  1. I'm not sure if you meant all languages of perfect IV shiny channel Jirachi or all languages perfect IV Jirachi and all languages of a shiny Jirachi. As you probably know a perfect IV + Shiny Channel Jirachi is not possible, but here is the closest thing in every language: Download Zip with every language retrieval of this Jirachi: jir.zip I'm not sure if I'm using a gamefaqs save, as I found a save file online years ago, but I can guarantee you I did not play through this horrible game haha. Rant begin: even just going to redeem the different language Jirachis was unnecessarily complicated. It's not enough to redeem the Jirachi to the different language game, but you also have to go into the settings of the pokemon channel game, and change the language there as well. And if you try to change the language back after the Jirachi has been distributed, it crashes the game! And then besides the technical parts of this game being horrible, who was the sick f**k that thought of the aspects of this game. The pokemon being depressed and sad when certain things happen is like watching an interactive ASPCA commercial; not to mention it is almost always raining outside in the game (seriously where is the god damn sun!), and this game was a full price at launch??? For the USA Bonus disc all you need is a pokedex retrieved on your desired cartridge, you don't even need any progress in Colosseum, and it came free with Colosseum! Pokemon Channel requires a stupid amount of in-game progress, that your savefile has beaten the elite4, and spending $50-$60 to get the disc in the first place. Don't get me wrong I miss there being types of event distributions like this now-a-days, but I'm glad now the only way to get a pokemon for an entire continent doesn't revolve around a game like this./endrant

  5. In R/S/E, we can make our own secret base by using the secret power moves that can be teach to certain pokemon, so, do you like this secret base, did you decorate them? Discuss!! (^-^)

  6. I don't have time to RNG them but I would love a perfect IV and shiny channel Jirachi in each language (I think they were available in each EU language iirc?). If anyone would like to do it to contribute to our gallery, please do. I would very much appreciate it.

  7. @Gridelin do you have a Pokemon Channel save that can distribute the Jirachi? :3 Edit: Found a save from gamefaqs. Would still be good to get a save from pporg. Maybe it's time to get Colo/XD saves too

  10. You missed some dark blue on yanma (it shows up in a few frames) all in all pretty good tho

  11. To warm me up, I did some quick tests. The first five are quite passable: For M-Pinsir precisely, I wanted to make a slight retouch with the tool "brush" paint.net to remove a blue dot lost on the wings (to coloring in yellow): but it gives as result a gif that does not move more (it tells you my level of mounting). But for the next two, I planted myself (superficial gray on the wings for Beedrill and always blue for Yanma): Anyway thank you for your help and your detailed explanations

  12. They're only very few cases where language is actually checked.

  13. For starters: for reshiram, don't make the background white, cause that's it's body's main color (lol) for beedrill, replace the wings to a color which matches it's wings (can use the colored wing from bulbapedia, for example for Diancie, reduce fuzziness. For these images, I typically use lower fuzziness, and do multiple replacements. edit: @Ellicrum Here's a Diancie Example for you. and result: others that I've worked on (I'll add these to the respective Sprite Indexes later):

  18. My thoughts exactly. I think they learned from the RGBY VC launch that putting out the enhanced game would overshadow its original pairs.

  19. If they released crystal alongside gold/silver, everyone would buy crystal. So they probably wait for things to calm and then they'll release crystal.

  20. If its geard around charizard then you're definitely going to need a spinner. A good team mate in that regard is Hitmontop who'll happily take Rock typed attacks aimed at Charizard. Cloyster is another particularly good team mate who can take water typed attacks for charizard. Last but not least by any stretch is Starmie who does particularly well at taking on bulky waters and things like gyarados that could threaten charizard, in return charizard will eliminate bulky grassers. Scizor is a goo team mate as its slow U-turn allows for charizard to switch in for free, anything that baits Earthquake will also allow charizard a free switch in, too. Be aware that EQ is commonly paired with stone edge, so tread with caution. Please remember its your job to come to us with a team or a specific set(s) for us to critique or help with. We're not here to build your team for you.

