3 years later, this is STILL the best Pokémon save editor out there.

I was lost before finding this save file. This save file changed my life. I now know who I am as a person thanks to this file. Thank you

Awesome A button for max all IVs and reset all EVs could save a little more time instead of edit one by one Just go to click on max IVs then Reset Evs and edit the few ones that you require Thanks for all Author edit: Already in the program, control click either button for the desired functionality. For more shortcuts, see Options->About PKHeX->Shortcuts

This is such a great tool. It helps people with "life" actually enjoy the game and play competitive.

The program functions very well. It is capable of editing most aspects of the save file that general users would like it to do (Pokémon, inventory, etc). PKHeX is very good for those wishing to pick up Wonder Cards they've missed or are unwilling to acquire legitimately. It's also capable of removing the "used" flag on Wonder Cards so one may claim the same Wonder Card multiple times. This is great for sharing those exclusive Pokémon with your friends. Occasionally errors occur, though I've yet to experience anything persistent. Much unlike my experience with Micro$oft's Movie Maker, which constantly crashes. Overall, PKHeX is great tool for those wishing to edit their save files, regardless of one's reasons or justifications for doing so.

Hello! This is an absolutely wonderful mod! I do have a question, though: how do I recruit the new starters as future teammates (ie gen5-9 starters)? Are they in dungeons?
    2 points
Amazing. A program that can drive even the most successful Pokemon YouTubers to madness. 10/10 will never host for blaines again.

So happy this is finally live! Hope it sets a precedent for projects in the future. Feels like all this work finally paid off.

Very nice ROM hack, though I've noticed a few issues. Aside from stuff like the gen 9 starters not having sprites, fairy type moves don't seem to work. I finally got moonblast on my starter (popplio) and started using it only to find out that, while the typing DOES say it's fairy, the damage it deals is water type. I tested on ground and fire types. Supereffective. Tried it on a water absorb pokemon. Healed them. EDIT: Talked with the dev in the SkyTemple discord. Apparently Moonblast was using the Judgement placeholder animation and therefore would cause it to be the same type as the user. They fixed that in Dusk!

PMD: Seven Symphonies Canete16 has done it again, he already did it with PMD Special Episode 0: In A Dark Past, and now he does it with this 7-hour Demo in which they present Act 1 of their next game. Here is the sequel to PDM Explorers of Sky and PMD Special Episode 0 that we all dreamed and prayed for, having what none of us dared to imagine but knew our inner child needed<3. If you already loved PMD Special Episode 0 or if you just love PDM Explorers of Sky, this is going to blow your mind, because it is really GOOD! This review will be only for the Demo, so it is subject to change in the future: --Gameplay: It has the same gameplay as PMD Explorers of Sky, with some subtle differences, again, there will be no freedom to explore between chapters or maps (The whole demo takes place inside a tower lol), like training at the dojo, and doing side quests (BUT this time you can buy from the Kekleon shop, and recruit other pokemon). The game starts, is, and will be difficult, you start as if you had completed PMD Explores of Sky at 95% (That 5% being significant for the plot), with Protagonist and Partner (You can freely choose which pokemon you want in both) at level 50, high I.Q., and a large catalog of available cool moves, but this will not make the game easier, it will only balance it out. I think the full version could have an easier mode, but be prepared to die more than once and be careful when leveling up, and obtaining items; Of course if you are a fan of games that make you work hard to complete them, you will like this game<3. --Music: Again, they've really chosen the music well to set the scene or moment that takes place, capturing you and immersing you in the story. And the best thing is that you can tell that they choose each piece of music carefully, because if you replay with other choices, you'll notice different music depending on the choices, because music has soul, and they also give you foreshadowing while you enjoy the game and its story. --Art: We have not yet been able to enjoy this aspect in all its splendor as in the previous game, but I would say that it is a matter of time and patience (This is a Demo after all), but they still do not hold back from making beautiful scenarios to give you that feeling of immersion and that PDM is its own world. --Story: Again, if you don't like games with long stories, rich plots, that focus mostly on their characters, relationships, and dynamics; then this game is simply not for you, because this is the STRONGEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL POINT of this game, and it already starts from the first moment making it clear that the game is going to be SLOW, they are going to take their time in cooking up the plot and each character, building the tension, and letting you savor the mystery while sprinkling clues at you from time to time; and this is what makes this game so good<3<3<3<3. It really captures the essence of the original, with more shades of maturity and character growth of the Protagonist and Companion, in addition to several secondary characters that stood out in the original and prequel, but without losing that innocence that so characterizes the original PMD. If you are looking for something fast and light, you simply won't find it here. My only complaint is that the foreshadowing is very abstract and I had a hard time picking up on some of the clues, but maybe that's just me. --Characters: As always, they excel in this area, capturing the soul and essence and enriching it in an incredible way for each character, both official and original. If PDM shines it is without a doubt because of its characters, the pokemon, and this game is not afraid to make them shine even in their worst moments, making protagonists of characters that you would never have imagined, and I'm not just talking about legendary ones ; ) --Game vibe: This sequel starts off as a mystery, and a foreshadowing to a classic tragedy, even though we know it probably has a happy ending, but still the whole atmosphere feels "ancient" and "predestined" playing very well with its resources and taking full advantage of the narrative. Once you start, you just want to know how it will end in the end, even if it ends badly, and that's beautiful... Keep in mind that this is just a demo, and my opinion will probably change when the full game comes out, but for now, I think we're looking at one of the best sequels made for PDM. -- And that's it, I'm sorry it's been so long, I hope you're encouraged to play it, and I thank Canete16 for creating another masterpiece. Have a nice day<3

