  7. In less than 24 hours time (EDT), the Indiana Convention Center will be filled with local and international Trainers as well as eager Spectators ready to kick off this year’s North American International Championships. While Competitor registration ended this past Wednesday, Spectators are still welcome to register online until July 2 at 1 p.m. The event will run from June 30 to July 2, 2017. Quoted as being one of the largest Championships this year, there is an estimated cash pot of $200,000 between TCG and VGC respectively. Competitors can also appreciate the Championship Points that they may receive this weekend as it will be their last opportunity to obtain any before the 2017 World Championships. If you’re unable to attend but still interested in watching the events of this weekend unfold, there will be periodic live streams available at pokemon.com/live. Have fun, Trainers! UPDATE: Results of the North American Internationals Master Division Final Senior Division Final Junior Division Final Check out the winning teams: Christopher Kan Alfredo Chang-Gonzalez Nicholas Kan Source: pokemon.com Related: View full article

  9. Worlds did it too, but I assumed that was just because they didn't want to promote it after closing it off to spectators. This doesn't really make any sense at all.

  10. I agree that it's messed up, IIRC Worlds '16 did this BS as well. With that being said, be prepared for an unexpected Pokemon distribution at Anaheim in August for Worlds '17. smh

  11. Without even announcing it? And then.....the poster doesn't even look official or they were very lazy this year. Creadits to soulwyvern who shared these images on a reddit post .

  12. Hello. I have managed to extract the Stadium 2 GS JPN Satoru Iwata debuggers pokemon out of the "POKEMON STADIUM G&S.fla" file in the downloads section, and I have zipped the pk2/jpk2 files up. I also have bundled a JPN save file of Pokemon Gold that has the pokemon in the first box, while the second box has them, plus the JPN crystal debuggers pokemon and unofficially migrated copies of the Japanese RGBY Debuggers pokemon such as the Exeggutor that belonged to Ishihara-san, and the first programmed Rhydon, which is the first programmed pokemon. I have included the cleverly named JP gold save, and the zip with the new stadium 2 debug pokemon. If all are counted, it fills 27 pokemon, leaving room for the undumped Japanese variants of the unreleased trades in yellow. Make sure to use the latest PKHEX and 7Zip. Also, use trunc.exe (found by googling) to truncate the save to 32,816 32,767, 32,768, 65,536 or 65,535 (YMMV for emulators) to use the pokemon. (They may not obey.) Best Regards, St. GIGA stadium2JPNDebuggerspkmn.zip Ishiwata.sav JPNDEBUG.zip

  13. I'm saying it's legal because, GEN III trading wasn't region locked. Technical wise, that means importing that exact Mew into your Gen III (of any language) using PKHeX wouldn't be a problem. Anyhow, Pokemon's original language and game are already stored starting from Gen III, so even after you transfer it all the way up to Gen VII, Using PKHeX to check the data, will still (correctly) display that it's Japanese and from Pokemon Emerald. Example, using my own Faraway Mew: [This data exists, even when it may not be normally seen in game]

  20. Hey guys, keep and eye out if there's a pre-release event a.k.a early screening which distributes the local movie Pokemon ahead of the public release date (happened since Hoopa back 2 years ago).

  21. How is it going, mates? Hope everyone's doing amazing! As you can tell, I'm new to this place -despite knowing about it for quite some time now; it's always been on the back on my mind, but I could never find the time to properly introduce myself and make an account here- and I'm looking forward to meeting you all See ya around!

  22. Actually it is possible to force Marowak to be a catchable Pokemon. If you take a look at the script with a script editor like PKSV you will find these lines that initiate the battle: battle MAROWAK 30 NONE special BATTLE_UNCATCHABLE As you can see there's a special command that literally makes it uncatchable (iirc I've seen this command called BATTLE_GHOST somewhere else). In the ROM this special command is "25 56". This Marowak is a special encounter so I looked how other static encounters were initiated. Like Articuno: battle ARTICUNO 50 NONE ... special BATTLE_PIXELLATE BATTLE_PIXELLATE special command is "25 38" in the ROM. So I replaced the special from Marowak with the one of Articuno and I was able to actually catch her! You can't get past her though, the battle will just start again if you try. I think the game is waiting for the BATTLE_UNCATCHABLE command here... Here are some AR codes to modify the script. I haven't seen anything weird happening besides the fact that you can't get past her. Better keep a backup of your save and use at your own risk though! 23. @Johnwraight & @Purin as far as I could tell, based on me fiddling around with it just now, Rosalina doesn't support native ram dumping without connecting computer running the debugger. (which is minimally what we need, in order to dump Local Wireless or Infrared events)
