Pokémon core series save editor, programmed in C#. Supports the following files: Save files ("main", *.sav, *.dsv, *.dat, *.gci) GameCube Memory Card files (.raw, .bin) containing GC Pokémon savegames. Individual Pokémon entity files (.pk*) Mystery Gift files (.pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc*) including conversion to .pk* Importing teams from Battle Videos Transferring from one generation to another, converting formats along the way. Data is displayed in a view which can be edited and saved. The interface can be translated with resource/external text files so that different languages can be supported. Pokémon Showdown sets and QR codes can be imported/exported to assist in sharing. We do not support or condone cheating at the expense of others. Do not use significantly hacked Pokémon in battle or in trades with those who are unaware hacked Pokémon are in use. FAQ Support Forum <-- Post here if you have questions or found bugs

  2. Following our recent hack, we’ve finally restored our infrastructure: the forums have been migrated to IP.Board, and we’ve brought back the wiki. Special thanks to our entire administration team, @xorhash, and @ReignOfComputer for helping to set things up. Invision Power Board Invision Power Board (IP.Board, IPB) is a state-of-the-art forum software with a better security reputation than vBulletin, which we used to use. As vBulletin 4 approached EOL and clearly showed its age, we were considering how to proceed: with vBulletin 5 or something else entirely. The choice, as you can clearly see, has been made. Some of you have already asked why we didn’t choose the software du jour XenForo. This is due to a few reasons: peer, our new technical administrator, has worked with XenForo in the past and repeatedly hit its (and peer’s) limits. We had an IP.Board license readily available, whereas we’d have had to purchase XenForo separately. Looking at the track record of vBulletin for security, and seeing how XenForo is mostly the old vBulletin guys starting a new project, there were security concerns. If you have any questions about using Invision Power Board, please create a thread in the Forums Feedback forum. Staff Changes Due to concerns in real life, @Alpha has decided to no longer be the primary administrator. This means he’ll still be around, but will be less active than usual. We thank him for his hard work maintaining Project Pokémon, and his absence is a loss to Project Pokémon. Helping to fill his place will be myself and @peer, who is our new technical administrator. Furthermore, we’d like to announce the promotion to super moderator for @Kaphotics, @SciresM, and @theSLAYER. Data Loss The hackers deleted a large quantity of data, including some of our more recent backups. As a result, we have lost one year of forum attachments and a up to a few hours of forum posts. The good news is that @theSLAYER, our event moderator, has stockpiled generations of events and several programs, so the situation could have been far worse. @peer is looking into setting up automatic offsite backups to prevent this from happening again. Hashed passwords are still in the wild. We strongly encourage you to immediately change your passwords here and everywhere you’ve used the same passwords. While hashed passwords are not supposed to be reversible (i.e. your password shouldn’t be able to be derived from the hash), vBulletin’s hashing algorithm is very weak, making it that much more important you change your passwords. The Future Let’s not let the data loss get us down; it’s time to move forward. With the recent release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, there still cool things to discover, technical details to be researched, and ROM hacks to be created. (Not to mention there’s some cool stuff going on in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon side of things - more on this later.) As a reminder, the User-Submitted News forum was introduced a few weeks ago to help bring attention to things such as updates to Save and ROM editors, ROM hacks, and other cool stuff worthy of the front page. If you know of anything noteworthy, post it there so it has a chance to be seen by all! Closing Statements We would like to, once more, apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our staff, create a thread in the appropriate feedback forum, or ask in our IRC channel.

  3. Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your events moderator and forum manager here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their contributions and co-operation thus far! How To Contribute: Wondercard file (WC7/WC7FULL) Extractions can be done via PKHeX or using NTR method (recommended, especially for local events) Requirements for such contribution: 1. DO NOT SUBMIT EDITED/HACKED/FAKE WONDERCARDS 2. Photos of redemption, with proof of user identity (some card with your username) 3. Context: ie. Self obtained? Location? Was it crowded? Collection Process etc. Upcoming and Missing Events: Please do not submit Powersaves extracted entries. edit: table removed. We'll update when we see something. Event Files: Our individual files can be found at our on-site Event Gallery! If you know how to download files from Github (not sorted by region), an overall archive can be found here on our git page. I regularly move old posts to another thread, to prevent cluttering of this thread.

