ppre PPRE Skiploom & Jumpluff moveset bug
dropthesloth154 posted a topic in Project Pokémon Feedback
Hi, I've recently been using PPRE to change up a heartgold rom. I've been making a lot of changes, including to some pokemon. Weirdly enough skiploom and jumpluff learn moves I did not put in the movesets at all. I noticed this first when during one test, a trainer in kanto had skiploom and jumpluff that knew dragon rage. Now I'm using hoppip in another test and when it evolved at level 18, skiploom wanted to learn stone edge 3 times and captivate once. None of these moves are in its moveset and I don't get why this happened. Skiploom doesn't even learn moves at level 18. Can anyone explain why this might happen? -
Hay I need help badly, I've asked on discord but when I look it up on google (like some people have said to do) there are no helpful results... all I'm asking is for help with some competitive move sets for my Pokémon in gen 3, in this case emerald/colo. I need help with three move sets for Salamance for two event eggmoves and one for a normal in game eggmove, ill list them below. Moves: * iron defense * wish * hydro pump some of the most reliable sites were of no help when it came to move sets for these moves. even looking up "competitive (insert listed move here) salamance" resulted in no help at all just info for move sets for gens that are not gen 3 but had the moves in them. (granted smogon did have one for wish but not the set I thought was helpful sents I don't really use moves like protect that much) I really need help with these move sets for gen 3, if anybody can help plz respond im about to give up looking for these sets and just focus on other Pokémon….

 Hi, my name is Vulkan(Obviously)and i'm a long time pokemon fan, and first poster/pkm gts downloader. I been wondering since recently if it could be possible to take a pkm file (say for example a nidorino) and edit it's sprites so it would look different than ANY of the other pokemon. I believe this would be theoretically possible, but, now that I think about it the game might not recognize the pkm file. If it is, would someone offer help me create the sprite (I'm not a spriter :frown:) and, if it's also possible, change the moveset [including the moves learned through evolution(ex: NIDORINO learned Horn Attack! changes to maybe NIDORINO learned Roar of Time!P]. If this does work I might be able to take the file and upload it to Pokedit and send it to my game through the GTS. If anyone AT ALL knows how to or if this would work, please answer. Someone might be able to make an entire website or program off of it. Sincerely, A Young Curious Trainer, Vulkan

Hi there! Does Spiky's Map Editor support editing the learnsets of Pokemon (what level do Pokemon learn which moves) in HGSS? If so, I can't figure out how in that program. If not, is there a different program that would let me do so? Please help. Thanks!

If you were able to use four moves from the Pokemon Series at any time, for any reason, what four moves would you know? In other words... What would your moveset be? Secondly, why would you like these moves and what would you use them for? Note that all moves would have to work the same way they do in the game! For the purpose of this topic, let's say that sleeping is the Pokemon Center and it is the only way to recover PP. --- My Moveset would be: Aeroblast Aeroblast would serve many purposes. First off, this big tunnel of destructive wind would be very impressive! Amaze your friends and family! Secondly, you could definately satisfy your urge to knock down trees and houses with it, and probably defend yourself with it. Unlike Sacred Fire or something similar, you don't have the chance of setting yourself or others on fire. Me First Now, I'm not hesitant of using a completely awesome move such as Me First because I know that I have pretty good reflexes and could potentially use this to great effect. Someone punching you? Nope! "Me First" and punch them harder! Protect The chance to protect yourself from life-threatening events should not be underestimated. A large flaw is how it fails after repeated attempts. Recover Recover could help you heal that sprained ankle, recover from brain damage, reattach that limb, all sorts of things. In fact, I don't see why someone wouldn't fit a recovery move in their moveset. (I know that everyone heals themselves over time, but this would be much more helpful!)

As I said in my intro, I learned VB Express in school, and did really well. I decided to try to make a pokemon program. Anyways, I got up to displaying the OT, but I'm lost now. I know where the OT is in regards to the offset, but I'm stumped how I would convert it. For one, I have no clue what it converts to, maybe Unicode or ASCII. So if someone could help me with that, I'd be grateful.

Yesterday Pokesav screwed up the r4 SAV file I was editing and I ended up losing the legit lv100 Froslass I had traded over from my original Diamond. (I know, stupid me for not backing up first.) Anyway I managed to reconstruct a new, legal Froslass with exactly the same stats and exactly the same moveset (Grudge-Confuse Ray-Shadow Ball-Ice Beam) as my old Froslass and traded it back to my original game. I then decided I didn't want Grudge anymore so I went to the Heart Scale dude in Pastoria. When I went there, though, the only moves that the new Froslass could remember were its default moves Powder Snow, Leer, Astonish, and Double Team, and not any of the moves it would learn through level up like Destiny Bond (at lv59) or Blizzard (at lv51), or even the moves it used to have as a Snorunt like Hail (at lv40) So, is there any way to use Pokesav to make Pokemon remember ALL the moves theyr'e supposed to learn through level up using heart scales?

I was wondering if it is possible to change an in-game pokemon's moveset or alter them in general. I have looked around on pokesave and the action replay and I can't find anything on it. Does anyone know how to do this or if it can be done?
