Normaly, distributing ROM hacks for NDS ROMs involves an XDelta patch applied to the entire ROM. 3DS hacks usually involves tedious ROM extraction and file replacement. Patches applied to the ROM as a whole do not support multiple regions of games, and tedious ROM extraction and file replacement is a chore. DS ROM Patcher aims to fix that: a single easily-distributable zip file contains everything that's needed to apply a hack to a ROM. The supported input and output formats are the same as in my .Net 3DS Toolkit: 3DS, CIA, Hans, and Luma Layered FS. Instructions for creating and applying hacks can be found at the GitHub Readme page. Requires the .Net Framework 4.6.2. Download: GitHub4 points

Pokémon core series save editor, programmed in C#. Supports the following files: Save files ("main", *.sav, *.dsv, *.dat, *.gci) GameCube Memory Card files (.raw, .bin) containing GC Pokémon savegames. Individual Pokémon entity files (.pk*) Mystery Gift files (.pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc*) including conversion to .pk* Importing teams from Battle Videos Transferring from one generation to another, converting formats along the way. Data is displayed in a view which can be edited and saved. The interface can be translated with resource/external text files so that different languages can be supported. Pokémon Showdown sets and QR codes can be imported/exported to assist in sharing. We do not support or condone cheating at the expense of others. Do not use significantly hacked Pokémon in battle or in trades with those who are unaware hacked Pokémon are in use. FAQ Support Forum <-- Post here if you have questions or found bugs3 points -
Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your events moderator and forum manager here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their contributions and co-operation thus far! How To Contribute: Wondercard file (WC7/WC7FULL) Extractions can be done via PKHeX or using NTR method (recommended, especially for local events) Requirements for such contribution: 1. DO NOT SUBMIT EDITED/HACKED/FAKE WONDERCARDS 2. Photos of redemption, with proof of user identity (some card with your username) 3. Context: ie. Self obtained? Location? Was it crowded? Collection Process etc. Upcoming and Missing Events: Please do not submit Powersaves extracted entries. edit: table removed. We'll update when we see something. Event Files: Our individual files can be found at our on-site Event Gallery! If you know how to download files from Github (not sorted by region), an overall archive can be found here on our git page. I regularly move old posts to another thread, to prevent cluttering of this thread.3 points

I was one of the lucky ones who won tickets to the event, I got to attend had a fun time there, got to meet Shigeki Morimoto and have some merch signed, got the event Mew and saw some great Team Skull cosplayers. My 3DS was already hacked and I dumped my Pokémon Yellow game save as soon as I got home, unfortunately this site was still hacked at the time. Attached is the dumped Mew file from my extracted sav.dat using JK's Save Manager, as well as screens from PKXDelta. If you need I can also share my sav.dat file. The Mew does indeed have perfect IVs. To clarify, the save was dumped immediately after receiving the Mew, it was never stored in a box. Forthcoming is a video recording of actually receiving the Mew in a trade, and a couple of photos I took. Pokémon Festival UK 22-11-2016 Mew3 points

Magearna's event is not a wondercard, there's nothing to extract -- it's actually a hardcoded in-game event. Here're some QR codes, though: Legitimate US QR code: Legitimate JP QR code: Legitimate EU/AU QR code:3 points

Welcome all, We've rehosted the QR codes to our gallery, here: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/gallery/category/9-qr-codes-for-gen-7/ Additionally, if you want QR scans for the remainder of Pokemon, I've attached the archive that is generated thanks to @SciresM! [it contains all Pokemon starting from Gen I, with the same exceptions of Ultra Beasts, Tapus, Gen VII legendaries] Feel free to Contribute Event QR codes here, Or Ga-ole images for the rarer Pokemon (like Ash-Greninja or Lunala or something) Links for said attachments are below: 2016-09-22 Ga-ole 01 PPorg.rar 2016-09-22 Ga-ole 02 PPorg.rar Gen_VII_Dex_QR_Project_Pokemon.rar Raw_Gaole.rar2 points

This is what happens if you modify the RED english rom like ajxpkm posted (not modifying the JACK name in any way): So, for the UK event, they used a custom VC Pokémon RED that patches the OT name to only be GF. Probably the patch prevents any other name input. It would be interesting to get the patch to know exactly how the modifications for the distribution work, but in any case it seems every single Mew is exactly the same, and those trash bytes are only there because they slipped when patching the name selection screen because removing the second name prevents the third from showing at all, but it still gets into the OT trash bytes. The JAP one does not have trash, mainly because the OT is only 5+terminator bytes long, or maybe because they did it correctly, who knows.2 points

