  1. Same file size as everywhere else, probably. Members: 10 MB per attachment 500 MB per user Developers/researchers/whoever else (might not be properly configured at the moment): 50 MB per attachment 2500 MB per user Super Moderators and higher: unlimited These limits are completely arbitrary, so if anyone needs more storage for legitimate reasons, they can be raised.
  2. Anything, really. In general, probably anything that doesn't fit well in the forums or has a need to be a blog. I made the Sky Editor blog a blog instead of a forum post because it spans save editing, ROM editing, and general development, and doesn't fit well in a single forum.
  3. Look here for instructions on how to backup and restore saves:
  4. [Edit] If anyone is reading this after the fact, clubs can be found here. A new forum update is coming soon, and one of the features I'm hyped for are Clubs. Clubs are sub-communities where you can discuss various topics that you define. Users From the IPS Community website: Access Levels Content Each club can have their own forums, download categories, blogs, and calendars. Index Forums Club owners can add forums where members can create topics. Club leaders and club moderators have control over these forums and can pin, lock, move, merge, and hide threads in these forums. These screenshots depict a single forum "Topics". Blogs Project Pokémon recently got Blogs. With clubs, you can create a blog managed by the club leaders and club moderators. Downloads Clubs can also have files, similar to our downloads section. Calendars And finally, the calendar. And who knows? Maybe there'll be something else in there too
  5. We had blogs in the old system? That probably says something about how accessible that feature was.
  6. Project Pokémon has Blogs now. Blogs are areas that you control, where you set the topic and can post pretty much whatever you like: opinions, hobbies, rants, or anything else you can think of. We ask, but do not require, that you use the forums for on-topic things. I've started one where I can post updates about the development of Sky Editor, and I intend to create one soon where Project Pokémon staff can share sneak-peaks of future additions to the site. Enjoy! View full article
  7. Project Pokémon now has blogs. As the creator of Sky Editor and admin of Project Pokémon, I've moved the Sky Editor blog to Project Pokémon. I'm currently rewriting the save editing library in C# so I can finally move away from the PCL project towards a .Net Standard project that can target both .Net Standard and the .Net Framework. I tried the lastest VS2017 preview which supposedly supports Visual Basic in .Net Standard; however it lacks understanding of basic VB features such as the "vbCRLF" constant and inferred variable types The advantage of multiple framework targets is that any .Net Framework applications that reference SkyEdtior.SaveEditor will no longer have to carry around all of those those .Net Core DLLs. Last week I introduced this same change to PKHeX, and so far it's working well. After rewriting the save editing library, I'll likely keep the WPF UI in VB. I do, however, intend to touch some things up, perhaps finally getting around to adding item management features such as editing what's inside of a Box, or what a Used TM used to be. As always, please feel free to suggest new features, since I'm more likely to prioritize suggestions.

  9. I kinda broke the Mystery Dungeon Pokedexes, so they'll have to be republished.@Project Pokémon Bot will be spending the next few hours fixing my mistake.

What was my mistake you may ask? Configuration! A "5" should have been a "6", so things got screwed up.

ahhh, the classic off by one error. How cliché...

  10. That would require some serious edits to the game's binary. It's not possible with current research AFAIK (but then again, psy_commando has already done things that I once thought impossible).
  11. This forum is for any Pokémon game that is not part of the main series, or general discussion about spin-off games in general. Threads primarily about Pokémon Mystery Dungeon belong in the Mystery Dungeon sub-forum. To try to keep things organized, please tag your thread with the game it's about. These are the tags that are in use so far: Tag Games ranger Pokémon Ranger 1 and general Pokémon Ranger discussion ranger 2 Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia ranger 3 Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs battle revolution Pokémon Battle Revolution puzzle league Pokémon Puzzle League rumble Pokémon Rumble dash Pokémon Dash snap Pokémon Snap go Pokémon Go stadium Pokémon Stadium colosseum Pokémon Colosseum xd Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness tcg Pokémon Trading Card Game shuffle Pokémon Shuffle jump Magikarp Jump detective Detective Pikachu If you want to create a thread about a game that's not in this list, then choose a prefix that makes sense for the game. If you want to create a thread about two or more series of spin-off games or about spin-off games in general, then don't tag your thread.

