weight (all chain generated from one encounter seed) While it's possible to reverse the Encryption Constant to find the seed and then calculate what the results of that encounter would be, there's presently no public method to bruteforce the stats you want. A wrote a tool to try to search for the stats a user may want, but do note it might take a while.. There's also no guarantee that every seed is legal (we don't know yet), but that is something we may find out in the future.. [I mentioned seed because the program just goes up by one seed per search] ---- More info if you want (tweet plus link to gist): https://twitter.com/Sibuna_Switch/status/1379326888674463750 PKHeX's implementation of legality checking (if you can read C#): https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/blob/master/PKHeX.Core/Legality/RNG/Overworld8RNG.cs Tutorial to obtain legal overworld8 details: https://projectpokemon.org/home/tutorials/save-editing/using-pkhex/pid-mismatch-origin-game-swsh-r114/
  25. Let me address what I think happened (starting with the original case). Explanation in spoiler below:
