  2. Oh! So I just need to bump up to level 2? I'll try it and see if it works. Thanks! :-D That worked, and you're brilliant. This is actually for my wife. She has always wanted a Seel, but they come up so much later in games that she never really gets to use one. Know that you made a very beautiful woman even prettier by the smile this will put on her face. :-D

  3. While it is a very minor glitch, and can wait some years if it needs too, I like debugging and letting programmer knows about flaws in their coding. I consider it as constructive critics.

  4. Message shows it is matching to a static encounter, and that static encounter is a gift (which requires a standard Poké Ball). The best-match generator for gen3 has been altered to do the same collision detection (gift && ball not pokeball) as gen4: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/072f1ba83d965310b43ad916b3760e376f67f3f0#diff-611d41e12eb876fe009aa88436d0acf9R285 Should be resolved with the latest commits.

  5. It's always seemed so strange for Darkrai to be a mythical Pokémon while its counterpart is just a regular ol' legendary. Maybe it's just me, but it feels so uncanny. Partially. While things such as PID, gender, ability, and sometimes IVs* are randomly generated, all of these Pokémon have a preset nature, moveset, items, and most times IVs*. *IVs are a particular case, since, as far as I remember, non-Super Battle Subway and Maison use Pokémon with randomly generated IVs, whereas "Super" modes have all set to 31. Adding to what wrathsoffire76 said, Smogon keeps a full list of these preset characteristics (be it for rent Pokémon or for NPC ones), not only for Battle Factory but for every battle facility. Serebii and Bulbapedia have these lists as well, and while the latter ones are easier to navigate, Smogon is usually a bit more technical.

  6. It was freezing with an emulator too, so we can eliminate the device as a possible problem. At first I thought it may be not having the pokedex, but that still didn't solve it. I then edited the Seel's level up to 2 (since level 1 is never valid pre-Gen4), and that stopped the freezing.

  7. That is read from the ROM, it's not stored in the Pokemon data. There are just index values so the game knows what to display. By the way, it's interestng how the decrypted Manaphy Egg PGT looks like. The species isn't even in the PKM data, it's only determined by the gift type. They really could have left the PKM data blank like they do for other non-PKM gift types.

  8. @theSLAYER these Pokemon are in BK4 format as they were extracted from a Battle Revolution save directly. You might change the title to avoid confusion. PKHeX can convert between BK4 and PK4.

  9. Nah, I mean the TRU one. Ash/01301 They probably thought it'd be easier to say it's holding the Marshadium Z than to say you'll be handed the crystal along with the Marshadow. (They could just say "comes with Marshadium Z", though.)

  10. Anybody know if a Korean Manaphy Egg was distributed? Or a way to activate the event as close as it would've been intended. Pokemon Ranger wasn't released in Korea, but the location met and associated text might be translated (if unused) in the gen 4 games.

  11. I've got the file on site. I just checked, NMI darkrai moves are Quick Attack, Hypnosis, Pursuit, Nightmare. (Well, if it's encountered at the same level, and the game uses the same method of generating moves in a Pokemon, It's gonna have the same moves, tho) edit: The Roaming one has Feint Attack instead of Pursuit. edit2: Added: Map 0xFE Pokemon Added: PkmnStadium2 Rental Pokemon Added: Rental Passes Pokemon

  12. Iirc, the 200 pokeballs with the SM dual pack actually gave two codes for 100 balls each, with one use per game, and I think it was the same case for the 200 potions with ORAS. I'm assuming it'll be the same this time. Not really that bad, but I remember selling the remainder as soon as I was able to buy better balls.

  13. I found an issue with Pokemon that are transfered from Firered to platinum through the Pal Park. The first time you view a Pokemon when you load a Platinum save, if the Pokemon come from Firered and that you didn't viewed another Pokemon in another savefile in the same instance of PKHex, it will say that the Pokemon is illegal because it doesn't come from the Pal Park. The information will update for all the Pokemon transfered from Firered if you view another Pokemon. This is very minor, but is still there.

  16. Back in business ^^ So I decided first to get all the non-buggy Pokemon from Pokemon Yellow Bug Town (Here for explanations). That was hard but I succeded. Then I also found that you can still catch wild Wailord in Pokemon Prism thanks to the walk through walls code. But I still haven't find any fossil. Finally I'll try to see if I can get the data of the surfing Pikachu from that game just for personal use. Edit: I got it but each time I try to edit my save I got a save corruption. 18. Here's another thing to add. Thanks to suloku's Pokemon Stadium 2 dumper, I have managed to obtain all of the rental Pokemon reserved for the Gym Leader Castle. I tried doing the other modes, but it doesn't seem to dump registered teams there. Anyway, here they are. Not sure if I missed any or accidentally named something wrong: Pokemon Stadium 2 Gym Leader Castle Rentals.zip
