    "Link trade" only ever appears when you trade an EGG from one save to another. All others will have the location and have "Apparently encountered at lvl whatever" The exception, of course, would be trading from HGSS to Sinnoh games, where it's just a general Faraway Place ro something like that.

    Nothing prevents you from trading them via local or Wi-Fi. It jsut prevents it from being traded on the GTS.

    Some people swear up and down that there is a way to Tweak to get to the Hall of Origin and capture Arceus. I personally don't believe it, mainly because this is the first I'm hearing about it and D/P is 4 years old. I'm guessing no. Because unlike Darkrai and Shaymin, which are present on their islands in D/P meaning you can just walk-through-walls/tweak to get there, Arceus needs to be summoned at Mt Coronet with the Azure Flute. Then a staircase forms and you run up that staircase and THEN Arceus will be there. In Plat, this was changed so that all 3 Pokemon won't appear unless the item is specifically received via Mystery Gift. If you hack the Key Item directly onto your item bag, it won't work. Which means the islands Shaymin and Darkrai are on are empty until the event is activated.

    There's an Intro guide either in this forum or in the Competitive Battling Discussion forum. Smogon has an introduction + handy dictionary on their site. That's the fan-made metagame. What's also popular is VGC rules, which change periodically. They play Doubles, they tend to ban event exclusive Pokemon, and have some other odd rules thrown in.

    There's only one set of rules 90% of people who play Shoddy/Pokemon Lab/Pokemon Online play by.. With your set of no-rules-anything-goes, what prevents someone coming at you with a team of Kyogre, Dialga, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, etc... etc... it means stuff like your Pikachu have no chance at all. Your EV spreads seem to be completely random and serve no real purpose at all. Most Pokemon only have 1-3 stats that are even worth investing EVs in. I can't rate your team really because hey, it's your standard random PBR-ish team. I just think it'll be hard for you to find a battle on a battle simulator since almost everyone plays with some type of structured rules, whereas you aren't.

    I'm torn between re-directing you to the In-Game RMT thread we have (or used to have, anyway) or really trashing your team. You're free to, of course, play without tiers. But the fact is, most people battling on simulators (and in my experience, even on Wi-Fi) like tiers and what's generally accepted as standard rules because it gives some sort of structure. Otherwise you just get the same dozen or so ubers running around, and no one else even has a chance of being remotely useful.

    I'm not speaking for Bond, but Seismic Toss is a move tutor move from Gen 3, and I'm not even sure if he owns a Gen III game.

    Celebi is probably impossible to get shiny. The recent wondercard event, like all wondercards released except for the limited pre-set shiny ones, are impossible to get a shiny Pokemon from. The bonus disc Celebi and 10 ANIV Celebi of 3rd gen have rumors of possible shiny, but it's hard to actually confirm those rumors. My understanding, and it's a very bad understanding, is that event Pokemon of Gen III had very little that set them apart from event Pokemon of Gen 4. Both in visual clues such as the Classic Ribbon and all the hidden hexidecimal crap and stuff like that.

    You're doing something wrong. Please see arhacker's thread, which is linked at the end of the second post on the first page. In ARhacker's thread, he has a detailed visual guide that walks you through step by step. I've never "tested" the connection at the wireless configuration setup, so I wouldn't even bother doing that.

    If it functions anything like the ARDS, games do not go "in" the AR. You put the AR in, then take it out and put the game in and choose the codes to activate and all that. You really should call Datel.

    That isn't "skipping". It just means someone else is connecting when you are so while your individual downloads might not be in perfect order, the server is distributing them in perfect order.

    Don't tease, just post it. You don't have to post pkm files, but it helps so people can send it to themselves later even if you are no longer actively hosting it anymore.

    Then you're doing something wrong. The IRC client on the site is working fine. I'd suggest using that if you can't figure out how to get your IRC client on your computer to work. This isn't a thread for help.

    There's 9 pages of stuff I haven't bothered checking in quite a while. Basically, what I'll do is I'll accept any contribution as long as the user says they caught it themselves, collect everything into one big .zip, re-launch a new forum topic for Gen 3 and 4 in-game stuff to fill in missing slots, and then inform Alpha or SCV so they can add stuff to the main page.
