    All I remember from the manga was that Misty was waaaay cooler and Fearow actually drew blood from Ash in the beginning. Definitely better then the anime.

    I'm not going to post an opinion yet, because my opinion rapidly changes. I will say that I'm very impressed with the answers given though Usually you'd expect threads like this to devolve into flame wars, but all the answers so far have been mature - and have given me things to ponder about.

    I have trouble deciding between Articuno and Lugia for my favorite legendary bird.... And then within all the legendaries, I also like Mew. I'll just consider it a three way tie.

    Ooh, Articuno was my favorite legendary in Red/Blue.

    I've been through with them all. I remember the first time I played Pokemon Blue I picked Bulbasaur... For the remakes, I picked Charmander though. Made the first 2 gyms a bit more interesting.

    I used to always use Rattata evolved into Raticate. Hyper Fang was my I WIN button in the early game.

    Bidoof...the first Pokemon I ran into was a retarded beaver...I was so disappointed, but decided to catch it to fill out my Pokedex/team. I miss Rattata...they were useful.

    Well, perhaps instead of making another 150, they can make only 70 or so, and really take the time to make them unique.

    The Pokemon games actually have 2 save slots that it alternates between, and that's probably your problem. It's better explained here http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=583

    Good point. I'm just incredibly frustrated with the new generation.

    Oh sweet. I hate the look of some of the evolved Pokemon, so I wanted to hold off as long as I could. Thanks for the help ^^

    My first shiny was the Red Gyardoes.... ....and that was my only. I traded my shiny luck for luck in finding the Pokemon I need.

    Let's see.... - Player 1 has a Squirtle, with max IV's, evolves it as soon as he's able. - Player 2 has a Squirtle, with max IV's, but doesn't evolve it until levels 99 and 100 They both end off with a level 100 Blastoise. My question is....will the stats be the same? Does evolving a Pokemon give a single-time stat boost, or does it give a small boost for each level after?

    What would you suggest if my save was ALWAYS one step behind my actions, even after following your instructions... I'm using a G6Real Flash Card, and this is getting really frustrating. It took me 4 odd tries to finally get Pokesav to work the first time, and now that I'm trying to build a team, I cannot get it to work at all. Highly frustrating. -edit- Oh right, I'm using Platinum.
