  1. Saying I'm absolutely sure right now would be arrogant. No, I'm not, but I'm pretty confident of it. You can post the code if you want. I just don't think it's going to accomplish anything.
  2. Maybe the person in the other thread could've made me actually think about it the way you did if he applied half a second of intelligence. I haven't checked the English versions' font files yet. I just assumed they'd be the same. I'll look into it when I can and post the results. Edit: The posted image says otherwise. I did absolutely nothing special to achieve this result.
  3. If it was generated by PokeGen, then there's almost definitely nothing wrong with it at this point. Conflicting codes, code length, malfunctioning hardware, or just something else you've done wrong along the way are the only potential problems.
  4. There's no easy way to mass-move Pokemon at the moment. It can be done, but it requires saving each individual one, then re-loading it.
  5. my link says that it is a replacement that does not say that it is the same thing it means it is better and a separate thing everyone but you was able to understand that so obviously it is you that is wrong do you get it now there is really no reason for you to be getting hostile over it besides you are the one asking for help here you should be more willing to accept that you are the one lacking correct answers and information but i guess that would make too much sense oh damn i forgot a period at the end of my last post that is of incredible significance. I apologize to anyone aside from the thread starter that's reading this. I know it's painful.
  6. Another suggestion is to try using different activation buttons. The DS hardware may act differently than the emulator I do my testing on.
  7. It takes maybe 10 clicks for you to answer your own question...
  8. ok let me see if i can type like you so that it makes more sense to you since i guess this is how you understand things well no pokesav is not pokegen and never will be pokesav is not a synonym for pokegen so that is why you got the response you got do you understand that part now ok as for your actual question it sounds like you are not even using the english rom which would be really stupid on your part and you probably should not even be here asking about it or maybe you are even setting the language in pokegen to japanese and leaving the nickname editbox blank that would do it too on any game or maybe even you are just so clueless that you are loading a .pkm file that has the nickname blatantly set as japanese characters and you are not even bothering to look at the nickname editbox to see that it has japanese characters there that is something most people would simply assume that nobody is stupid enough to do but i have had plenty of experience that says not to make such assumptions because people really are that stupid ok is that a good enough answer now
  9. The only thing I can suggest to even try to diagnose the problem right now would be to try generating a code with PokeGen that only sets the party Pokemon count and see if even that allows the game to load. That'll only be 3 lines.
  10. Why would you come to a section devoted to an anti-Pokesav program and ask for help with Pokesav?
  11. I honestly have no idea then. I know there's nothing wrong with the code itself. It has to be a hardware problem of some sort.
  12. That may simply be too long in a single code for the hardware to handle. I doubt that though. Have you tried the code by itself with no others turned on?
  13. Paste one of the codes here so I can make sure it's actually being generated properly. Also, which language of the game is this for? Presumably English, but I could be wrong.
  14. Right now.
  15. Right on schedule for once... EDIT: If game codes in exported .xml files aren't correct for Black/White, redownload beta 17. An updated copy was uploaded shortly after the initial one with the fixed codes. EDIT 2: There was also a mistake in the item list. If you have a Japanese entry in yours, redownload beta 17 again. 3.0b17 ADDED: Code generation is now fully supported for Black/White, including all languages except for Korean. (Korean will almost definitely never be added.) FIXED: Reinterpretation of escaped characters in nicknames wasn't done properly, and resulted in a buffer issue that corrupted some (or all?) nicknames with escaped characters. (Found by Bond697.) FIXED: When loading a .pkm file detected as generation 5, or when loading a generation 5 save file, the location comboboxes were forcibly being set to "--------". (Found by Bond697.) FIXED: The codes generated to toggle the flag in HG/SS that determines whether or not the Pokedex button is visible were being generated incorrectly. FIXED: The male/female symbols can now be properly utilized in names. FIXED: Reset controls unchecks the nicknamed checkbox. FIXED: Reset controls was setting the met location combobox to an invalid value for Black/White. FIXED: Using "Send to" or "Delete" on the first Pokemon of a party when no other party Pokemon exist will no longer be possible. FIXED: "Send to" will no longer cause an incorrect number of selected Pokemon to occur. CHANGED: Save file loading will work as expected in situations where the checksums are set despite no data being present in that block. (Change inspired by BananaMan14.) CHANGED: After some research, it seems that the Action Replay handles what I call code type 1 in a manner that can cause it to not work as expected. DeSmuME (emulator) also handles them in an awkward way, and can even crash. Therefore I've simply removed this code type. All codes will be generated the same now, as the previously labeled "type 2". (Thanks to Bond697 for his AR testing.) CHANGED: Pokemon, items, locations, abilities, attacks, and forms have all been updated to the official English and Spanish names.
  16. It's always updated in the "Download link and information" thread in this section.
  17. Yes.
  18. It is in the next release.
  19. There are already ROMs out. The European ROM will almost definitely have the same offset as the US ROM.
  20. Codr

    PokeTransfer

That's actually useful feedback. "I loathe the interface" is not. The code generator is being worked on right now. It may be ready later today, but I'm not making promises.
  21. I could've had the offsets a day or two ago. The next beta release of PokeGen just isn't ready yet.
  22. PokeGen can read .duc files directly, or at least it should be able to.
  23. "Pokemon Diamond.sav" is in an invalid format. I don't know what's gone on there, but it's just wrong. I don't know if you're all running your save files through converters 500 times or what, but you're doing something bad. (There's a thread in the PokeGen section with a nearly identical problem. I've also had forum PMs with the same type of thing.)
  24. Data in this save file isn't in the right position. I don't have an explanation other than faulty hardware. It's not PokeGen's fault though.
  25. PokeGen. It's more likely on release day, but maybe not. I have pretty limited time right now to work on it.