Special Episode 0 was already one of the best romhacks I've ever played and a great inspiration, so I was eagerly anticipating this release. And yet, Seven Symphonies met and surpassed all my expectations, in both story and gameplay possibilities. The decision to include multiple choices in the story was inspired and a great way to encourage players to replay the game multiple times and pay attention to the choices they make; adding the Divine Domains to integrate that decision-making into the gameplay, giving players a secondary route to cross a territory was a great choice as well, as it helps making the dungeons feel even more diverse. It is clear how much passion and love for the games there is inside every dialogue and character, I was even caught off guard by the reapparance of teams and characters that only get an appearance or two in Explorers but are given more importance here. The fact that the demo already is almost 7 hours long shows how big this romhack will be, and I personally am really keen to see the final result, it is really shaping up to be a game more than worthy of being the official sequel for Explorers of Sky <333 All my love and support for the team!!

Hello! I've been doing a playthrough using this mod and it has been amazing! Been using a Chespin and Popplio duo, definitely not the first duo that comes to people's minds. The quality of life additions such as the L+(button) to use moves faster while keeping it as vanilla as possible balances it out well! My sister helped me get the file to my phone so I could play it on the Super3DS Emulator wherever I go, though the in-game save keeps failing (thankfully the emulator itself can keep save states) so I'm not sure if that was because it was because of that, nor am unsure if future updates will work on said save due to the Emulator saving the previous version. But other than that, thank you for making this mod and can't wait to see what else you have in store! EDIT: Yeah, it was the wrong file in the wrong emulator, but I still enjoyed the experience to the end! I am curious though, if you do make a Dusk and Dawn Version, you could add all Pokèmon made as partner only back into starters and even add a couple new ones! Gligar, Sentret, Sneasel, Poochyena, Buizel, Stufful, Pawmi, Fidough, Nickit, Yamper, etc are a couple of picks for me!

Even if it's not finished nor perfect yet, the ideas behind it and the Implementation are great. I was looking for EoS hacks for a long time because I love what was doable for the mainline games. This right here is exactly the kind of romhack EoS needs to be the best version of itself and I hope it gets even better Great Work, keep it up.

Love the new Starter options! Though I would like to know how the PC's Aura colour/Aura Bow colour is determined in this mod?
    1 point
Hi! I really loved the new options for starters and partners, but I have a issue while playing with Eevee and H. Zorua. Echoed Voice don't work at all. Two messages appears "Can't use that diagonally" and "Can't use that here!".

