Both Deoxyz and HaxAras provide valid points, so my contribution to this discussion is this: If you're playing solo, it doesn't matter what you do in-game, as long as you get maximum satisfaction. Legality issue comes up when you interact with other players. As long as we respect what their take on it is, then it's all good. If we don't know what their take is (such as online play), we should follow community standards, to only trade Legit/Legal Pokemon, which in this case, the Shiny Mew does not qualify, as it was distributed with 15 DVs, meaning not intended to be shiny. (It doesn't matter whether transporter blocks it or not. Arbitrary Code Execution is in the realm of cheating, as opposed to a single trade oversight [shiny Manaphy egg]) <Also I agree with HaxAras: I try to do everything in game without save editors, it's epic fun this way> edit: For any users that shadow this thread, I've uploaded pk1 and pk7 for Mews (Eng and Jpn): edit 2: Since International copies non-Japanese copies can trade with one another, and language of transported Pokemon follows game it was transported from: [I was able to trade on VC between ENG and SPA, and not ENG and JPN] (all the PK7 was transported by me.)3 points

Version 24.11.11

Pokémon core series save editor, programmed in C#. Supports the following files: Save files ("main", *.sav, *.dsv, *.dat, *.gci) GameCube Memory Card files (.raw, .bin) containing GC Pokémon savegames. Individual Pokémon entity files (.pk*) Mystery Gift files (.pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc*) including conversion to .pk* Importing teams from Battle Videos Transferring from one generation to another, converting formats along the way. Do not use significantly hacked Pokémon in battle or in trades with those who are unaware hacked Pokémon are in use. FAQ Support Forum <-- Post here if you have questions or found bugs2 points -
I was still having the errors, even after overriding, but I probably just did something wrong, I didn't spend too much time on it due to the update.2 points

@Garlic @Keystone @theSLAYER A new version of PKHeX was release a short time ago! Download the non Mono one. So if you would like to use Wine Bottler, it will work. Pay attention to the release notes as the current release uses Internal program version .NET 4.6. So when you build with Wine Bottler, remember to select .NET 4.6 in the Winetricks option. It may take longer than a typical Wine. Thank you @Kaphotics Flawless Victory2 points

Something that might be helpful for a Mac user if Wine Bottler does not work for them. Download Xamarin Studio from https://www.xamarin.com/download Then navigate to http://teamcity.projectpokemon.org/overview.html Log in as guest, Tick "Save Editors" and then tick the sub "PKHeX" look for the master row, click on artifacts which leads to the .zip file for the latest build for PKHeX Mono. Download that .zip and then extract that .zip (Check regularly for updates as the team graciously supplies updates for Mono.) The following are the steps that I take to run PKHeX. Keep in mind that this process of running PKHeX is very buggy. So you should make a backup of your save data before continuing. You will probably encounter the program freezing or even force closing at random times. In order to avoid frustration, I export my SAVEDATA to "main" very often after executing different things in PKHeX. And you can never have too many backups Start Xamarin Studio. After, click the Run tab and then click the Debug Application.. sub. (SCREEN SHOT 1) Browse to the previously unzipped PKHeX Mono Build folder and select the PKHeX.exe and then click Open.(SCREEN SHOT 2) Debugging starts and opens PKHeX. (SCREEN SHOT 3) If anyone has a different method than I do, please share with me as I am very new to these types of things. Please correct me if I am doing these things wrong. Thank you for reading. @Garlic @Keystone @theSLAYER @Kaphotics2 points

Correct, official behavior. Migrated Farfetch'd will have the nicknamed flag ticked and the name set to "FARFETCH D". Please voice any grievance to GameFreak Note: Anything else, if not nicknamed, will become not nicknamed in Gen 7 (e.g. "MEW" -> "Mew", "CHARMANDER" -> "Charmander").2 points

Without checking, are you sure that you didn't enter a name that is profane/filtered?1 point

I would advise against that, though. Both scenerios (ENG shiny Mew and gen 1 shiny Mew) aren't shiny and we should respect others preferences to not want hacks. [but if they explicitly want hacks then, go ahead lol] I've contributed PK1 and PK7 files to our Event Gallery. https://projectpokemon.org/forums/files/category/2-event-gallery/ Browse via Generation > Language. edit For easier reference, this post has access to all the languages:1 point

that is cool information, thanks! Anyway the new update doesn't use .dlls anymore, but it'll be good to know this, in case we switch back1 point

Don't know if it's the right place but a Rare Candy and a Friendball (if success) will be distributed to participants of third global mission. And Mawilite and Beedrilite will be distributed as online competition gift in February as well as other Mega Stones later. Finally Bottle Cap will be distributed in all Game Stores in UK as serial code. Source: serebii.net1 point

Already got a Pull Request to fix this: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/pull/784/commits/b44a2b4623585213049105834de69ebdc218e3501 point

