  1. As Kaphotics said, use File -> Save Pokémon (From Tabs)
  2. Only thing I know of is this: http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/utilities/download-pokemon-ranger-mission-injector-12-f22840.html
  3. F8 won't work. Settings charm > change pc settings > General > Advanced startup (restart now) > troubleshoot > Change startup settings > ... > Press 7 for disable driver sig. enforcement. Then install the drivers. If you restart, you need to do this again. (For both USB devices I discussed)
  4. No. Just install the drivers like you would signed drivers, after going through those steps.
  5. Yep. Just follow the instructions here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?24780-How-to-use-the-SMS4-or-NDS-Backup-Adapter-Plus-on-Windows-8-Preview&p=149956#post149956
  6. The NDS Backup Adapter Plus is definitely easier to use, but installing the drivers is a little tricky if you've never done that before. The SMS4 can backup ROMs, but the two different they've made are somewhat shoddy in some respects (see my first post, I link to a package I've made that can do what you need). I end up using my NDS Backup Adapter Plus more often, because it's straight forward and has a definite place to find updates, while the SMS4 just has some unorganized forum.
  7. What code did you generate, and what should it do.
  8. https://www.pokecheck.org/
  9. Sorry it took so long. If the save you wanted to change the gamesync ID for had 2 pokemon in the party (Oshawatt and Lillipup), here you go. I have absolutely no idea what will happen. Have fun. Experimental Game.sav
  10. That could work... I'll try that later today.
  11. Is this a US, Japanese, or European save? Someone in another thread gave two Japanese save files (one before entering the gamesync id, and one after). I was able to find where the game sync ID was located in that version and the US version, but I have no idea how it's encoded (nor have I looked at it since). If you have the Japanese version, just for kicks I could try to (technical stuff) reset it so you never entered the game sync ID. If you don't have the Japanese version, we could still try, but I'll need any save before entering the game sync ID and the same save immediately after entering the game sync ID (not that I'm asking you to make these, it takes a lot of time and there's no guarantee that it would work).
  12. The ROM uses its own formats, so new ROM tools would have to be made. I looked at it a while ago, and one of the formats is similar to narc, but slightly different and lacking part of the header.
  13. I call foul on the votes. Over 1000 votes and under 200 views... *Glances at Alpha, wondering if an admin used admin magic*
  14. I'm thinking that the game will crash even if you are given the save file. So, this is now more of a thread about how to get a game to work on flashcarts. I'll move the thread for you.
  15. Are you using Wood R4? If not, that's why the game is freezing.
  16. You're probably using Wi-Fi secured with WPA (which is pretty secure). Only newer games that are DSi aware can use that kind of connection. Older games can only use unsecured or WEP Wi-Fi (WEP is very insecure, and can easily be broken in 20 steps, according to a quick and easy web search). So it's either use unsecure Wi-Fi or settle with no Wi-Fi for older games.
  17. I'm curious how many people noticed this year's April Fools Day prank. So just vote on the poll if you so choose. Btw, this poll will expire in one day, because tomorrow will no longer be April Fools Day.
  18. SID=Secret ID of the Trainer PID=Pokemon ID The Pokemon ID has info about shinyness. The Secret ID helps determine the Pokemon's owner.
  19. These things exist, but they apparently aren't sold to the public, so it's either DeSmuMe or a video camera. [edit] woah, ninja'd by Kaphotics!
  20. Is the DS giving that error? Also, be sure the firewall is set to allow incoming connections to use Port 21.
  21. What's different now than before? Also, if you upload the dump file, then the developers may be able to help more.
  22. What anti-virus do you use? Windows 8 comes with an updated Windows Defender, which is all you need.
  23. If you have a dsv file, there's no need to edit a savestate. Save file editing is much more reliable. If there's a problem, in Desmume, use File > Export Backup Memory, edit what you just saved, then use File > Import Backup Memory
  24. ROMs are copies of games; scans are copies of printed things, like books. Both of which usually are illegal to share, and this forum (Project Pokémon) does its best to take no part in illegal activity.
  25. There should be .dsv files. Just open those.