  21. To expand in what wraith said there are also a number of places throughout the game that are significantly better than others for EV training. For instance, if you can find a cave with pretty much 100% Zubat that means for Speed training purposes you'll be wasting a lot less time. I'm not familiar with the new games and certainly haven't played then to any reasonable extent but I know Serebii has an amazing article on EV training and also lists locations to optimise said training.

  22. This is not the right forum to post this on, so I will move it. 1. Every Pokemon who participated in the battle will receive EV. That includes your Magikarp with the EXP Share. 2. Yes, some people would train a set of 6 new Pokemon, as EVs are kind of irrelevant for in-game purpose. Or... they shove a bunch of EV-reducing berries to "reset" the Pokemon back to 0 EVs so they can start clean once more. However, they would rather do this to Pokemon with the right nature and IVs rather than do it to their regular in-game Pokemon, who are far from "optimised" for battle, unless one was incredibly blessed with the right stats. 3. All EVs will add up by the time you are at Level 100. That is a total of max of 63 stat points per stat, as 255 is essentially the maximum. Just keep in mind that IVs and base stats ALSO take into effect. With Lillipup it is not too noticeable because it is only at its basic stage (especially during the early levels), even if Attack is its highest stat. If it becomes a Stoutland, you may notice the effect. Also, keep mind of EV enhancing items or Pokerus, the former which aids you into receiving extra EVs (Macho Brace doubles your EV growth), and the latter essentially doubling your EV gain. And yes, they stack.

  23. I was thinking Latios might be a little stupid with his moveset. Thunder is proberbly the most benefical at it can then KO other Water types and Flying types with Hurricane. Thanks for the advice,

  24. No offence, your opponents will be more surprised at the fact they were able to outspeed and kill your Genesect before it even attacked. You want to make use of Genesect's download, that is why 90% of them are scarfed and have U-turn, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt. The explosion can be kept in place of one of the special elemental attacks, I have used it in the past, and it works great as an unexpected wallbreaker. Shadow claw probably isn't very effective for Genesect and despite choice band, download and Genesect's naturally high attack, quick attack may disappoint you very often.

  25. You ought to specify when you make threads like this. PLEASE EDIT your post by placing in your friend code, game, rules, etc... This topic would otherwise be considered a spam. It's infuriating for me to look at a post like this after a long day, but I'll let it go for now. Remember to think about the people who will READ your posts. Say somebody wanted to battle... okay. How will they even do it when they don't know what you want or how to reach you?

  26. Pokémon: Yanmega Current Tier: UU Wished Tier: OU I'd like to make use of my rights as a human, to choose Yanmega for OU.. (Nevermind, it just matches, because in Germany are currently the choices for the new Federa Chancellor =D). So yeah, back to topic ^^ What the Hell is the reason for putting that big, scary, fucking speedy insect (i'm talking about Yanmega) to UU? Common, a SpAtk Stat of 361, a skyhigh speed after just one Speed Boost it is a threat which everybody has to fear. Even in OU is can cause so much havoc - Azelf, Infernape, Alakazam, Machamp, Celebi, Cresselia are just 6 which not want to face Yanmega, with its STABed Bug Buzz or Air Slash. With HP Ground even Heatran cannot stop it. And just remember it's Hypnosis move. Nobody wants to defeat one Pokémon, because it misses with a move. The only real Pokémon (all Tier) who can do something against this thing are Blissey and Relaxo, Skarmory, Registeel and maybe 3 or 4 more. With its not-to-bad defenses it should survive at least one neutral hit. It can switch in on any Eartquake, Grass Knot, U-Turn too, which are very common moves, to get a Speed Boost and then sweep. So yeah, i'll add now all points, that speak for putting Yanmega back to OU. ! Impressive SpAtk, skyhigh speed thanks to Speed Boost ! One Speed Boost is almost garanted, because of decent defenses / Protect / Substitute / Focus Sash ! Good type-coverage with Bug Buzz + Air Slash + HP Ground ! Hypnosis as a sleep inducing move ! Very useful switch-in-opportunities, e.g. in Grass Knot, Eartquake, U-Turn or Close Combat His only contra are really 4-time-weak to Stealth Rock and Hypnosis bad accurate. But with a Rapid Spinner the problem with Stealth Rock should be solved. Actually not really everybody has a Stealth Rock layer in his team too. So, i just can say: YANMEGA FOR OU. ___ Oh, and just short: Umbreon is too useless in OU, where Close Combats from Infernape 7 Heracross or other heavy physical hits are too strong for it. All a Umbreon can do is really it's role as a Toxic Staller or as a Trap Passer, but as a Toxic Staller in OU, where Steel-Types like Metagross, Jirachi or Skarmory are on the field, it really has not much success.