  5. Here's a list of the more prominent save editors out there. If something's not right or if something should be up there but isn't, let us know! Main Series PKHeX (Gen 1 to 7) The crown champion of save editors, this handles saves from every generation. Comes with in-built legality checking, mystery gift and trainer editing, among other things. Some niche values like underground flags in DPPt (Gen 4) aren't available, and you'll need to fall back on PokeSav for those. PokeGen (Gen 4 to 5) One of the leading save editors of its time, PokeGen focuses more on editing Pokemon data. PokeSav (Gen 4 to 5) Before PKHeX there was PokeGen, and before PokeGen there was PokeSav. Back in my day, UI wasn't something worth investing in! Some niche functionality like underground editing is still unique to PokeSav, though. PKX Delta (Gen 1 to 3) If you need to load Gen 1 to 3 data created by a legacy tool like PikaSav or A-Save, you'll have to fall back on PKX Delta. pk2pk (Gen 3 to 6) Allows for the migration of Pokemon from Gen 3/4/5 to 4/5/6. PKMDS Code Library (Gen 3 to 6) For other developers, this is a code library to help you get started. Currently supports Gen V and limited portions of Gen III / VI. Online Pokemon Database (Gen 3 to 6) The PokeCheck of today. Upload Pokemon from Gen 3 to Gen 6, manage them, and view their legality. Rhydon Save Editor (Gen 1) Save editor for RBY. PkmGCSaveEditor (Gen 3) Save editor for Colosseum and XD. Allows converting between main series games. Trigger's PC (Gen 3) A "Legit-Use" Everything Bank and Save Manager for Gen 3. Mystery Gift Tool (Gen 3) Nintendo Events, Wondercards, e-Trainer cards and e-Berry editor. Mirage Island Finder (Gen 3) For finding Mirage Island in RSE. Feebas Fishing Spot Finder (Gen 3) This tool allows to see the Feebas fishing spot seed in a Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire or Emerald savegame. PPSE-DS (Gen 4) Save Editor that runs ON the DS! Runs off Flashcarts and edits the save without the need for a PC. Generation 5 Save Tool (Gen 5) Multipurpose save game editor. Can edit the Entralink, Medals, Memory Link, Join Avenue, and Hidden Grotto. Download Tournament Editor (Gen 5) Tool to edit downloadable Pokemon World Tournaments in Gen 5. Pokestar Pokemon Enabler (Gen 5) Editor for B2W2 to modify Pokestar Studios Pokemon and the Hall of Fame. PKMDS G5 PC Storage Sorter (Gen 5) As an example of what the aforementioned code library can do, this tool sorts your entire Gen 5 PC in National Dex order. WC6Full Creator (Gen 6) Application to dump full Wondercard data from saves. Pokemon Link Tool (Gen 6) Allows dumping and injecting of Pokemon Link data for XYORAS. Spin-off Series Sky Editor (PMD: Various) and Sky JEditor (Java Port) Save Editor for many Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games (not the 3DS ones though). Pokemon Ranger Mission Injector Supports Shadows of Almia and Guardian Signs. Tools whose features are already present in a newer tool are listed below:

  6. Magearna's event is not a wondercard, there's nothing to extract -- it's actually a hardcoded in-game event. Here're some QR codes, though: Legitimate US QR code: Legitimate JP QR code: Legitimate EU/AU QR code:

  7. Hey trigger_death, since the tool is about legitimacy, how about changing the event distribution to the actual official events? Of course, non-jap Old Sea Map would still be non-legit, but injecting the wondercards/event for the other ones? And how about e-reader stuff? Berries and trainers are dumped, ready to be injected to savegame. Also, what about feebas fishing spot (since you check for mirage island)? I'm just suggesting stuff that would make this great tool even better imho.