While I didn't manage to win any tickets I turned up to the event anyway and managed to bullshit my way through the Bouncers and Nintendo employees. So I managed to get a Mew which has identical stats and ID/OT to the one posted above. Unfortunately, I stupidly forgot to charge my main 3DS so I had to use my second one which isn't hacked and is on the newest firmware. Luckily I believe you only need the Homebrew Launcher to extract save files and thus PKX files and I have OoT and a Powersaves device so I can install the Homebrew Launcher even on 11.2. However they are on the other side of the country right now so I won't be able to do so for a week or two. Anyway, here are some images of the Mew and from the event. Hopefully they are good enough proof. Glad Project Pokemon is back.2 points

Download Location Here PKMs and SAVs can be injected to 3DS games if you have any of the following: Homebrew Menu & any Save Manager App Hacked Console with Custom Firmware JP Cart+JP System using Cyber Save Editor & Dongle NO POWERSAVES. Datel does not allow edited save resigning. NO SKY3DS EITHER. Save files must be decrypted in order to load & save. Methods how to view (not inject) your Powersaves are in the X/Y Save File Research Thread. Complete list of shortcuts and update history is available within program via Options->About. Please, always keep a backup of your savegames! I'll try to get this decent tomorrow. There are some readme included. FAQ: Q: What's the diference between using any of these injection apps and sending my cartridge to nintendo? A: None. Q: I have a ESP/GER/ITA/FRE game. If I inject the USA Mystic ticket, will this be legit? A: All evidence suggests that the USA Wondercard distributions were compatible with all non-japanese games. Game release dates make it also technically possible to have received an Emerald Mystic ticket on an European game, and we know the USA Aurora Ticket distribution device is compatible with European games (but it only distributed the english wondercard, fully opetational though). - USA and UK games are the very same game rom, so all the english events apply to both, regarless of being European or USA. - The spanish Emerald Aurora ticket wondercard is fine, Nintendo messed up and left Vermillion city instead of updating the wondercard text to Hoenn. The event was never done in Spain, but it could be received at other countries if you used the spanish cart, so it is totally legit, so don't worry, nintendo was very sloppy with this. - Nintendo also messed up the german Eon Ticket (there is photo proof from oficial german distribution that this was already known). WC6Full Plugin Here is my new program. It's not like WC6 Editor (SciresM) but this help it to create full wondercard that will maybe used for not official mystery gift distributions > How does it work? Press Shift + LeftClick to choose between the two different modes available: - WC6 Extractor -> Extract a WC6 (Size 0x108) from a full Wondercard. - WC6Full Creator -> Create a Full WC6 from a normal wondercard. The WC Description can be taken from Bulbapedia > Screenshots > Link: //Mod edit: if you got the link for this, PM theSLAYER, and he'll unlock this and re-upload it here. @Destinyy if you come online and still have this, PM me, I'll unlock this then too1 point