  27. Personally I think Umbreon is effective in the OU tier. I play OU a lot, and i find umbreon to be very helpful. massive def and spec def with good Hp learns payback which doubles in damage after being hit + stab. can learn toxic, which is useful on almost any pokemon. can learn substitute + moonlight which is great for stalling. when paired with infernape/blaziken and a psychic type its almost unbeatable because the only things umb has trouble killing are bug fighting and steel.

  28. Yes, Yanmega is easily revenge killed from the likes of Scizor or Lucario with their blasted priority attacks and with the right prediction, someone can get a free SD while Yanmega Protects. The lack of movepool also does hurt it, but I still cannot see it in UU. Perhaps the usage dropped because of the reduction of Hypnosis's accuracy? Back in DP I recall it being OU and people spamming it everywhere. Not to say Yanmega is uncounterable (Honchkrow seems to do well against Yanmega although it cannot take repeated STAB Air Slash or Bug Buzz) but it seems to be quite a force in UU, always taking down at least 1 Pokemon before it falls.
    1 point
  29. I've expected, that still some people don't want to let Yanmega in OU. But why? It is just scary in UU... And do you know the Reversaler Yanmega? If you use the right EVs (104 Atk, 252 SpA, 152 Spe) and a Liechi Berry, it can even annihilate Blissey/Relaxo in OU and Registeel / Steelix / Regice in UU, while still fire off powerful special moves. You must remember: I don't have anything against a Yanmega with Tinted Lens ability, but with Speed Boost, it is just scary.. which doesn't mean, i underestimate Tinted Lens Yanmega however. And to Umbreon: It doesn't matter to me, what happens with Umbreon at all, but in OU it just has not many chances to be effective. In UU it could at least try to Toxic one (because in UU there are not that common Steel-types like in OU Metagross, Jirachi, Magnezone, Forretress, Skarmory etc.) and stall him out. In UU there aren't THAT much Close Combats and importantly no Heracross, which can easily annihilate Umbreon.

  30. Actually it dropped in ranking because people weren't using it enough and with it being Stealth rock weak, shallow movepool and easily counter-able by priority users ( scizor/Lucario anyone? ) Which also means that with SS up and SR on the field, even if you switch in Yanmega, and then switch out to trap and kill scizor/Lucario, Yanmega is then useless. Which makes it a one shot pokemon. ( as a late game sweeper it functions extremely well, assuming you aren't faced against an End game Priority user. ) Its UU status also isn't definitive, however people still aren't using it so smogon can't really get any numbers and give it a clear tier standing. And until further large scale testing is posted I don't think anyone can really make that decision here. Posting one or two war stories about how you swept someones team with a yanmega does not give anyone a clear understanding/overview of Yanmega's ability . Even more so here as everything is about consistency . As for Umbreon, the abundance of Bug/Fighting attacks really makes it not that hard to counter. Umbreon breaking UU is a joke, however like yanmega it can be a potent force if used properly and is a decent UU option if you know how to use it properly.

  31. With a x4 weakness to rock plus the multilpe weaknesses Flying typing gives it, I don't see it having much hope outside of a lead Pokemon. It's offensive movepool is also fairly shallow. It's one of the many special sweepers that basically needs a good HP to round out a Specs set. Compare that to Starmie, Gengar, and others who can utilize HP, but don't rely on it.
    1 point
  32. Yes, multiple people here have treated Yanmega as BL/OU for a while. Thing is, does Umbreon mess up UU? That matters more then it failing in OU.
