About Me

Friend Code (Nintendo Switch)

Friend Code (3DS)

NNID (Wii U)

  1. Well, my friend wants to get into competitive battling, but, I don't have many Pokemon to lend him. You will be trading the Pokemon to me. Can someone make him a team as follows?; Thank you Dems.
  2. Could you rate my team so far? Shiny Gardevoir ''Zelda'' @ leftovers Burn Wish Support Evs: 252 HP / 48 SpA / 176 SpD / 32 Spe Ability: Trace Nature: Gentle (+SpD -Def) ~ Wish ~ Will-O-Wisp ~ Reflect ~ Psychic Shiny Umbreon ''Twilight'' @ leftovers Support Evs: 252 HP / 92 SpD / 164 Spe Ability: Synchronize Nature: Gentle (+SpD -Def) ~ Moonlight ~ Toxic ~ Payback ~ Baton Pass Suicune ''Swiicune'' @ leftovers Physical Wall Evs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 6 Spe Ability: Pressure Nature: Bold (+Def -Atk) ~ Calm Mind ~ Ice Beam ~ Surf ~ Substitute Feraligatr ''Gatorade'' @ life Orb Physical Sweeper Evs: 32 Hp / 252 Atk / 220 Speed Ability: Torrent Nature: Adamant (+Atk -SpA) ~ Dragon Dance ~ Ice Punch ~ SuperPower ~ Substitute Magmortar 'Bowser'' @ life Orb Mixed Sweeper Evs: 84 Atk / 252 SpA / 172 Spe Ability: Flame Body Nature: Adamant (+Atk -SpA) ~ Lava Plume ~ Thunderbolt ~ Hidden Power Ice ~ Cross Chop
  3. Alright, so I'm completely new to Pokesav, and I'm trying to make a team that passes Nintendo's checks. Problem is, I'm having a real hard time doing it. Could anyone take a look at these Pokemon and tell me what's wrong? They don't pass the battle video check. And again, I'm a complete newbie, so it's probably a really obvious mistake. This also isn't an original team, it's a team someone at Smogon posted, and I was just trying it out to see what works so I can build my own. I'm new to competitive battling too. azelf.pkm empoleon.pkm gengar.pkm infernape.pkm jirachi.pkm suicune.pkm
  4. Recently I've started playing my Leaf Green again and just forgot how fun it was despite all its shortcomings. Here's my in-game team right after I finished the league, what's yours? [sprite]012[/sprite] Liberty the Butterfree (F) Level 52 Timid Compoundeyes HP 140 Attack 51 Defense 66 Sp.Atk 130 Sp.Def 97 Speed 124 - Psybeam - Silver Wind - Sleep Powder - Whirlwind Uses: - Useful Pokemon from the beginning - Very accurate Sleep Powder - Sleep Shuffling with Whirlwind = fun - Silver Wind (despite being physical in Gen III) can be useful SOMETIMES with that 10% chance of boosting all stats - Destroyed Agatha's team single-handedly [sprite]018[/sprite] Osprey the Pidgeot (F) Level 52 Jolly Keen Eye HP 166 Attack 123 Defense 84 Sp.Atk 79 Sp.Def 85 Speed 156 - Wing Attack - Quick Attack - Whirlwind - Featherdance Uses: - Yeah yeah. We all know even FEAROW is infinitely better than Pidgeot but I like Pidgeot so you competitive people stop staring at me for using one - Featherdance reduces the opponent's Attack Power by 2 levels, which is pretty cool. - Whirlwind for phazing... no clue why when Butterfree can make better use of it. I might just replace it with Fly. - Quick Attack finishes off weakened foes with STAB, Wing Attack for main STAB attack - Osprey was pretty good for the beginning and the middle game... until I reached Victory Road and all, I began to realize how Wing Attack failed to OHKO level 43 Machokes. But I'm still keeping Osprey anyways. [sprite]031[/sprite] Regina the Nidoqueen (F) Level 53 Naughty Poison Point HP 181 Attack 145 Defense 111 Sp.Atk 103 Sp.Def 88 Speed 96 - Body Slam - Double Kick - Thunderbolt - Surf Uses: - One of my main early game Pokemon which helped me secure some victories. Somewhat bulky (although Zapdos's Drill Peck did like 40% damage on her) and with an insane movepool - Double Kick over Superpower because Double Kick KOs those normal Pokes anyhow and it has more PP. Besides I don't like that attack/def drop either - Body Slam as main regular attack... 