  3. Luma3DS has a way to spoof region changing for games (more on the github), so maybe go with that? you know that a Japanese person in Japan on their Japan 3DS could have started their game in any other language (let's say English), and while the wonder card may have Japanese receiving text, most cards follow the game save's language, thus would also have the nickname in English, right? Pretty sure residence data is wiped in Gen 7. But for Gen 6, yeah, sound about right.
  4. for the record, this isn't required. If this is your preference, then so be it. The fact that you posted this makes me doubt that you read the post, nor understood the contents. The JPN mark isn't necessary. Also: doesn't help. As long as you don't have a JP 3DS, the save immediately changes the region on boot, even if you changed the region before loading it. Thus, any mons you redeemed would have EU region (based on the method you described). Why don't you just inject the wonder cards, redeem them (ignoring region), then using PKHeX to fix their region, as per how they were distributed?
  5. The wonder card itself doesn't hold region locked information. However, whether a wonder card is region locked, depends on how it was distributed. For example, if it's a Japanese serial code, unless the distributor didn't specifically state that it can be used on other devices, it is typically locked to JP 3DS only. I've laid information bare on the first post saying what type of distribution (serial code, nintendo network etc) is or isn't region locked. It sounds like you're confused between region and language. I suggest you reread the first post properly again. There is a Tapu Koko example that specifically shows that a Japanese region locked event CAN have the English nickname/English language tag. A region locked wonder card can have the nickname in any language, unless specifically noted. Given that ALL gen 6 and 7 games allow you to launch the retail game in any language, you 3DS can be region locked, but the mon can have any language. It's like playing on a JP 3DS but having an English language save. Without hacking, you can't change a device's region too. Thus, it is stored as JP save, with ENG language. There are a few cards where the language tag is set, or the nickname is set, and that information is on the summary.
  6. Not going to give a full step by step guide, just a brief overview and why the step described is important (if necessary). 1. Dump your save of your cart using a save manager. (tutorial) PKHeX is a save manager, so naturally you need your save. I advise keeping an unedited copy of your save safe somewhere on your computer, in case anything fails. 2. Make a copy of that dump in the save manager folder. (as in copy paste the folder in the same directory) This way, whatever you restore into your game, is a copy of the dumped save. The dumped save is still there, unedited. I'll be splitting the remaining steps between Route A and Route B (options you can take) Route A: directly import the gridelin save Route B: copy the mons from your save
  7. @Catpuccino mind illuminating me how this is better than, let's say, a Physical Choice Banded Stomping Tantrum or High Horsepower Golurk? The Ground type makes it immune to Electric moves (like Overcharge), and the Ghost type makes it immune to Normal moves (like Boomburst). Honestly asking ><
  8. Okay, "invalid: Form argument not allowed for this encounter." For Furfrou forms, form argument is used as the countdown for days. Once the countdown for Furfrou (from 5 days) reaches 0, Furfrou's form revert to the Original form. Since that Furfrou form argument is 0, it basically should have already reverted back. Thing is USUM supports them being in the PC, but PKHeX doesn't seem to support it. (placing them in the party will flag them being legal, and PC illegal, despite being in PC would be legal in SMUSUM) PKHeX doesn't seem to allow Form argument being modified right now The workaround right now is: I placed them in the party, then shifted them into the PC, and have em in the USUM save. (if shifting them around a PKM files causes them to become illegal again, so form argument isn't retained by PKHeX) check the new SMUSUM saves.
  9. As I said, being able to transfer to SWSH means nothing, cause HOME hack checks is useless. Also, transfer-ability isn't the same as legality. Thus, there is no need to send the Vespiquen to SWSH to see what it says, cause there is no point. @Kaphotics any idea why OP's Vespiquen is illegal?
  10. Yup, I meant legal. Also being able to transfer to SWSH means nothing. HOME's hack check sucks.
  11. Which mons, from which game were they from, and for what game did you try importing them into?
  12. To an extent, wonder cards presently have no purpose for the end user, since they can't be injected (a change since LGPE). However, the data is useful for various references, and maybe in the future it can be distributed by a wireless distributor? one can hope. In any case, using these wonder cards, we know which byte in the fashion block is changed. Fashion blocks can be found here.
  13. No. Ball data exists for Gen 3 and onwards. Ball data don’t exist for Gen 1 & 2 captures, so Transporter defaults it to Poké Ball
  14. Ban risk isn’t known for using PKHeX. Ban risk is going online with CFW, tho maybe that can change. nuff said.
  15. @sunao Poke Transfer updates Met Level with Caught Level, when transferred. Thus, even if met at lv 70, if you transferred at lv 100, the new Met Level is Lv 100 (if that makes sense). In other words, there's nothing wrong with that met level, it's just a game mechanic.
  16. It's weird, because my Cute Charm Vespiquen (transferred at lv 50) is legal, But I can't change yours to legal.
  17. get CFW on your Switch. It's a necessary step. Follow the guide, at your own risk.
  18. I'm slightly confused, this is an issue for Gen 8 Poke Ball Mew, but I'm glad to see the issue for LGPE was resolved.

  20. Don't think that's accurate. The Meowth gift which I received in-game (not injected from wonder card via PKHeX) is not flagged illegal on PKHeX. @Kaphotics can you respond to this? AliceTheAlice reported previously about the Mew having memories. For the record, my Meowth has memories as well. Apparently whoever I traded it too, has memories has well. Also to be clear, the Meowth from when I received it (right as I received it, before I used it in battle, and it's the same Meowth) has a set of memories, but they're rather different. Note: The Meowth did go straight to my party tho. Don't know if it'll have no memories if went straight to PC. Given the memories for the same Meowth is different across different points of the playthrough, and the fact that the wonder cards for both Meowth and Mew doesn't have memory data, I guess memories are gained and change throughout play-through? Given that my Meowth does have memories after right after it was received, maybe set some dummy memories, if no memory is asked of by the wonder card? (not that it truly matters, since it probably gains memories through play-through) edit: so I have a Mew with memories, and it's not flagged illegal. @AliceTheAlice check if your Mew is illegal on the latest update, and if so, tell us why it's illegal. I don't think memories (or the lack thereof) is the issue here.
  21. Thanks. I'm under the impression that all promoted raids are set to HA. I even battled a Mewtwo that had Unnerve (if I'm not mistaken), so chance of HA is a default setting, and I won't have to dig for it in the moves. I've expanded my app a bit. Apparently there's 5 moves programmed per slot, tho I think the extra move is a move they can use but not have it when captured.
  22. The event flags that causes the gyms to appears and the story flags are not well understood, and undocumented. What you can do is: plop your save back in Sword, then defeat the entire story, then continue in shield. These freezes would occur along the lines where the opposite character is called, such as (but not limited to) Fighting/Ghost Gym Battle Ice/Rock Gym Battle Fighting/Ghost Gym & Stop Raging Dynamaxed Mon Ice/Rock Gym & Stop Raging Dynamaxed Mon Any dialogue/battle that involves Sordward and Shielbert. Honestly, too much of this occurs across the entire story. Once you're past the entire story, you should be fine, but for now place your save back into Sword.
