Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green/Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire Action Replay Codes

Recommended Posts

Are you using the given master code? Or are you using your old code list?

Yes I did but can you confirm that these codes work and for the device I have? because from what i've seen other codes of this set have 20+ lines of code just for 1 pokemon.

After a lot of tedious trial and error and testing, I finally managed to get the Japanese Action Replay codes for the Emerald ticket events to work. (For anybody like me looking to get legit, gen 3 ticket event Pokemon)

I entered in the M code and DMA disabler code from the main thread and then the ticket enabler codes. I already activated the tickets on my save long ago. So you shouldn't have any problems getting those to work. I kept pressing the Action Replay button and pressing L + R and that never worked. I tried sailing from a few of the islands themselves to Lilycove and that never worked. Every single time, I flew from Mauville to Lilycove and pressed the Action Replay button and then L + R. If that didn't work, I would soft reset the game ( A + B + START + SELECT) and then continue as usual and the codes worked after that!

I was using a GBA SP, an older model Action Replay and a Japanese Emerald cart. I have no way of backing up or restoring saves to gen 3 carts so this is how I had to do it. Hopefully this helped somebody else.

What about US Ruby version ticket events? were those ever cracked fully?

I was pretty sure I had an Eon ticket code for Ruby and Sapphire but I don't remember now. My Action Replay had to be reset this morning because those things are the most touchy, worthless piece of trash. I have 2 actual eon tickets so I usually just scan those in when I want to now.

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Pokemon Outbreaks

As the events in my post above Pokemon outbreaks are related to TV shows and are generated randomly. You can find a list of the legitimately possible outbreaks on Bulbapedia http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_outbreak#Generation_III

Unfortunately this feature has much more potential then it has been used. Technically there could be even more outbreaks with more variaty (see Strucutre below)!

I decided to only make codes for the official outbreaks for now. The structure is at the end of my post, so you could create your own.

You can only have one outbreak at a time.

Ruby/Sapphire

You have to watch TV first. Press L or R to activate the code.

First of all, thank you for researching this! This is very exciting, I'm adding this to the editor and checking if the surskit swarm on emerald is always the same after mixing records.

Second, I've checked my emerald save with surskit swarm ongoing, and it starts at section 3 0x980. At 0x980 there seem to be se 36 byte slots, each with a different ID. Some are from record mixing, as I can see the ID of the game I mixed with, and some are mine (interviews I think). They may hold data like bough items, pokemon catched and with which ball... that info that you see when you mix records.

Aslo, at 0xC50 in this save I currently have 3 tv announcements: 1 for the outbreak (already seen) and two more that will pop up the following day, as the counter is still at 3 (IDs 0x01 and 0x03).

EDIT: on another save I have 4 announcements, may test later how many they are actually.

I agree the only interesting tv event are outbreaks, but still seems interesting.

BTW, surskit swarm data (the save is just after watching the event on tv):

29 00 00 00 91 00 62 00 00 00 00 00 37 01 00 00
11 00 00 32 03 00 00 00 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
AA AA BB BB

AAAA: Game TID
BBBB: TID of the game it was mixed from

Swarm extra data :
37 01 11 00 03 00 00 00 91 00 62 00 00 00 00 00
00 32 02 00

EDIT: Ok, the mix records outbreak doesn't get added to 0x8CC (emerald), but I've checked another save with a normal seedot swarm and it is there. At 0x980 it seems there's room to store 7 (need to check if there can be more) TV programs, the ones that get stored via mix records and other that get generated in-game (like the interview battle). The record mixing surskit swarm gets added to this list and not to the common pokemon outbreak region that is generated in-game.

For the surskit mixed swarm save, it would seem the normal outbreak region (0x8cc in emerald) is all 0x00, except for species, which is 0x0059. I don't know if this is relevant in any way, I'll have to mix records and check the before and after savegames.

It would also seem that when the "in-game" outbreak gets seen, the data at 0x8cc gets erased (again, needs confirmation).

Other TV program IDs I've seen in my saves:

16 - in game or mixed
18 - in game or mixed
19 - in game or mixed
1A
1C
21
25
29 - outbreak ( appears as program at 0x980 region for mix records, at 0x8CC for in-game outbreak)

In game or mixed: the TV program appears when mixing records referring to the mixed OT or in-game referring to the Game's OT

The structure for what I've seen (each tv program is 36 bytes long)

0x00 - Program ID
0x01 - Status?

Is there a code, or better said does anyone hava a code to reset the fossil guy in the lab on cinnabar island?

When you use the same code to get al 3 starters (usefull code btw) to get both fossils in mt. moon, the guy only does 1 of those and the amber, it would be a usefull code for those who want to hack fossils in and keep ressurrecting those, so yeah anyone got that very specific code for those that want it?

How exactly does the Walk in Menu code work for LeafGreen?  My Action Replay (the one that has a printer cable port on the side, v3.3) keeps deleting the last two lines of it, which is weird...

Would anyone happen to have the Southern Island and Navel Rock event enabler codes for Emerald in Codebreaker/GameShark SP form? By that I mean the codes that'll actually activate the events that'll allow me to go to the islands via the S.S. Tidal, not a warp code. I have all the event tickets in my save, but none of them allow me to go to those specific islands, and the codes that are posted here are in a format that my GameShark SP doesn't support.

Likewise, does anyone have the event enabler code that activates the MysticTicket and AuroraTicket in LeafGreen? I have the tickets in my LeafGreen, but I've yet to find a Gameshark code that enables the items (by that I mean that I want the sailor in Vermilion City to accept the tickets so that the Seagallop ferry will take me to the two event islands). I managed to find a code that enables the tickets in FireRed, but the same code apparently won't work on LeafGreen.

This site should allow you to convert code between various formats.

Don't know if anyone can help me with this, but I was trying to input the "get any item in the Pokemart" codes but I'm having no luck at getting them to work. could someone please walk me thru it? I'm using the Action Replay GBA/DS combo.

you can use the program attached in this post to generate items in your pc.

Are there any Action Replay enabler cheat codes to enable the Aurora Ticket and Mystic Ticket to travel to Navel Rock/ /Birth Island on the Japanese FireRed and LeafGreen versions?

@Demonic722 Do you think you can convert the codes in the op to work on japanese games?