The hack is very well done, but unfortunately I find it a bit too difficult and unfortunately there is only the option to save via the emulator. Unfortunately, the message Save failed appears in the game

Easier than expected! Most of the functions needed to modernize Pokemon Box. Region and completion restrictions are rediculous, and unnecessary. Ty for removing them. Hopefully you release updates to fix issues and add features.

Sorry, don't know where else to put this information: The "unkown" value under trainer info is actually a bit array (where a combination of 2^n values, or digits in binary, determine different properties) which impacts how smart the trainer's AI is, probably things like whether or not it can switch out in poor matchups. Found out the hard way that 128 (1000 0000) NEEDS to be raised in double battles, otherwise the trainer's pokemon attack each other. Many difficult trainers have a value of 7 (0000 0111) and a few have a value of 135 (1000 0111, which is 7+128), so it makes sense that 135 is the maximum intelligence setting.

To use the save file, open it with PKHeX and a bak file will be auto-created in the bak folder so they show up in the database. Drag and drop into box in PKHeX. They show up as legal. Very useful file thanks. almost 2000 pokemon added to database, can't find an illegal one, not stupid-overpowered.

Just had to review. Couldnt be more thankful for this program the only down side that im aware of is not being a legal checker for all generation pokemon unless there is a program already out there for it, as some moves are previous generation pokemon so sometimes when I make them there might be another move that its not meant to have as its really tedious to search up every detail, but I won't complain here as nonetheless this program is a huge shortcut itself and allows me to do what I need and recieve the pokemon I can't obtain since black and white I got rid of all my pokemon games so at the moment only have everything X&Y and onwards. Keep doing what you're doing best. also is there no way to have all wondercard pokemon already inserted in pkhex thats available here HG&SS and onwards you have my support and I'm sure everyone else that doesn't know where the origin of pkhex is from

Amazing! Has loads of Pokémon from ALL generations! A bit laggy at first due to the SHEER SIZE of files and its just so much! Its seriously insane! Then again, it may just be my PC... 28 files INCLUDING the Archive! Thanks for this! This has made life easier for me in S&M/ORAS!

5/5 Just enough water, healthy amount of land. But seriously, collection of Pokemon from every Pokemon game! Makes me wonder why people still even bother asking for living dex downloads! Seriously, this here is awesome, get it!

Thanks, @ Kaphotics The reason why i registered this account is to say "Thanks" to you. I am a PVP player. I am not willing to spend 1 second on catching/incubating a pokemon which has the correct nature/IVs/moves. Your tool "PKHex" help me to save huge amounts of time. Thanks again!

I am a big fan of the original games for the gamecube and because this rom hack is not too transformative I would say it is hard not to like it, I do like the increase in difficulty too. I know this is an early version of this rom hack so I didn't have the biggest expectations though I do wish there were more shadow pokemon added to it. I've already beaten Venus and I dont think I have encountered a single new shadow pokemon yet which is strange. Also I am not too much of a fan of the first 7 zones of Mt Battle being turned into easy exp grinding. I was personally quite a fan of the 100 round gauntlet. Lastly I would particularly enjoy if there were more quality of life changes, if you could manage some way to purify shadow pokemon earlier that would be quite nice. Though what is arguably a bigger problem I have with Colosseum is that actually purifying all of the shadow Pokemon is a huge pain. I assume that is part of the reason why Mt Battle is the way it is in this hack, but it feels like a relatively inelegant solution. If there was somehow a way to integrate the purification chamber from XD into Colosseum that would probably be the best way to deal with this, but I realize doing so might be quite the undertaking. It just really sucks having to either grind for hours in Mt Battle or having to spam every enemy in the game with shadow rushes until you get enough hyper modes to purify all of the Pokemon.

I am genuinely enjoying this, but the more that I play, the more I realize that this is still in beta form. Typings are not done properly. Muddy water just hit my meganium for super effective damage.

The randomizer doesn't convert properly, maybe it's something i did but i don't know. I put in the .nds file into the game and randomize it and it comes out as an unplayable File type, is there anyway to get it to convert into a .nds file so i can actually play my randomized copy?
