Glitch Pokemon aren't exactly known for their offensive or defensive powers. And Jolteon has always been one of the fastest Pokemon. Speaking of fast, critical hits were determined by the speed stat. Pokemon was a much more rock-paper-scissors type game where you could easily predict what would happen in Gen I/II. So Jolteon had a very high chance of critical hitting with moves such as Body Slam and Thunderbolt.

IVs, or their predecessor, DVs, have been around since Gen I. The reason Jolteon could do that is because...well, you were probably only going up against the AI, and the AI in Pokemon games doesn't get really smart until Gen III. And even then, it's pretty easy to outthink them.

Depends on the event item you hack. An item that hasn't been released, like the Azure Flute, wouldn't be legal under any definition nor would the lvl 80 in-game OT/ID# Arceus that is obtained by it. For a released item, such as the Plat Darkrai item, it'd be legal.

Your anti-virus is shitty. There is no virus in any of our downloads. This problem has been reported before. I did a full scan with both F-Prot Antivirus and Malware Bytes and neither picked up the file after I downloaded it. And even if it is infected, it doesn't mean it came from PP.

Can you change the DNS with it? If you can't, then it probably doesn't work at all.

Ok, but RNG isn't cheating. No external device will ever interact with your game save. The "id" is your trainer ID #. Of course they'll be the same. Eventually, or you can just do the Masuda method via breeding which gives you a much better chance.

Are you catching it twice with an AR code? Maybe that's the problem. either way, soft-resetting without doing any RNG abuse might take weeks, if not months. It's a painfully daunting task. I'd recommend breeding for a shiny Sudowoodo instead. If you don't want to bother with RNG abuse, at least make your chances go up a bit and use the Masuda Method.
