Ok, so I'm trying to code in correct trash bytes for this shiny mew (Japanese)...I can get the Name's Pal Park bytes, but OT seems to NEVER work. The OT Name is "ミモ" Is there something wrong with the Characters or the name? Because the programs never fail. So please, if anyone can help I would looooooove you! P.S. I used TrashBytes.exe and Legal.exe but it doesn't help, still get Invalid TBs.

Unfortunately with school and work, I do not have time to do trash bytes by myself. If someone is willing to do trash bytes, this is how it needs to be done: Take the platinum game (not english or japan, those are done), and use a hex editor to modify the ROM (.nds file). Each GBA game has a 4 character code, ending with its language, E, J, G, F, etc. Find the code that corresponds to your GBA game. Lets say the game is sapphire and yours is English, then look for sapphire but under the language of the platinum game you are using. In the hex editor you will see a list of GBA games in text, so simply change that language to the language of yours. Example: If yours is AQAE, but you are doing french which is AQAF, then change AQAF to AQAE everywhere in the ROM. Next keep a sav file for platinum which we will refer to as "before". Then pal park 6 pokes, and use pokesav to extract them from the sav. Then put the before sav file back in, and pal park 6 more. Repeat 5-10 times to load up 30-60 pokes for each language. Please make sure to list them as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 indicating the slot they were in within the pal park. I would appreciate anyone who has time to do this to please help me so I can add it to Legality! Thanks!

Hi, I have Pokemon Sapphire Original cartridge and R4 with Pokemon Platnum(which I also own legaly. Whenever I palpark something from sapphire, the trash bytes are shown as invalid. The pokemons I palpark are 100% legal and untouched from sapphire. The same applies when I palpark on my CycloDS, the trash bytes are shown as invalid, no matter what pokemon I palpark. I just palpark on my R4/CycloDS because I have lots of rare candies so I can level them up easily after EV training. Is there any way to fix it? I dont want to be seen as hacker when my Pokemons are actually legaly breeded and palparked. If there is any way to fix it, please let me know. Thanks ---------- Post added at 01:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:54 PM ---------- By the way, it doesnt even get fixed after running through trashbyte fixer.

Hi there! I am planning to use Pokesav to re-EV some of my Pokémon (they're level 100). I am aware that editing them will make their trash bytes come up as hacked if they're a hatched, Pal Parked or event Pokémon. I’d love to be able to edit them and fix their trash bytes afterwards. Sabresite's trash byte normalizer looks like just what I'd need, however I can't get it (or the legality checker) to work. When I save a Pokémon file, drag and drop it over either the tb normalizer or the legality checker I get this: http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o22/Sim9/shot1.jpg Clicking ok creates this weird file as seen here, above trashbytes.exe (seviper.pkm): http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o22/Sim9/shot2.jpg I can't seem to do anything with that file. If I try to open the file, I get this: http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o22/Sim9/shot3.jpg I'm aware that it’s possible to edit a Pokémon’s trash bytes in a hex editor, but I can’t find where 0x48 to 0x5D (where the trash bytes are) are here: http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o22/Sim9/shot4.jpg (By the way, the Seviper in the Pokémon file hasn’t been modified in any way. It’s Pal Parked from Emerald.) I have searched all over the internet, these forums and Project Pokémon’s site, but have not been able to find anything which solves my problems. The ideal for me would be to be able to edit my Pokémon on Pokesav and be able to fix their trash bytes afterwards, preferably via a trash byte normalizer, or otherwise via a hex editor. Would anyone be able to help me? Sim

Hello, I'm having issues with trash bytes. I recently made a shiny Armaldo. I want it to be fully legal. It is Pal Parked. I haven't tested how the fossils work in R/S, and I intend to soon, but for now, just help me with the Trash Bytes, something I don't understand how to fix. armaldo.pkm

If a Pokemon is obtained by a hacked wondercard but legitimatly soft resetted for, would the trash bytes show up as invalid?
-
As I said in my intro, I learned VB Express in school, and did really well. I decided to try to make a pokemon program. Anyways, I got up to displaying the OT, but I'm lost now. I know where the OT is in regards to the offset, but I'm stumped how I would convert it. For one, I have no clue what it converts to, maybe Unicode or ASCII. So if someone could help me with that, I'd be grateful.

Whenever i use pokesav to make a pal parked pokemon, the legality checker says that my trash bytes are invalid, does it mess up because i might have put wrong class or hidden hex values? i dont know why my trash bytes show up as invalid. Could someone please help?

Do I have to normalize trash bytes for hatched pokèmon?
-
I recently made these 2 Pokemon and was wondering if I made any errors with them. Could some of you guys out there check over them for me? They're made to look like they were Pal-Parked to Platinum, by the way. Also, I know they have invalid Trash Bytes. I can't use the Normalizer on Mac, so could someone also run them through the Normalizer for me? It would help greatly. Thanks, guys. Def. Articuno.pkm SD Moltres.pkm
