1. Updated to show item information, with what I know of an item's bitwise anatomy. If anyone can help, that would be great. Otherwise, I'll try again later.
2. The date shouldn't matter, since it is possible to download a wonder card or Dream World Pokémon and not actually obtain it for a year. As for the met location, I don't think you need to change it. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?731
3. What errors are you getting?
4. 1. Backup your current save just in case 2. Start a new game, and save as soon as you can. Then backup that save 3. Download the events you want: http://projectpokemon.org/events/ 4. Use Pokegen to add the events to your game 5. Restore that save and enjoy.
5. http://serebii.net/events/dex/001.shtml You're right, though the Pokémon is actually legal, because someone could have downloaded it to their game, and waited a year or two before capturing it. Probably hacked, but technically legal.
6. Look around in this thread: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?13328-C-Gear-Skin-Exchange-Thread/page9
7. http://serebii.net/xy/pokemon.shtml This is all we know so far, seeing that the games aren't out yet.
8. You would probably have to beat the storyline first, making it not as useful. Not to mention all the new Pokemon. But still, it's something.
9. You need to go to Vermillion or Saffron city to use the boat or subway.
10. With the DSTWO, you can play .nds games, including homebrew. Homebrew will let you obtain your save file, but through the use of Wifi, not the DSTWO. The process only works on a DS Lite (or the original), which only supports unsecured (without a password) or WEP WiFi (which is hardly secure, you probably don't have it enabled on your router). There's also other device combinations if all you want is the save file, but the DSTWO can play backups of original games. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16601-How-to-Backup-Restore-your-retail-cartridge-save-file-(D-P-Pt-HG-SS-B-W-Nearly-any-other-DS-game)
11. I've only tested it on the US version. It might work on the European version. As for your name, I'll keep looking. I changed it in the save file and nothing happened. It's probably hidden more places than I thought. [Edit] Currently focusing on held items. I've got results with that. Just not the results I'm expecting. I'll continue later in the week. At least I've got the checksum, so this is actually possible.
12. This program will let you edit various things in the saves of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky, and some parts of the ROM for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky! You need the .Net Framework 4.6 to use 4.0.4 and above. Other versions only require 4.5. Only useful if you're a developer. -Sky Editor 3.2 (Source).zip - Contains the source code for Sky Editor 3.2. When you download a zip file, it's important that you right-click on it, got to Properties, then general, then click the button that says "Unblock" near the bottom. 13. They could, but that hasn't happened yet. You should be fine.
14. Nothing out there I know of. Check to see if Pokesav does it. If not, upload two or three nearly identical save files differing only by the number of coins (and of course play time), and I may be able to make an editor.
15. 1. GBC, I have no idea about. A web search may reveal old devices to do this. GBA, you need a slot 1 flashcart and a DS lite. Look further on the web and there may be a device I don't know about that can do both. 2. Yes. the DSTWO can backup GBA games, if you're on an original DS or DS lite. For NDS pokemon games, you need unsecured or WEP Wi-Fi. Neither is really that secure. The DSTWO cannot backup GBC games at all. The DSTWO will work on a DSi, but without accessing any DSi features. You also won't be able to backup anything on a DSi. 3. VBA, I'm not sure. I haven't played much with it. DeSmuMe, yes. Just use File -> Import/Export Backup Memory.
16. Most of the methods for getting saves files also let you dump the ROM of a cartridge: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16601-How-to-Backup-Restore-your-retail-cartridge-save-file-(D-P-Pt-HG-SS-B-W-Nearly-any-other-DS-game). Like the SMS4. Downloading ROMs is illegal, so we can't help you there.
17. (I'm assuming DeSmuMe is the same on both operating systems.) You said you're editing the *.sav file. Are you getting that from File -> Export Backup Memory? If not, use that or open the *.dsv file in the Battery folder. By the way, this thread probably should have gone in the Save Editing Help section: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?27-Save-Editing-Help
18. Have you waited 24 hours after using the erase Pokedex code (assuming that you have at least one Pokémon caught)? Also, be sure to save once while not using the Action Replay, wait 24 hours, then try again. If that doesn't work, your only option might be to reset your save. http://support.pokemon.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=15227&task=knowledge&questionID=708
19. 1. Just checked my game. That's what it's supposed to look like. 2. That's what it's supposed to look like. If you're worried about the word "apparently", it means the Pokémon was traded. 3. You can use Pokegen to edit a PKM file to have the right location; you can also try re-downloading the pkm in case it was corrupted.
20. By the way, there's an edit button, so please help keep the forum clean by not posting double, triple, or septuple posts like that. Also, put large images in tags to avoid horizontal scrolling.
21. Just tried it on my game using DeSmuMe, and it works fine. How are you adding the code/what are you using it on.
22. 1. Use this to open the wonder card: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6524-Pokémon-Mystery-Gift-Editor-(v1.4.3)-(now-with-B-W-support!) 2. Extract the pkm file 3. Use http://pokecheck.org/ to get your Pokémon on your game.
23. Are you sure you set the right target game?
