    My friend was hatching Larvitars all day yesterday, looking for an Adamant one. ...he got a shiny Larvitar. GREAT! What's more, it was Adamant! That's about as lucky as you can get.

    1. Dark - It put a stop to Mewtwo's reign of terror. Not that I don't like Mewtwo. 2. Ghost - I don't think there's a single Ghost-type I don't like. 3. Water - Squirtle is a Water-type.

    The same thing happens with Mario all the time. In fact, it happens with most Nintendo games with the possible exception of Metroid.

    If gender is unkown, it's proper (grammatically speaking) to use the masculine form.

    It doesn't matter whether he fights Kricketune or Bibarel. They both give 2 Attack EVs. In fact, practically speaking, Bibarel are easier to kill because they don't know Sing.

    Yes. This. Fantina was frustrating because I chose Infernape, but it's pathetic how many of the other gyms have weaknesses to fire. Although Wake doesn't, I still got OHKOs on all his Pokemon, so it didn't matter that Infernape was weak against water.

    Ah yes, sweet, sweet irony. Still, with good DI, Lucario can survive at surprisingly high percentages. I'm a little bummed because a friend I Brawl with online thinks Lucario is stupid. Although, I have to agree with some critics that "Aura Storm" should have been "Hyper Beam."

    Does no one read my posts? The first problem is that you should keep close track of the EVs you obtain so you don't spend too little or too much time EVing your Pokemon. Then, realize that you won't see the effects of the EVs immediately; the extra stat points that come from EV training are evenly distributed as your Pokemon grows to level 100. It's gradual.

    I hate apes, which is a shame, because Chimchar is the best starter to use going through the game. 1. Cuteness is not a factor for me. 2. Water types are okay, I suppose... 3. As long as you evolve Chimchar, it does, too. 4. That's true of any Pokemon. 5. If we're just going by how cool their evolutions are, Turtwig is the best. 6. That's a matter of opinion. 7. I took down every gym with my Monferno/Infernape. 8. What's wrong with Tentacruel? 9. Budew is a good alternative to Turtwig, but there's only one other fire-type line until you beat the Elite Four. 10. Bertha's are all weak against grass, whereas only some are weak against water. You've got a point with Flint. 11. Not if your Infernape owns him first. 12. Actually, with the exception of that Medicham's Ice Punch, Torterra isn't bad against Lucian. 13. Again, a matter of opinion.

    Well, strictly speaking, Drifblim is a better Pokemon, considering stats and battle value. But Drifloon is much better looking and cuter overall.

    Well, you wouldn't need nearly that high of a damage % to get his aura sphere to that level. His aura-based powers cap off in strength at 167%.