  12. Can you check the event viewer to see if there's any PKHeX errors listed there? http://www.dummies.com/computers/operating-systems/windows-10/how-to-use-event-viewer-in-windows-10/
  13. Project Pokémon has recently received some new additions. First, we have the new Guides section. This is where you can find or post guides on how to do various Pokémon hacking things, such as getting access to your save file for use with PKHeX. Next, we have the new Pokédex section. @Project Pokémon Bot has been working tirelessly to bring you Pokémon reference data for your enjoyment, spending more than 30 hours over the course of 2 weeks doing nothing but posting thousands of entries to this section, and at the moment, it shows data for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky and Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. Work is already under way to bring data from more games to it, such as Pokémon Sun and Moon. We cannot commit to any particular release date at this time, but rest assured that we are working to ensure it's good and ready. Finally, @jasenyoface, member of our news team, has been promoted to moderator of all the Pokémon Discussion forums. There are more surprise additions planned for the near to mid future, but in the mean time, if anyone has any suggestions or is willing to help write articles for our website, please send me a PM or reply to this thread. 14. The Mystery Dungeon RawDB is now a part of our new Pokedex and is back online.
  15. I think I fixed it. Let me know if there's any more problems.
  16. Using this homebrew launcher (boot.3dsx on the SD root), launch the CIA Homebrew thing.
  17. In order to edit your saves for use with save editors like PKHeX or Sky Editor, you must first be able to backup/restore your save file from a cartridge. There are many ways this can be accomplished, and it all depends on what hardware you have available. The following methods are listed in order of recommendation. Pick the first one you have the hardware to use. When this guide refers to IR games, it refers to games with an IR port like Pokemon HeartGold, SoulSilver, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, since older tools are not compatible with these. This can be bypassed using a hardware mod of the cartridge that is outside the scope of this guide and is generally not recommended. Alternatively, if you use an emulator, you should already have access to your save file. However, not all emulators use a save file format that's compatible with save editors by default (such as No$GBA). This is currently outside the scope of this guide, but you're having trouble, you can ask in the comments section at the bottom of this page. 3DS with CFW If your 3DS doesn't have CFW, check Plailect's comprehensive guide to setting up CFW to see if you're able to use this option. If you are able, follow this guide: 3DS with Homebrew and either PokéTransporter or Pokémon Dream Radar Installed This option works with either CFW or homebrew. If CFW is not an option, check Smealum's homebrew website to see if you have a compatible homebrew entry-point. If you do not have CFW or homebrew, then you cannot use your 3DS to manage NDS saves. If you meet these requirements, please follow this guide: NDS Backup Adapter Plus OR SMS4 OR R4i Save Dongle. Older variants may not work on IR games. Follow this guide for a usage guide: Look here if you need help disabling driver signature enforcement on versions of Windows newer than Windows XP (used in the above guide). Action Replay DSi with a Micro-SD slot and an NDS (original, lite, or DSi) OR an Action Replay Media Edition and an original DS or DS Lite. Will not work on IR games. Not all Action Replay DSi units have a micro-SD slot. Unfortunately, neither the Action Replay DSi with the micro-SD slot nor the Action Replay Media Edition are made or sold anymore. Please refer to the following guide for using the Action Replay DSi. The exact usage of the Action Replay Media Edition is similar but may vary slightly. In order to allow compatibility with save editors, you may need to convert the *.duc files to raw format. My save converter can be found here. An alternative save converter written by @Matt140, with instructions written by @Scarface, can be found here. This is not required for PKHeX. Original DS or DS Lite AND a slot 2 flashcart that can run NDS homebrew With this hardware combo, you can import/export saves directly to your flashcart using @Pokedoc's savegame manager. Refer to the included PDF for usage instructions. Original DS or DS Lite AND a slot 1 flashcart AND an EZ Flash 3in1 With this hardware combo, your cartridge's save file is written to the EZ Flash 3in1, then copied to your slot 1 flashcart using @Pokedoc's savegame manager. Refer to the included PDF for usage instructions. Original DS or DS Lite AND a slot 1 flashcart AND WEP Wi-FI AND an FTP server (your computer can function as one) Note that WEP is different than WPA, which is more common nowadays and is much more secure. With this hardware combo, you can import/export saves directly to your flashcart using @Pokedoc's savegame manager. Refer to the included PDF for usage instructions. If you cannot do any of the above, and you are not playing on a flashcart or an emulator, then you do not have access to your save file and cannot directly edit it. Depending on what you wish to do, you might be able to create Action Replay codes using PokeGen, but that is outside the scope of this guide. Emulators (DeSmuMe, No$GBA, or Drastic) If you're playing on an emulator instead of a console, getting your save data is far easier and requires no hardware except for a compatible computer. Read here to learn how to get your saves from certain emulators:

  19. CIA homebrew is unchanged. 3dsx homebrew is what's found here: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
  20. Thanks to the help of @jasenyoface, we now have a new dark site theme, called "Site Theme Dark", named since it's a dark version of "Site Theme" (I didn't come up with the name, it's an artifact from 2009). I've been using it for a few days, and it's my new favorite.

Glad to contribute!  You've done a great job on the themes.

With that image, everything fell into place, and the rest of the work was just fixing broken things.

  21. I rebranded my cross-platform NDS ROM extractor that was originally in the DotNet3dsToolkit as (you guessed it) the DotNetNdsToolkit. Bleeding edge builds can be found here (log in as guest and go to the artifacts tab). It works on any machine with the .Net Core 1.1 installed, but I've included native builds for win10-x64, debian.8-x64, ubuntu.16.04-x64, and osx.10.12-x64. I can add more if anyone wants, so long as it's listed here.

  22. Version 2.6 Alpha

    20257 downloads

This program was developed for those who wish to convert their save files offline, rather than having to go to the online one. It uses a similar interface, and supports conversion between the following save types: Save File Formats Action Replay DSi Action Replay Media Edition Action Replay MAX Acekard 2 Acekard RPG AKAIO EZ Flash V RAW Format CycloDS EGDE M3 Simply NinjaDS R4 Supercard CF Supercard DSONE Supercard SD Top Toy DS M3 DS Real G6 DS Real DeSmuMe System Requirements: -.Net Framwork 2.0 or 4.0 -Windows (Vista or 7 prefered, XP may or may not work)
  23. Remember my cross-platform NDS ROM extractor? A version that can rebuild ROMs is coming soon. More testing is needed, but if anyone wants to try it out, install .Net Core, grab the source here, use "dotnet build" in the ToolkitConsoleCore folder, then "dotnet run".

  24. I played around with the themes a bit, making them wider. I also added the IPS Dark theme. Let me know if there's any problems with anything.

    1. theSLAYER

      theSLAYER

      yeah it's fully wider now!
Did you add a shadow to Assistant Administrator title? (I don't recall that previously)

    2. evandixon

      evandixon

Yeah, the dark purple didn't really show up well on a dark background. I also adjusted the s-mod shadow, and gave Alpha a white shadow (because, you know, black on dark gray...).

They could still use some work, but at least those usernames are possible to read now.

  25. evandixon

    Pkhex error

Do you have the DLLs in the same directory?
