  1. Could you redo the delete test, but not load the save state?
  2. Okay, am I right to assume you loaded up a save state as part of the launching sequence, during the "delete test" I mentioned earlier?
  3. I think you missed the edit I made. Please answer me this:
  4. I shall be more specific. Completely close Citra. Go to the correct save folder (using the tutorial), back up the save there (like make a copy and paste it in your documents), then delete the save from that Citra folder. Then relaunch Citra and try to launch the game. Does it pop up a corrupted game save message? Does it load as tho your save is still there? For the record, you're not using save states, are you? In case you have no idea what I'm asking, how are you saving and loading saves?
  5. First of, if you somehow don't have a backup of any of the files, it is hard to imagine you can get a your "deleted main back". Next: (a) how are you playing the game. Emulator, retail device? (b) how are you getting the save. Homebrew, accessing the emulator's save folder etc. (b part 1) if on retail device, and extracted the save using homebrew, how are you transferring the save to your computer? (c) how are you saving the game. Are you using the in-game save feature to save the game. (Open the menu in the game -> hit Save) Make sure you answer all parts above.
  6. We're not Luma devs, and this also isn't the best place to get their attention (not saying that is what you wanted to do, but just bringing it up). So you should be dropping an issue on their github for solutions. Since we don't know the issue, the best we could do is give generic advice: 1. Disable/remove any patches (layeredFS) for the game you're running. 2. Make sure your Luma is at the latest version. 3. Make sure your 3DS OS is updated to the latest version (also ensure it's at a version that can run Luma, of course) 4. If you're running the game off your SD card (eg: e-shop or cia version), then upgrade to a better SD card. Even if you're not, consider upgrading your to one that has better speeds (let's say a class 10)
  7. That means your save folder is another folder, lol. How can the game load normally if you deleted the save from the save folder? :3 Follow the steps here to access the correct save folder:
  8. Okay, keep a copy of this edited save, somewhere safe, like in your documents folder. now delete the one that is in the Citra save folder. Then launch the game. What happens?
  9. When you drag the edited save into PKHeX (after closing and reopening PKHeX), are the edits there?
  10. Did you export the edited save from PKHeX? Did you place the edited save back into your save folder of Citra?
  11. It takes the HOME's TID/SID. Compare your GO transfers to past HOME giveaways, like the Kanto Starters on sign-up, or HA Galar Starters. And yes, the SID can be any number, but it appears that HOME account set up in the very early days has the SID as 0000.
  12. Yeah, people who don't normally transfer stuff to HOME or used the transfer feature a long time ago tend to forget about it >< It uses HOME's OT/TID7/SID7/OT gender. HOME does store the OT of the GO trainer, but it's not stored on the pk8 itself; it's data associated with the HOME tracker, on HOME server side. The data that is stored on the pk8, is the original capture date from GO. (The transfer date is stored on HOME server side, once again in association with the HOME tracker)
  13. It's not limited to GO -> HOME transfers; it can occur to any transfer. Specifically, if the mon has a move that is inactive in SWSH, it'll show the yellow mark. The mon is not illegal, it just means it won't be able to use that move. As long as you don't delete/replace the move in-game, it'll appear. (Do note, you won't be able to use that move in SWSH.) Here's an example of a mon showing the yellow ! in HOME:
  14. okay, follow this tutorial, try this method to get your save.
  15. tell me the steps you take to save in-game.
  16. Like I said, save in-game properly twice, not use state saves.
  17. Chances are, you didn't save in game, and instead used state saves. Save in game properly Look at the bottom part of this page, but above the comments section. (also, I was asking how you obtained the save, not how you obtained the game)
  18. I feel as tho you didn't answer all my questions. Perhaps break my previous reply part by part, and reply the questions part by part. I can't even attempt to help if you don't answer my questions.
  19. What game is this for, how are you playing the game, and how did you obtain it? This is not right..
  20. Encryption Constant. This thing: Well yeah, it modifies the top half based on your TID/SID and PID. So given you're using the same PID, TID and SID, it gave you the same result; there's only one modification formula (for forced shinies), so if all the variables are the same, the result is the same.
  21. If I'm not mistaken, the factors connected to the seed are PID, IVs, HT, WT, EC. So yeah, you can't change any of them haphazardly.
  22. Ah that makes sense. To my understanding that is how games force shininess. From what I understand, the games rolls a shiny check, *before* the seed is rolled. (Which the seed is used to determine various stats such as PID, IVs, Height , Weight, EC, etc), and the result from the shiny check would result in either (1) Shiny or (2) Not Shiny. So if you rolled a shiny for the shiny check, but the resulting PID from the seed is not shiny, that is supposedly how the game assigns you a forced shiny PID (by modifying the top half of the PID). [which is square shiny] [extra info: if you rolled a shiny for shiny check, and have a shiny PID from the seed, the game won't force shininess on you. That's how you get star shinies for these wild encounters] Well, glad it's all sorted out :3
  23. No problems. I replied cause I happened to be online, I can't say the same for my future reply, but as long as I have details, I'll answer it when I see it. On a partially unrelated note, I see that all 3 of your SoJ has the same stats and PID. Did you use a cheat to get them or something?
