If a mon was never traded to Gen 2, it cannot have a move removed. There is no move deleter in Gen 1 How PKHeX can recognize "was it traded before", is by checking the Catch Rate. Certain Catch rates change value when traded to Gen 2 and back, due to how some values don't match up held items in Gen 2, so Gen 2 changes them to proper held items upon receiving them. Try dragging your Venusaur between 2 PKHeX windows, one for Gen 1, and one for Gen 2, you can observe in real time.

I'm assuming your Venusaur still has the same catch rate, indicating it wasn't traded.

Yes that is how the game stores the eggs, with the nickname as Japanese, even if it doesn't show in-game. However, PKHeX won't push an error associated to that. Not sure what you did wrong here.

@Meny_Marquez as I've told you in your DMs, there is no need for you to keep uploading the PK8. When the event officially starts (also means the WC8 is unlikely to change), we will upload the official WC8. They can be used with PKHeX to generate PK8.

Did you use the homebrew up to restore the edited save back into the game. You mentioned "put it on my Switch" then went straight to "turned on my game", which implies you placed the edited card into the SD, placed the SD card into the Switch, then straightaway booted the game. The step of "injecting the save into the game" wasn't mentioned.

Are you trying to Create a Mew from scratch? looks like you're trying to make an event mon from scratch. Just add one from the Mystery Gift Database under options. Also, even if it's illegal, you can still add it your save and export it..

You can. However, user made-from-scratch Pokemon tends to be illegal. You might want to use the Encounter Database (in PKHeX) to get a base Legendary, then edit from there.
