  1. I'll get GS (cause of the serial code, and also why the hell not), and also wait for Crystal Partial Details, from test card: Species Silvally Nickname (default, save lang) OT Ilex TID 112199 Distribution Serial Code Location the Johto region Dates (unknown) PID Cannot Be Shiny Games SM USUM Lv. 30 Nature Random Ability RKS System (1) Item None Bundled Item None Souvenir Moves (ITALIC means Relearnable) Heal Bell Safeguard Ancient Power Future Sight WC ID 629: 「The Time Travel Pokémon Silvally」's receiving text 0x2C Thank you for playing Pokémon! Please pick up your gift from the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center. The Time Travel Pokémon Silvally Thank you very much for downloading Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver. Celebi, usually enshrined in Ilex Forest, has come traveling across time to join you! Interestingly, the flags on this event hints it allows USUM to receive it!

  2. They've programmed in the GB icon for 7 games, with Crystal fitting into that last slot perfectly. (or maybe Pokemon Stadium VC? I expect that to be on Switch, tho) Maybe Crystal will be half a year down the road. Never lose hope! Same, I've got a few saves ready XD

  3. Is there a confirmed event!? I haven't heard anything about that! Also! Thanks to a generous trade from @theSLAYER, I used my Silver save to convert a Korean Gastly into a Celebi using the coin case exploit. So when he is able to trade it back to his Korean save, we will have made both regular and shiny Korean gen 2 Celebi with Korean names. The first 2 of their kind.

  4. Coincidentally, I just made a Shiny Celebi Egg (using ACE) in ENG game, trade to KOR game, and hatched it there! (it's an idea inspired by my conversation with @HaxAras) In any case, I doubt any Celebi in Gen 2 VC at this point would transfer. Could try to make my OT Ilex and TID to be the same G5TID value as the upcoming event. We'll find out then ><

  5. Wow. I learn new things every day. So that Pidgeot I have been using on my first playthrough was exactly that, a fixed encounter. I did notice that i always encountered a Pidgey first. Cool info mate!

  7. From September 22, 2017 to September 21, 2018 if you buy one of the VC releases of either Pokemon Gold or Silver, you'll get a one-use serial code to redeem it on your Gen VII game. In addition, you'll also get a 3DS Home Menu theme of your version if you make the purchase before January 15th in North America, December 31st 2017 in Europe or September 28th 2018 in Japan. 8. I had obtained the knowledge of npower's existence from extremely old forum posts from google which I lost the bookmark for. Firstly some trade threads had traded it successfully and on bulbapedia I found this: https://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2009691&l=db676&id=1063182054 I found it here: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Talk:List_of_Nintendo_event_Pokémon_in_2008 It appears to be a photo album from the event, and in it there is pics of the wondercard being received. It was not announced, but was distributed. Some unsubstantiated rumors claim it was unofficial, but IMHO at the time WC hacks were uncommon. Not to mention districts carts were unavailable at the time. Can we add the images and WC of the npower to the gallery? There is also a YouTube link at: This should validate it.

  9. This is potentially great news! How are people viewing these test wonder cards? i'm guessing it's something to with the mystery gift servers? https://manatails.net/blog/2016/03/hacking-pokemon-6th-gen-mystery-gift-server/ or mystery machine: http://mys.salthax.org/ ? As for the VC games I've already pre-ordered the boxed version of the Gold and Silver (yes I want an empty box to sit with my other games ) I'll be restoring my original Gold save dumped from my cartridge then playing though Silver!

  10. Well that's surely positive news. I sure hope there will be an easily accessible VC Celebi event, and for all regions. Not like the mess with VC Mew. Edit: I probably didn't word that correctly and made it more confusing, but my train of thought was hopefully this supposed Gen 7 Celebi bundle with the VC GS would further imply an actual VC Celebi as well. But the more I think about it, I don't even know if that makes much since.

  11. @theSLAYER You know I've grown attached to the rainbow sherbet Cresselia. Thanks. I can try the shiny one later too. @Got_Eevees Thanks. But just pick another mon to work on. It was an accident on behalf of BlackShark anyhow. Or just see if you can finish the Celebi's frames.

  12. I'm just testing if the glow make any differences (in terms of visibility) That Cresselia you've done is really nice! Good luck with your Bible exam! Species Cresselia Nickname (default, save lang) OT (TBA) TID (recipient) Distribution TEST Location Dates PID Cannot Be Shiny Games Lv. 100

  13. Not a problem mate. I knew you had to be asleep anyways. I found a 110+ frame one without the glow, and I was already doing the 78 one you sent removing all the blues. But it seems you wanted the glow on it, so I can do that when I have time later. I actually have a Bible exam to take. It should not be hard for me, so I can get to that afterwards.

  14. Hope it's shiny. I know it's not shiny-locked in-game, but still..

  15. According to @SciresM and Mysterygiftbot a Silvally event (card test 0629) is gonna appear soon.

  16. Seems to be the case. I've seen that Pidgey bypassing randomizers when static encounters are not changed.

  17. No, it's not a false illegal check result; Emerald has two pairs of Lati@s encounters. One has a fateful encounter, while the other does not. The one without is checked first, which fails because the PIDIV is invalid for that encounter. It then checks the other encounter (with fateful), which also fails the PIDIV check. Since there are no more possible static encounters, the program will continue on assuming that the final encounter was hacked, then checks the ancillary attributes. There is no correct encounter match, thus it keeps the last tested encounter to finish up with.

  18. I would rather encourage them to use PKHeX instead.

  19. The purpose of this thread is to discuss, document and make public the resources available for RNG manipulation in Gen 7. Gen 7 RNG manipulation Ressources: RNG Calculators: wwwwwwzx's SMEncounterRNGTool Quandra’s PokemonSunMoonRNGTool For Mac users, jasenyoface has kindly made available a Wine bundle (v2.10a) for Quandra’s calculator, which can be downloaded here. NB.: You will require a timer for stationary and gift pokemon RNG manipulation. For Windows users, EonTimer is recommended. As another alternative, both Windows & Mac users can use emtimer (jap.). ***NEWS*** A port of wwwwwwzx's SMEncounterRNGTool and Quandra's PokemonSunMoonRNGTool is curently in development for web browsers. This will allow almost any device with a browser to run these calculators. It’s being developed by the same people who made pokeCalcNTR. You can access the project’s official GitHub link here. Other useful RNG manipulation tools: pokeCalcNTR is an overlay plugin that allows the user to view in real-time IVs, Nature, Seed, frames and much more in Sun & Moon. Plans are being made to make it compatible with Gen 6 as well. Do note however that in order to run this plugin you will require CFW, FBI and NTR Selector to be installed on your console. Also, you will need to have your copy of Sun or Moon on the latest firmware 1.1 in order for pokeCalcNTR to properly display the initial seed and current frame (otherwise “initial seed" will incorrectly be stuck on 0 while frames will remain fixed on a given number). Tutorials & other links of interest: This post shall be updated as new tools and ressources are made available.
