This is a release of a hypothetical 'Pokémon Green', combining the aspects of both Japanese Pokémon Green & Blue that got left on the cutting room floor in the making of the international releases of Pokémon Red & Blue. It's namesake and visuals come from Japanese Green, along with the Pokémon sprites, overworld tileset, slot machine graphics, and layout for Cerulean Cave. (Did YOU Know? Pokémon Green had it's own exclusive Super GameBoy palette? It seems Jp Blue was built off of Red, and then they forgot about it when making Red & Blue, just reusing the Red one twice. Every town across Kanto had their colors slightly shifted from what was released in the West. Cinnabar Island almost got off clean, except the background shade of white has been changed across the board to be more green.) Then from Japanese Blue comes the wild encounter tables, along with the in-game trades and game corner prizes. This also meant localizing the default names and nicknames for in-game traded Pokémon. For the player and rival names; apart from the primary colors; the options were ツネカズ (Tsunekaz) and ジャン (Jean) for the player, and ヒロシ (Hiroshi) for the rival. Thankfully no work was needed, as the first two already have associated Jp to Eng names from Fire Red/Leaf Green in 'Kaz' and 'Janne'. Meanwhile Hiroshi is a reference to 'Ritchie', a challenger from the anime's first Pokémon League. Here are the in-game trade nicknames that were localized: Route 2: Jigglypuff for Mr. Mime まさる / Masaru - Victor Underground Path (Rt. 5–6): Rattata for Poliwag ロモたん / Romo-tan - Swirly Route 11: Rhydon for Kangaskhan ロダン / Rodan - Rodin Route 18: Persian for Tauros: ぎゅうた / Gyūta - Beefy Cerulean City: Machoke for Haunter (Gengar) ゴーすけ / Ghosuke - Casper Vermilion City: Pidgey for Farfetch'd アッカ / Akka - Quacks Pokémon Lab: Kadabra for Graveler (Golem) さぶろう / Saburō - Moe Pokémon Lab: Seel for Slowpoke オスカル / Oscar - Oscar Pokémon Lab: Growlithe for Krabby どうらく / Dōraku - Rascal That's it. No new features, no quality of life improvements. Just good ol' 1998 Gen 1 Pokémon. GameShark codes should work from Red Version, but due to re-importing the Jp Red/Green Pokémon sprites, thing had to get moved around in the disassembly's layout.link, so yea... Just save before trying any cheat codes. Features: Pokémon Green Super GameBoy border and palette. Pokémon Green title screen & rotating title screen Pokémon. Pokémon Red & Green front facing Pokémon battle sprites. Pokémon Green Slot Machine Graphics. Pokémon Red & Green Cerulean Cave layout. Pokémon Blue localized default player/rival names. Pokémon Blue wild encounter/safari tables. Pokémon Blue in-game trades with localized names. Pokémon Blue Celadon Game Corner prizes. GitHub Repository: Latest Release-

Luxrayboy789 replied to Luxrayboy789's topic in Pokémon Legality
Sorry i meant, those PID's create a Method H1 Syncrhonize encounter. And are flagged as illegal. -
I restarted the game on Desmume and the glitch still happens where it freezes in between dungeon floors

PKHex Missing Legality Checks for Method_H1-PID=0000000X
Kaphotics replied to Luxrayboy789's topic in Pokémon Legality
Your example screenshot is a level 5 Eevee; a level 5 Eevee can only arise from an Egg in Gen3, which do not get generated with a Method 1 (Wild) correlation. Breeding eggs to have Method 1 PIDs is an anti-pattern novelty that is more likely to be cheated than naturally encountered. If you want to allow Eggs to have arbitrary PID types that they shouldn't have (aka, 2^32 chance to randomly match), then you must change the legality checker settings from the default which flags it. -
Hello everyone, I see that PKDen has been removed from the downloads section. I didn't receive a notice from a moderator so I'll assume it was removed permanently. To download the latest version go to https://github.com/ScoopDunk/PKDen/releases/tag/V0.1.3 V0.1.3 now includes a Pokedex, higher resolution sprites, a save directory and more customization options.

Delta is garbage. If you have a quick save in dungeon it's doomed to crash at the same point if you started the dungeon on Delta too...