2-3HKOs most stuff not Rock/Steel in-game and has that chance of paralysis - Surf for those Rocks - Thunderbolt for Gyarados and other nuisances... although it failed to OHKO either - Poison Point sometimes helps... in fact quite a lot to ensure stuff gets KO'd before the opponent Full Restores or whatnot - Usefulness is slowly dwindling thanks to those mediocre stats but fairly reliable [sprite]038[/sprite] Kitsune the Ninetales (F) @ Charcoal Level 51 Timid Flash Fire HP 151 Attack 87 Defense 96 Sp.Atk 132 Sp.Def 112 Speed 159 - Flamethrower - Will-O-Wisp - Confuse Ray - Safeguard Uses: - A relatively new addition to the team... added right before I faced Erika... and then swept her with this. - Flamethrower is her main attack... but it runs out so easily seeing how it is the only attack she has. It's actually quite strong because it OHKOs-2HKOs almost anything that Kitsune has faced - Will-o-Wisp to burn physical stuff - Confuse Ray just for fun... it's not like she can do much else - Safeguard supports the team by preventing status from hitting - She's the annoying one in this team. Very quick/confuses/burns/can't get hit with status of your own/STAB Flamethrowers... yeah, painful for the AI. Quite useful actually but she really can't take much hits. Otherwise she's proven to be one of my most useful unit for the game. [sprite]071[/sprite] Vicky the Victreebel (F) @ Miracleseed Level 52 Naughty Chlorophyll HP 161 Attack 173 Defense 82 Sp.Atk 121 Sp.Def 72 Speed 94 - Razor Leaf - Growth - Acid - Sleep Powder Uses: - I got Vicky during the Nugget Bridge thing and made it my main grasser. Unfortunately she was also the HARDEST thing to train. 10 PP Vine Whip... from level 12... and Wrap of all useless moves. I had to wait until level 21 to evolve... and level 24 to learn Acid. Finally at level 42... 42 she decided to learn Razor Leaf. But still, Vicky was quite helpful - Sleep Powder... because... I said so... (everything wakes up in one turn when they face me >.>) - Acid... it OHKOs a lot of things for some reason, but I can't wait until I get Sludge Bomb. - Growth to boost up those Razor Leafs... (might get Swords Dance to complement Sludge Bomb) - Razor Leaf is my other STAB to take down waters and grounds (watches in horror as it misses) and even after + 2 Growths, it wouldn't OHKO Lapras while Lapras OHKOd Vicky with Ice Beam (fail) - Somewhat useful but at other times she fails... although Acid OHKOs most nooblings anyhow. That makes her useful in many ways. [sprite]009[/sprite] Turtle the Blastoise (F) @ Mystic Water Level 54 Calm Torrent HP 187 Attack 93 Defense 138 Sp.Atk 120 Sp.Def 133 Speed 107 - Protect - Rapid Spin - Ice Beam - Surf Uses: - My starter Pokemon. Yes people, I picked Blastoise, the least useful of the three. And yes, I use Pokemon that no one else likes to use. And yes, I picked Hitmonchan over Hitmonlee back at the Fighting Dojo! *inb4competitivebattlersflamemeforsuchdecision* - Protect for scouting what AI does - Rapid Spin... I don't even know why I'm keeping this move. It serves me no purpose in-game aside from slowly chipping Pokemon's HP away to help me capture it - Surf is my STAB move and does consistent damage - Ice Beam is my auxilary move for fliers/grassers/dragons/etc... - As sturdy as Turtle is, it sometimes doesn't do enough damage back to the opponents, although Turtle wins most of the time. There has been little to no problems with it. My SAV file is attached below... Leaf Green.sav
  5. Updating this RMT because I love this team so much, it is much better than I expected. I've used it over a hundred times, funny thing is it has a winning ratio against standard teams. I'm updating it, give off any suggestions, opinions =) Anything bold is what has been updated Hello I'm from the shoddy battle server of project pokemon, awesome site When I make teams I ussually like restricting myself to a sorta style, and I thought a unpredictable normal team! Smeargle lvl 15 - Focus Sash 252 atk 252 spe Ivs: 0 HP Trick Room Endeavor Spore Beat Up The ultimate F.E.A.R pokemon, people do not expect this strange