Ever notice how the majority of command-line applications require about a dozen commands for a single logical operation? This tool aims to fix that! Not only is there an easy-to-use GUI, ROMs can be extracted and repacked with a single console command per operation. System requirements: .Net Framework 4.6 Free space on the system drive. Cleanup happens as soon as possible, but especially for larger ROMs, you may need several GB free. Supported formats for extraction: Decrypted CCI (aka .3DS) Decrypted CXI (what Braindump gives you) Decrypted CIA NDS ROM Supported formats for building: Decrypted CCI (aka .3DS) For use with Citra Can be used for Gateway and Sky 3DS (with CFW) if encrypted using Decrypt9 0-Key Encrypted CCI For use with Gateway CIA For use with CFW HANS RomFS, Code.Bin, and Homebrew Launcher Shortcut NDS ROM Planned Features: Copy private header to 0-key encrypted CCI files as they are built. Until this is done, any *.3dz files created are invalid until a private header is added. Credits: @SciresM for 3DS Builder (modified to use command-line arguments) profi200 for Project_CTR's makerom dnasdw for 3dstool @Asia81 for HackingToolkit3DS, which provided the usage for 3dstool. RELEASE: VBA LINK + E-READER There is a VBA version with link cable emulation There is a VBA version with e-reader emulation compatible with raw files But there isn't a version with both emulations at the same time, that's why, using the source code of both versions, that's why I've done a merged version of both VBA in the same emulator. Here it is: I'm not the author of the link emulation nor e9reader emulation, I only mixed both versions in one. This is a merged of VBA-Link 1.73 (link since broken) created by denopqrihg and VBA-Reader created by caitsith (http://www.caitsith2.com/), they are the real authors of these emulations HOW TO EMULATE E-READER WITH POKEMON GAMES Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire JP The American version works exactly like the Japanese, but I'll post pictures of the Japanese version anyway, because the American version is already possible to emulate the e-reader with VBA Link and .sav files 0 - If you want to use an English save, rename the save to have the same name as the Japanese ROM, and the extension must be changed to sa1. For example if we have the ROM Ruby.GBA and Japanese Pokemon "Pokemon Ruby JP.gba" the save "Pokemon Ruby.sav" should be renamed to "Pokemon Ruby JP.sa1" 1 - Open the emulator twice 2 - Load the Rom of Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire in the first emulator and the Rom e-reader + JP in the second emulator 3 - Press start on both emulators 4 - Select the third option of the emulator with Pokémon Sapphire (Mystery Event) 5 - Select the first option in the second emulator . A popup will open , select a raw file corresponding to the version you are using, in my case Pokémon Sapphire JP 6 - Press A on the first emulator and that's it, you have loaded a Japanese trainer or berry 7 - Change back the name of the save as it was originally and you have a Japanese e-reader berry or trainer loaded in an American save Pokémon Emerald / FireRed / LeafGreen Japanese 0 - We can do the same with the saves but this time only with Pokémon Emerald. Japanese and non-Japanese saves for FireRed and LeafGreen are not compatible 1 - Download the following saves already prepared for e-reader (it's on the download page, file name being Pokemon E-Reader Saves.rar) 2 - Open the emulator twice 3 - Load in the first emulator an Emerald/FR/LG ROM and an e-reader + JP ROM in the second emulator 4 - On the emulator with the e-reader ROM select File -> Import -> Battery File and select one of the downloaded saves, corresponding to the game that we are using and click OK. A third option will appear 5 - Pikachu appears. Press A and select a raw file for the e-reader, in this case Pokémon Emerald 6 - A Sandsdrew and 7 holes more will appear and the raw file selection will be open again. At this point you can select up to 8 different cards. If you want to load less than 8 just press cancel on the file selection, then press B and select the first option 7 - Select the third option of the first emulator and press A twice in the first emulator 8 - Then press A on the second emulator. The Sandshrew will the start to move up and down. If all went well the first emulator will restart, indicating that the data loaded properly 9 - Now the trainers will be available on the Trainer Hill. In this case you cant put back in the save in the English versions because the Trainer Hill is incompatible with e-reader and have fixed trainers Source Code All versions of VBA publish the source code and I will not be less (source code has been added to the download page) Huge Thanks VBA-Team for creating the emulator denopqrihg for the link emulation caitsith for e-reader emulation ad2099 to testing this emulator and the save for FireRed & LeafGreen1 point

Following our recent hack, we’ve finally restored our infrastructure: the forums have been migrated to IP.Board, and we’ve brought back the wiki. Special thanks to our entire administration team, @xorhash, and @ReignOfComputer for helping to set things up. Invision Power Board Invision Power Board (IP.Board, IPB) is a state-of-the-art forum software with a better security reputation than vBulletin, which we used to use. As vBulletin 4 approached EOL and clearly showed its age, we were considering how to proceed: with vBulletin 5 or something else entirely. The choice, as you can clearly see, has been made. Some of you have already asked why we didn’t choose the software du jour XenForo. This is due to a few reasons: peer, our new technical administrator, has worked with XenForo in the past and repeatedly hit its (and peer’s) limits. We had an IP.Board license readily available, whereas we’d have had to purchase XenForo separately. Looking at the track record of vBulletin for security, and seeing how XenForo is mostly the old vBulletin guys starting a new project, there were security concerns. If you have any questions about using Invision Power Board, please create a thread in the Forums Feedback forum. Staff Changes Due to concerns in real life, @Alpha has decided to no longer be the primary administrator. This means he’ll still be around, but will be less active than usual. We thank him for his hard work maintaining Project Pokémon, and his absence is a loss to Project Pokémon. Helping to fill his place will be myself and @peer, who is our new technical administrator. Furthermore, we’d like to announce the promotion to super moderator for @Kaphotics, @SciresM, and @theSLAYER. Data Loss The hackers deleted a large quantity of data, including some of our more recent backups. As a result, we have lost one year of forum attachments and a up to a few hours of forum posts. The good news is that @theSLAYER, our event moderator, has stockpiled generations of events and several programs, so the situation could have been far worse. @peer is looking into setting up automatic offsite backups to prevent this from happening again. Hashed passwords are still in the wild. We strongly encourage you to immediately change your passwords here and everywhere you’ve used the same passwords. While hashed passwords are not supposed to be reversible (i.e. your password shouldn’t be able to be derived from the hash), vBulletin’s hashing algorithm is very weak, making it that much more important you change your passwords. The Future Let’s not let the data loss get us down; it’s time to move forward. With the recent release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, there still cool things to discover, technical details to be researched, and ROM hacks to be created. (Not to mention there’s some cool stuff going on in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon side of things - more on this later.) As a reminder, the User-Submitted News forum was introduced a few weeks ago to help bring attention to things such as updates to Save and ROM editors, ROM hacks, and other cool stuff worthy of the front page. If you know of anything noteworthy, post it there so it has a chance to be seen by all! Closing Statements We would like to, once more, apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our staff, create a thread in the appropriate feedback forum, or ask in our IRC channel.1 point

