1. Torkoal. It's fiery, it's a turtle, what's not to love? 2. Squirtle. It's a turtle, similar to Torkoal, but it doesn't have the base stats to function without evolving, and I don't like its evolutions nearly as much. 3. Mewtwo. Still has the highest Sp. Att in the game barring Attack Deoxys. 4. Giratina (especially Origin Forme). It's like... the grim reaper of Pokemon. It reeks of death and destruction, which is refreshing in this particular series. 5. Porygon-Z. This piece of poultry has some nice stats, plus I just like the overall look of it.

PS1 gets my vote. I remember discovering such Playstation-exclusive masterpieces as Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Tomba, and Gex. All are still better than most junk that comes out these days. Am I being blinded by nostalgia? Perhaps. But I stand by my answer regardless. The PS2, however, is a close second for giving us Kingdom Hearts.

This is an excellent guide. I feel like I need to contribute something as well, but I'm not much for expository writing... and the only thing I know about in-depth is EV-training. Would anyone be interested in a guide for that?

This list is quite helpful, and I think it would be a good addition to the new site (it could use something to make it not so much a giant block of text, and more of a database, such as images or tables), but then, I'm not calling the shots.

The numbers, as it's been said by many people before me, are probably not right, so I won't make a stink about it. But the point is just as valid.

This makes me full of RAGE. Well, not really. But I am slightly annoyed that the forums changed right when I got a decent posting rank. To be honest, I would have seen the change of address as an opportunity to do away with ranks and cut back on some of the spam.