Hi could you please add the legality checks/flags for this PID=0000000F & PID=0000000A please? I believe this is the chart of the frames and seeds, so they're obtainable legaly. I only have proof of those 2 PID, but i think all natures are obtaina ble. I haven't tried calm nature, but i know you can get access to the game as early as the frame 340 so you still have a gap to get to the frame 343 with the delay of 18. All the seeds and advances are for breeding in FR/LG || S/R 3 Gen. Here are listed the Seeds for the Wild encounters H1

trying to recover my Pokemon Ruby sav file
Kaphotics replied to warxlord's topic in Miscellaneous Help
Correct, PKHeX tells you the save file is empty if you try to load it: Not a valid save file dump. -
from me (not a pro), but i opened even on a hex editor and the file is completely empty, nothing is written in the file, so probably a corrupted file and nothing could be done. But in any case wait that some one with more knowledge can potentially help you, i know your frustration about losing your old childhood save and all the the little Pokemon that you had and could be brought back, but this file is completely corrupted (this file is like a empty notepad).

You’re the first person I’ve seen having the same issues as me. I’ve used Delta emulator on iPad and even reset the game and used Desmume on PC with the same issues. I can’t get past floor 4 in mystifying forest for months now.
-
Okay I’ve used Delta emulator and Desmume on PC and I keep having the same issues and keep making it so far in the story and have to reset because it freezes in between floor levels in a dungeon where the screen stays black. Is anyone else having that issue?

In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, other trainers involved in the Record Mixing will get their party that was used in the Battle Tower conquest saved into the player's save. The recorded trainers can occasionally be found and challenged at the spot where their Battle Tower streak ended. This tool was developed in part to extract and recreate long lost data, as per described in this thread. Please note that data isn't completely stored in the save, and it attempts to recreate the Pokémon as best as it can. It will also attempt to legalize the extracted Pokémon, but sucess isn't guaranteed. User intervention is more than likely required. Examples of what you can use this for Extracting and recreating long lost Pokémon, whether is it from a Record Mixed alt, or from sibling or friend (only do so if you have permission!) How it works and what it is implemented Record mixing stores data in the save. Plugin users those bits and pieces to attempt to recreate a Pokémon (you can read about it in the linked thread above). Plugin also attempts to legalize the Pokémon. There are a few rounds of legalization attempts (not listed in any order; it is done via nested loops): 1. Rotates between Poké Ball and Safari Ball (checks bred vs met in Safari Zone) [allows for color based ball matching, if legal and not Safari] 2. Rotates between Version Met (also toggles/rotates between Fateful Encounter Flag and National Ribbon, because of CXD origin) 3. Rotates based on PID type (CXD, eggs, attempts to force PID None to Method 1 using PID>Seed) How to use Put the plugin into the plugins folder in your PKHeX directory, then access it from the Tools menu. Note: Win 10 might block DLL files downloaded from the internet. In that case right click the plugin file, go to properties and check "unblock" (as seen here). [You may have to unblock, reblock, then unblock again to get it to work] Example of how to unblock: Usages Load a RSE save, then go to the plugin. You can view the recorded entries, and send a Pokémon to viewer. The plugin will attempt to legalize the Pokémon, but success isn't guaranteed. Support As Japanese saves, as well as some Emerald saves, have not been fully tested, issues are to be expected. For help and bug reporting, go here (providing a description and a save, as per the first post, is greatly appreciated). Credits Kaphotics for PKHeX. BlackShark for pointing me towards RSE disasembly for the various trainer classes. Admiral_Fish for RNGReporter and Pokefinder. -

Yeah, I noticed the latter in particular was of extremely limited use. If you're not even sure where the latter's files are I wouldn't fret too much, I just noticed it wasn't working because of curiosity, not an actual use case. Is there another tool that can do what the first one does? I did use that today to generate a foreign-language Ditto for breeding. (Though that was the first time, so still possibly very low use.) -

Didn't think anyone is using these. I'll need to check if I still have the project files for these, and would need to adopt them for the new working environment I'm on. Thanks for this. -

Additionally, with your GP1 Editor for the Let's Go games. The "Blank slot" button doesn't actually clear the slot correctly. The game still treats it as occupied, and then when you try to load into that park crashes from trying to load the invalid data. If you export a slot blanked naturally by the game and import .gp1 that into the slot you wish to clear it does work correctly. So I've attached what a correctly blanked slot should look like. 0000 - Egg - Lv. 01 - 01.01.01 - CP 0001 (Moves 000, 000).gp1