  8. So i will add a few word of my own regarding the recent changes and happenings. I gotta say, getting the news about the site being hacked was quite the shock. I got messaged the same day Sun/Moon were released so with what i can only describe as a bitter taste in my mouth i started playing the new games and thinking about the memories i had here over the past years. I left this place some years ago, but i always came by to check on things knowing the site is still up, and so are my friends here. One never appreciates something until it's taken away from them. All those moments i've shared with people here were suddenly gone by some hacker group. Ironic isn't it? Regardless of their efforts, PP has risen from the ashes and like a phoenix has breathed new life to our community. I am quite happy things are back to normal, and rather, better than before. The new design of the forums will take getting used to, but i'd like to remind people that it's something that had to be done in order to get things running again and to be safer than before. I welcome the change. Thank you to the team that helped bring back everything! It's with a heavy heart that @Alpha is stepping down, but i wish him the best in his future. And congratulations to the newly promoted staff of our site/community! With these words aside - GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK PROJECT POKEMON!

  9. Normally, we have a first-come first-served policy regarding usernames, but since that account had 0 content and was only online briefly when the site was founded, we made an exception. Have fun with your new username.

  10. Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your (hopefully) friendly moderator here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their contributions and co-operation thus far! I've decided to have a fresh start for the contribution thread; hopefully more people will read this post, before they post Golden Rules on what is allowed on this thread: Contribution of events from users Pointing out whether said posted event(s) is legal or faked <The only discussion allowed here> Contribution of information regarding other events already posted or event missing from database Strictly no begging and no requests. Want to hype? Go to our Discussions and FAQ thread! HOW TO CONTRIBUTE! 1. Pokemon Link Extractions Dumping and injecting can be done via PKhex 2. Wondercard file (WC6) Extraction can be via Pkhex or using NTR method (recommended, especially for local events) Requirements for such contributions: 1. DO NOT SUBMIT EDITED <or faked> WONDERCARDS, or Wondercards from Private Servers <if you do not know what this is, don't ask> 2. Attach your wondercard in a .zip or .rar file, and upload onto our system while posting. 3. Submit a full video starting from the booting up of your device, and show the event location + receiving of the Pokemon MISSING WONDERCARDS! Please do not submit Powersaves extracted entries. Event Compilation Our individual files can be found at our on-site Event Gallery! If you know how to download files from Github (not sorted by region), an overall archive can be found here on our git page. 11. At the behest of @greenDarkness I have created a patch for Pokemon : Gale of Darkness which splits the moves between physical and special as in gen 4. Everything else has been left unchanged as much as possible. Shadow moves will keep the same category as in the original and regular moves are based on their categories in the later games. Apply the patch to a clean ISO of Pokemon : Gale of Darkness. If tsukuyomi doesn't work, try NUPS. Enjoy! _phys_spec_split.ups

This is such a great tool. It helps people with "life" actually enjoy the game and play competitive.

  13. I'm not sure how Sun/Moon work data wise, but to ensure your Pokemon are legal you can go through extra effort. Like for breedable Pokemon, make a perfect ditto and perfect mon, then breed them, and the resulting egg should be fine (it's like a 1/6 chance to get what you want, depending). I don't know if that level of work is necessary though. I recently registered to ask a similar question about whether doing something like editing a nature will result in a legal Pokemon, so I figured I would post here. EDIT: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Personality_value I found this page to be useful. It seems nature is its own seperate byte, so if you take a legitimate pokemon and edit its nature, it'll still be legal.

  15. Programming in features takes time; supplemental features are very low priority and I don't see adding those features as a worthwhile use of my time. PKHeX is open source so anyone can expose those with a Pull Request on GitHub.

  16. If you could test a few more Pokemon it may confirm the theory. But in any case as long as this thread isn't for bypassing Pokemon hack checks, it should be okay to proceed.

  18. I think Pkhex assessment is correct: Salandit can only first get Fake Out from Squirtle or Scraggy, but both are unobtainable legitimately at this point in Sun/Moon, hence why it's not legal. It is possible to be an oversight by whoever maintains the whitelist, or all egg moves (while impossible at this point in time) are also on the whitelist.

