  1. They were just examples of moves and abilities pokemon cannot learn legally, as referring to that "no hacks" rule.
  2. 1! :C
  3. You like a weird flying banana plant dinosaur but don't like a plant duck, wearing ovens mitts and a sombrero? BOTH of them are cool haha.
  4. By "No hacked pokemon" Usually this is simply referring to things like Wonderguard Spirittobs/Sableyes , Volt absorb gyarados, Dark Void and Draco meteor Dunsparce, Hyperbeam Mudkips and the like. If he wants to use all these clauses though, just go play shoddy battle.
  5. Weezing! The best poisonous flying mutation!
  6. There was no cap in R/B/Y so every pokemon got their maximum number of stat points. I actually like EV's though. From a Mechanic standpoint it means specing things properly in order to get your team to work right. And on the other side a cap in place means if you just "want to play the games" Then it goes along the lines of " as you travel with your pokemon their experiences and encounters determine how their stats pan out! " Which a lot of people like now. It caters to both .
  7. Don't dis the giant plant with a smiley face, oven mitts and a Sombrero. It's doesn't get more cool than that.
  8. 4 YES THATS RIGHT FOUR, DROP THESE - negative NUMBERS.
  9. Check out how cool I made that look Also Roserade and Ludicolo are pretty awesome grass types.
  10. Oh nostalgia you fickle mistress.
  11. I'm just skipping the negative numbers. Waste of time besides members already got a higher consecutive post count than the admins. So technically we're winning. /sigh -2.
  12. > Just check out smogon's " best teams" To get an idea of what constructed teams consist of, then pick pokemon you like then. If its not for competitive it's you just need to pick ones you like and make sure the IV's are Believable and the EV's don't exceed 510. http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53595
  13. Sphere no Hane - Sukima Switch. Just got their greatest hits album and it's pretty good. Just think of them as a japanese Steely dan with more melody, less jazz.
  14. The only thing I want them to do at this point, is work on the actual games, not how many more pokemon we can catch. Do you know why G/S/C were a lot of peoples favorite games? Because they introduced enough new pokemon to un centralize the metagame but also they added a lot of new features to make the game seem more personal and then once you got to the end of it, a whole new region opened up! Platinum so far seems like a step in the right direction and I hope they can further expand on this concept
  15. I hate absol. The only other cool dark type I can see is Honchcrow. yay for elitist opinions.
  16. Neither is that :'( 1.
  17. Haha sorry but I had to > Also Instead of flamethrower, heatwave is a decent option and can be taught via Move tutor along with Thunderpunch while he learns Close combat from leveling and Earthquake Via TM.
  18. Then post 1 and we get to start over. One.
  19. Well thats why you use Earthquake or Dragon dance on a switch anyway. Jolly Gyarados outspeeds timid 252 Jolteon after 1 DD and OHKO's with earthquake too. But you have to watch out for Choice scarf users. Anyway My favorite starter is probably Swampert/Typhlosion but in terms of D/P/Pt Chimcar>Monferno>Infernape is the easiest starter to use and learns power attacks that score super effective hits on most of the games pokemon ( Close combat, Earthquake, thunder punch and Grassknot ) k I'm done.
  20. Tyranitar. Pokedex Entry: If it rampages, it knocks down mountains and buries rivers. Maps must be redrawn afterward. There is no cooler dark type.
  21. I'm just going to say One. Also: How do we know who's winning? The Members side obviously has gotten a higher number count than the mods.
  22. Gyarados learns thunderwave. It's too bad most of his switch ins are electric type
  23. ALL teams rely on heavy synergy to win, Offensive even more than stall. Offensive teams also rely on Paralysis support, stat up moves and in the event of choice items, being able to hit for neutral damage is more important that aiming for a super effective hit because your assuming the opponent isn't going to switch out ( which they will ) . Balanced teams rely on Entry hazards and status moves and are essentially a combination of Stall/Offensive. They are at a disadvantage when fighting Pure stall or Pure offensive teams. The only problem with that is, most people don't know how to build teams and end up with Fail-stall or fail-offensive a lot of the time. Letting well built balanced teams run through them. Well , is your metagross going to be a mixed'd sweeper of sorts, a lead, a stat upper ( AGIL GROSS ) ? We can't suggest/correct your sets unless we know what it's role it going to be. It would be better to at least have 6 pokemon your sure you want to use before you start pumping out breeding projects. :kikkoman:
  24. TWENTY TWO, YEA I TYPED IT OUT, WHAT!
