  1. I'm fairly certain the VBA emulator has link cable emulation support. Though I mainly uploaded it for historical preservation, and for public knowledge, especially after I saw the demand for it from our researchers. A GBA everdrive will get the job done for those who want to use it if VBA doesn't work. Anyway, i put up two more links if the first one gives anyone trouble. Note, I'm sorry if anyone didn't want this public, but I've been thinking hard about it for a while. I did pay a large amount of money for it so I understand that, but I honestly don't believe GBA distribution roms will make it that much easier to make counterfeits with than with DS distribution roms. It's 2016 and all pokemon distribution related data should be publicly available. We already started with posting our Mew saves regardless the obvious potential repercussions, so why stop now?

  2. I managed to grab the ROM before the post got hidden. It's flashing to my GBA size EZ Flash 3-in-1 as I type this. I'm shaking because I never thought I'd see any of these ROMs release. EDIT: It flashed and I was able to send a Latias to my LeafGreen!

  3. VBA/VBA-M do not support multiboot mode emulation. This should work: 1. Download the latest no$gba emulator. (nocashgba-w-v2.8d) 2. Download the bios file for gba and rename it to gba.rom 3. Place the gba.rom file where the no$gba.exe file is. 4. Open the no$gba file and then go to Options -> Emulator Setup. Now, set: a) Reset/Startup Entrypoint -> GBA/NDS BIOS (Nintendo logo). b) Number of Emulated Gameboys -> 2. c) Link Gamepaks -> Gamepaks in all GBAs. d) Link Cable Type -> Automatic. 6. After you are done with optimazing the settings, go to the no$gba screen and right click -> Link. This should open two gba screens. 7. At the top left, File -> Cartridge Menu (FileName). 8. Check the "Autostart Cartridge" option at the bottom left and choose the "1st machine" option right next to the "Autostart Cartridge" button. 9. Choose as "File name" the rom of the available Gen III games you want to send the pokemon to and click "Open". 10. Repeat the same procedure but this time choose the "2nd machine" option, UNcheck the "Autostart Cartridge" option and choose the GBA distribution rom you want. 11. All you have to do now is follow the steps for the multiboot mode activation. Hold START + SELECT to do so. BE CAREFUL: You have to manually change the controls for each one of the emulated GBAs. The START + SELECT step should be done on the slave GBA aka the gba that emulates the pokemon game rom where the event pokemon are going to be sent to. Thanks @Deoxyz for releasing this! I feel sorry for the people who paid serious money for the genuine gba distribution cartridges.

  4. Use VBA-M Beta 2 https://sourceforge.net/projects/vbam/ Or VBA-M Beta 3 (which I haven't tested yet) https://github.com/visualboyadvance-m/visualboyadvance-m/releases Link support was improved and is mostly stable now. Here's a tutorial for setting up multiplayer http://web.archive.org/web/20151006182128/http://vba-m.com/forum/Thread-multiple-instances-of-vba-m?pid=7684 Thanks Deoxyz for that unexpected christmas gift! And Merry Christmas everybody!

  5. Glad to hear it's the real deal. Couldn't get it working regardless of what emu I was using.

  6. That's reasonable enough Added Clone Searching in latest commit. Manually delete the clones you wish to get rid of. Or... Added Clone Deletion in latest commit. Automatically delete clones based off last modified date.

  7. Interesting. Amongst some of my friends Incineroar was the most popular starter. Online consensus generally seem to favour Decidueye. So I take it Incineroar is very good in-game as well?

  8. I kept Fire time as always. Litten is very cool, unlike Inceneroar. Popplio is very nice but I don't like Water types, while rowlet and his evo are just obscen, like the gen 6 grass starter.

  9. I always go with the Fire starter on my main game. Did restart Sun once to get one of the other starters and I'll be playing through it for its exclusives (as well as another Cosmog and Type: Null for my Living Pokedex) on the save I kept.

  10. I'm not sure why Munna opens in PKHeX while the others won't. But Muna looks fine to me. There are actually 2 things that could indicate none-original skins. If you open the skin in PokeGen you will notice an area above the actual skin that looks like transparency (or the skin is just smaller?). Every BW skin looks like this. If you convert from an image to cgb this area won't be there and is filled with the color of the actual skins background. And here is Mincinno. On the left the proper one and on the right the current one from the gallery. The other thing is, that the pixel column from the very right side is moved to the very left and 1 pixel up. You can see that if you zoom in and compare the two edges at the bottom.

  11. I went with Litten this time. I usually pick the grass starter. I go back to Red and Blue versions (20 years ago) and my first pokemon was Bulbasaur. Since then, I've usually went with the grass type (excluding Snivy - didn't like it, though I love Serperior lol). I'm on the third island at the moment and I have Incineroar, Espeon, Snorlax (evolved from the Munchlax event) and Alolan Ninetales with me. I think the team is pretty balanced, though I need a water type, but Incineroar has massive physical damage output. It completely wrecked the Mimikyu totem with one attack (Darkiest Lariat). I haven't played with the other starters yet, but I got a Popplio through wonder trade with a modest nature. I haven't started training it yet, so I don't know what Primarina is like. Overall, I'm liking the game so far. Its way better than ORAS. I especially loved the reference to Team Rocket and the nugget bridge battles to get the prize at the end (flash back to my childhood) How do you guy like it?

  12. I picked Litten solely on appearance and nothing more. Turns out it was fast enough to handle most opponents it faced and still became quite a valuable member of my team. And knowing Leech Life is amazing too. With the added buff and all. Not disappointed by the starters, but i have yet to try the water one.

  14. I have been collaborating with /r/pokemonexchange to see if we can get contributions. I understand that their community will not be enthusiastic about it, but there are several things we can offer them in return. Additionally, the WC/PKM data would be randomized/touched so it is not exact. That should suffice the need to keep a particular person's data legit and unique. Meanwhile, everyone please reach out to anyone you know who may have these WCs/PKMs.

  15. So i will add a few word of my own regarding the recent changes and happenings. I gotta say, getting the news about the site being hacked was quite the shock. I got messaged the same day Sun/Moon were released so with what i can only describe as a bitter taste in my mouth i started playing the new games and thinking about the memories i had here over the past years. I left this place some years ago, but i always came by to check on things knowing the site is still up, and so are my friends here. One never appreciates something until it's taken away from them. All those moments i've shared with people here were suddenly gone by some hacker group. Ironic isn't it? Regardless of their efforts, PP has risen from the ashes and like a phoenix has breathed new life to our community. I am quite happy things are back to normal, and rather, better than before. The new design of the forums will take getting used to, but i'd like to remind people that it's something that had to be done in order to get things running again and to be safer than before. I welcome the change. Thank you to the team that helped bring back everything! It's with a heavy heart that @Alpha is stepping down, but i wish him the best in his future. And congratulations to the newly promoted staff of our site/community! With these words aside - GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK PROJECT POKEMON!

  17. Hi, I've been researching how the savefile for pokemon dream radar works: http://projectpokemon.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Dream_Radar_Save_File_Structure I just thought I'd make a thread in case anyone is interested in the info, any help will be much appreciated. Also, I've coded a windows save editor and a 3ds homebrew editor, I'll make a thread when I get satisfied with them, for now they're on my github (http://github.com/suloku/), 3ds version is currently more updated and with more features.