If I get to meet him at Christmas time that'll probably be my only chance to do this, which is before it can be legally transported to Gen 7 anyway. So there might be a chance but I can't promise anything.1 point

It seems like this distribution might be all cloned Mews, hard to be sure unless we get more samples I suppose. Anyway as promised a video of receiving the Mew. And a couple of photos I took whilst at the event. http://imgur.com/a/jTZbg1 point

I can verify that I also get these issues for all legitimately caught QR scan Pokemon. Was looking to report this but I saw this thread was already here. It's likely due to them having moves that are normally not obtained by their wild counterparts. Guess it's just something simple to be updated unless the creator has additional information.1 point

If you can read this, then bug with the status update button on the front page that I mentioned earlier was fixed.1 point

It's still illegal, no method to transfer gen 6->7 exists so those egg moves are not possible. Just because the official online hack check is lacking doesn't mean PKHeX should not flag it. It's something that is not legal for tournament use, hence why it is flagged.1 point

Welp, I know this is a bit of a bump, but I've managed to port both the Player and Partner modifier codes to the European version of the game, and I've been doing some testing with it. So, Void Shadows works with absolutely no problems, even though it has no type. The Move Relearner works no problem, even letting you learn their exclusive moves. The "end of day" cutscenes also work. It uses the proper running animation in towns. Even Dark Matter works, however, you won't be able to move outside of towns. Another problem with these two is that they keep the Ability of the Pokémon they were beforehand. All "real" Pokémon work fine though, including big ones like Dialga. Mega evos too. As seen with Castform above, if any "emotion" portraits exist, they will be used, but if they do not, the game will display a box with a blank blue background instead. Their type and ability should adjust upon leaving the dungeon. The correct moves can be relearnt with Hawlucha. WARNING: ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SAVE WHEN MESSING WITH CODES. Keep in mind that I have not fully played through the game, I used someone else's save to test. Apparently, there's a point in the game where you and your partner evolve temperariy. I do not know what happens there with a non-legit starter, especially with one that has no evolutions, as I haven't tested it. Also note that this is for the European version of the game. The Code: 10A17C2C 00000XXX XXX = The PKMN's ID Pokémon ID no.s can be found here: http://psmd.skyeditor.org/Pokemon Usage: Use NTR Client or the plugin below. Apparently the latest version of Citra has Gateshark cheat support so it should work with that too. If using the plugin, put it in SD:/ plugin/ 0004000000174400. Launch BootNTR and press START + SELECT to bring up the cheat menu. Make sure your starter is no. 1 in the team and your partner is no. 2, then go to a dungeon, enable the code, and use a staircase. It should work. Remember to then turn the code off. Enjoy. Credits to storm75x over on Fort 42 for the American version of the codes. Plugin download: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1-sBoZAiZiGSXZIRUVVRUQxVFk?usp=sharing Let me know if you want me to make an American version of plugin, it could be easily done.1 point

Important Update Regarding Local Events: Data isn't at Boss 0x08000000. Likely to be in Sango-1 or Sango-2 process (displays as either 1 or 2, both doesn't occur at same time, around process 0x002x range), at unknown offset (likely to be 0x08000000) Now, the write up on how to obtain WC6full at Local Events: (providing me these dumps will help to determine the legitimacy of the event) edit: I've yet to test this out at any local event, but I know it works for Internet and serial code events, and should also work, cause it's the same in-game collection process.1 point