  20. Since I started playing Pokemon again and using Triggers PC for shiny hunting, I've encountered a few things I felt like making notes of here. Shiny eggs being noticed when they're stored in Triggers PC. I did an auto search for shiny eggs and it found all the ones I had stored in Triggers PC. Was that un-intentionally added back in? I have clones of all my eggs that I've hatched shiny still as eggs so now Triggers PC alerts me every time I start it back up. Active and Inactive save files Since I can no longer store eggs in HaxAras' PC in the tool, I store them on a spare GameFAQ's ruby save. I have to constantly add and remove it. It would be really awesome to have active and inactive saves so we wouldn't have to remove them but they wouldn't factor in shiny eggs or mirage island. I'm assuming most of the Mirage Island matches I get are duds because they're just save states from GameFAQ's. Removing Pokemon from the Daycare Would it ever be possible to pin saves? I add and remove saves all the time and when I have say Emerald and Pokemon Box open, then update my saves. It puts them all back to the default and I have to manually switch them myself. Searching for Pokemon and Items A CTRL + F style searching option would be helpful. I was trying to search all my saves for items and Pokemon. Usually it's an item but when I have to type F Fl Fl 5 times to find flute, it gets tedious. Other times I search something like "Hy, Hy, H, H, H" trying to find Hyper beam." Finding TM's is damn-near impossible. I have to manually scroll. I encountered it with A-save as well, in the short time I was using that. Hopefully my tone doesn't come off wrong. I just really, really hate those drop down search things. Shiny Egg Results could show me the save file. I encounter this often. I use HaxAras everywhere. It may not be my legal name (Yet) but I don't let anybody call me anything different. So Naturally, all of my save files are HaxAras. This can be kinda annoying when I get that wonderful "You have a shiny egg" message. And then it says "Emerald: HaxAras" and I die a little inside as I have to sort through 15 Emerald saves with the OT: HaxAras. I'm not a programmer but I can't imagine it would be too hard. When you click on manage saves, it shows you the file location of the save. When you click on "Show results" it shows you the specific egg. If I could see the file location or the surrounding saves in the tool, it would be incredibly helpful. I have about 50-60 saves now to maximize chances of getting shiny eggs. Even an ID number of the save would be incredibly helpful. Could not activate the bike event Couldn't activate the Bike event but I could activate all of the others. I used A-save editor to insert the bike but it showed me having 0 key items instead of 2. Rydel asks where my bike is and mentioned me depositing it. Despite that not being possible. ------------------------------- This was a strange one. I have a GameFAQ's save that only has 1 key item and has beaten the Elite 4. When I tried to use your tool to give me both bikes so I could hatch an egg quicker, it didn't have the option. When I used A-save editor, I think Triggers PC said I had 0 key items instead of 1 or 2. When I went to Rydel to switch bikes, hoping the game might just give me the other, he asked what happened to it and gave me dialogue about putting it in the PC. Despite that not being possible! View multiple status windows When the window is maximized, let me view multiple status windows. (OT, ID, Ev's and IV's, Moves, etc.) Basically, like when you maximize Triggers PC you can expand to 3 windows or saves of Pokemon, spread the stats windows as well. Being able to view all of the above mentioned stats would be super helpful. Another thing that would be an amazing time saver is a side by side stats comparison between 2 Pokemon. Focus on a save I notice when I click focus on a save in the second or third row, Triggers PC still shows me the items and Pokemon in Triggers PC or the topmost save. trigger_death, I haven't talked to you in a while. Hopefully you're doing well. Thank you again for this amazing tool you've created. It's been unimaginably invaluable to me. I hope to continue using it for years to come, providing my thoughts and ideas for you to decide on what to use. I'll continue to report any bugs, glitches and strange occurrences as I find them. (I'll also try to find that Emerald save with the missing key items so you can look it over yourself.) Edit: Removing saves Another thing that's been driving me crazy lately. If you mess up and click on "remove save" no matter what you click on afterward when it asks to confirm (Yes, no, X) it removes the save anyway.

  22. Important Update Regarding Local Events: Data isn't at Boss 0x08000000. Likely to be in Sango-1 or Sango-2 process (displays as either 1 or 2, both doesn't occur at same time, around process 0x002x range), at unknown offset (likely to be 0x08000000) Now, the write up on how to obtain WC6full at Local Events: (providing me these dumps will help to determine the legitimacy of the event) edit: I've yet to test this out at any local event, but I know it works for Internet and serial code events, and should also work, cause it's the same in-game collection process.