I caught 3 Eevee and 1 Poliwhirl. I still have to get to 7,000 steps tomorrow to even see if Torchic is one of the Pokemon I can currently encounter for that area but thankfully it's the last one. I've also been working on Night's Edge Sky and Suburban area on my English Pokewalkers and sending them to my Japanese game if anybody else has interested in Pokewalker Pokemon in general. (I'm doing this for my own collection regardless.) English Altering cave Pokemon. Save modified by Triggers PC, all caught in Pokeballs by me. 041 - ZUBAT - FC43429F3B30.pk3 179 - MAREEP - 203FAA092C1C.pk3 190 - AIPOM - 4EAFA78A16C9.pk3 204 - PINECO - 438BCA4F9058.pk3 213 - SHUCKLE - 323A2A208D21.pk3 216 - TEDDIURSA - B0887DE50B3B.pk3 228 - HOUNDOUR - 9C51E834621C.pk3 234 - STANTLER - 843AA09DD804.pk3 235 - SMEARGLE - 07896C6D0D8B.pk3 Edit: Getting the steps isn't a problem. I just walked up and down the stairs this morning while bored and let my brothers dog take me for a walk a couple times and I have 7,000 steps in no time. If the group 3 Pokemon I have is Torchic, I *should* be able to have it tomorrow. I'm also gonna go for Fire Red and Leaf Green altering cave Pokemon.1 point

European and US carts are a bit different in a few ways. The carts in the US have the reverse stickers, and YoshiMoshi only currently has a collection of US carts. Like you said, the sticker is probably because of the store-exclusivity thing. European carts went all over European countries at different events and locations, and US carts were specifically in either GameStop or Toys R Us.1 point

I've sold tons of these over the years and I've noted that many European cartridges did not have stickers. This is probably because many events were not store exclusive such as Shelmet/Karrablast and Michina Arceus. Note, my Shaymin EUR cartridge has no sticker and I "leaked" it out the store I used to work in.1 point

I bought a japanese soul silver too. It should arive in my home in about 10 days. Afther that I can try to help with catching these exclusive pokémons1 point

This was the UK 10th Anniversary distro, but I'll check one of my Japanese carts. I'll edit in the result. EDIT: Nope. English-only.1 point

This doesn't distribute to non-english (including german)? I remembered it supposed to be european territories, but I guess I remembered it wrongly1 point

And they likely have a DS Flash Cart to run the ROMs (and homebrew programs) themselves.1 point
-
So all we need is a custom GBA or GameCube/Wii program that sends a multiboot ROM with the generation algorithm and everything else the games need to create the Pokemon and place it in your party. That should be doable, right? *lightbulb* I know it wasn't a 10ANIV event, but maybe we can also figure out how the ROCKS Refresh Metang was generated as well.1 point

I've been told to come here by a user who contacted me on ebay and explain once again. But I feel like I already have a few months ago: Message: Response: There are several other messages after that. In short, I don't sell carts that I've modified, I bought them all just like I sell them. If anyone doubted me because of the decchi file, it is all explained in those pages, and Purin got mails proving that I was scammed So I learned that carts can be modified, but I don't have any equipment to do this. To be honest, after learning that, I really started thinking I was scammed even when I bought the lot of carts, since it seems that in case you have the right nintendo equipment you can do wonderds with it. I called the guy after that discussion, but nothing came out of the convo. I spent much more than I got by selling a few carts in the past few years, and to my knowledge none of the carts are fake but the azure flute one that I binned months ago. I got a loan in order to buy all those carts when I did and I'm still paying money, that's why I sell some sometimes. Prices are not even the ones I listed, it's mostly just to show off, receive offers and talk about other distributions with other people. I don't sell every time, and usually when people contact me we just end up talking about interesting pokemon stuff, and I enjoy that. I'm done talking about this and I don't think I'll keep reading this convo unless someone points it at me again... You can believe they are fake because they do not come with the system. I do own a few of those distribution systems ( quite a few were sold years ago on nintendoage. Shiny Zigzagoon, Aurora EUR, 10ANNIV, Aura Mew) and it doesn't take much to take the cart out of them. And the guy who sold them to me who I personally met to buy the carts didn't look like a scammer to me. And I'm also almost done selling my spare carts, so I won't be called a scammer anymore. Hope you all guys have great holidays.1 point

http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/nintendo-game-boy-content-gb-gbc-gba/save-games/14690-pokemon-gen3-legit-event-pokemon-save-ruby-sapphire-emerald-firered-leafgreen.html This link leads to a FireRed save file absolutely LOADED with LEGIT event Pokémon, INCLUDING Ageto Celebi. It doesn't have a shiny Ageto Celebi, but don't be surprised. That particular shiny 'mon is rare to the point where only a small handful are apparently confirmed to exist. Something about being checked for shinyness TWICE? Whatever. Just download that save file, and either trade via emulator, or drag-and-drop with PKHex. Having gotten a Wishmaker Jirachi from this save, I'll be the first to tell you this is no hoax. BTW, you're welcome.1 point