beast. Facing a highly unprepared foe could result in two KOs or more (My most is four). I get the biggest kick in using beat up, it makes the opponent think I've revealed my team, only to realize I have completely different pokemon. The reason for it being lvl 15 with 252 atk is to do heavy damage to gengar with beat up My Smeargle I hope people won't predict. It's moves go in this order, 1. Trick Room, Spore, Endeavor, Beatup rinse and repeat. So far I have been able to take as much as three pokemon out. I'm not sure why but when I trick room-endeavor it does as much as damage as I would do in low health (even when I'm full health) I choose beat up as the finisher because it shows all the names of my pokemon which... I name to different pokemon to throw people off (Blissey is named Tyranitar) Ambipom - Focus Sash 252 Atk 252 Spd (+Attack -Special Defence) Technician Fake Out Last Resort Never has been the star of the show, but it still has it's uses, one extremely lucky time he almost sweeped a team with 3 crits , might replace this with F.E.A.R Clefable what do you think? This has two purposes 1. If there is no spikes or whatnot laid out I bring it in and last resort till it die (ghost pokemon ruin the fun and I must switch out) This also always seems to beat an infernape 1on1 2. If there are spikes which ruin the focus sash I use it to pick off already weak foes Blissey - Leftovers 252 Def 126 SpA 126 SpD (+Defence -Attack) Serene Grace Protect Wish Seismic Toss Toxic blah standard blissey, she's a special wall. It's the stalling set My special wall which always comes on top of special sweepers, I love it. It also is a cleric Slaking - Choice Scarf 252 Atk 252 Spd (+Attack -Special Attack) Giga Impact Earthquake Fire Punch Nightslash with the right predictions... nah I just use Giga Impact, I've OHKOed Luke with it, so it has do be deezed. Earthquake n TP is there for good measure. Nightslash is for those pesky ghost. My physical Revenge Killer, no one seems to think it's fast (which it is) Giga Impact it the main move as it pairs with his 160 base attack and stab which does major damage which I don't mind the recharge for obvious reasons (although it disables me from retreating) Earthquake is always good, and beats pokemon that resist giga impact Nightslash for ghost pokemon Togekiss - Choice Scarf 252 SpA 252 Spd (+Speed -Attack) Serence Grace Air Slash Tri Attack Aurasphere Shadowball I usually just use airslash flinch haxs, it's cheap and effective. I occasionally have to use shadowball to ghost though, and auraphere is steel. My special revenge killer/sweeper. Serene grace because a 40% chance to burn, freeze or paralyz (can't spell) is awesome Aurasphere to pokemon once again that resist tri attack People laugh at me when I have shadowball on togekiss but I need to in order to stand a chance to against ghost pokemon which I struggle with a lot. Air Slash for stab flinch hacks Snorlax - Leftovers (+Defense -Minus Special Attack) Thick Fat Curse Outrage Rest Sleep Talk Info: My only new pokemon in the squad, before it was clefable. He's a tank that absorbs sleep and I put him in if trick room is still in effect. He's biggest problem is SD Luke. It's basically Curse talking snorlax. But with outrage, now many people question this, why not stab body slam? why not an attack that doesn't trap and confuse you? - Well I used outrage over bodyslam to hit ghost - Also every other move is x4 resisted by some pokemon, but there is no pokemon that x4 resist a dragon move, because only steel resist dragon. And with 4 or more cursing, steel pokemon are 2-3HKOed pokemon with a x2 (Metagross was 2HKO with full health) - The confusion is a problem, but missing a turn actually isn't a big deal, he's a tank. any damage is minimal and my leftovers heal it, and that's if it connects. - The trapping effects don't really matter, I'm going to stay - Sleeptalking an Outrage also prevents getting trapped and confused, which I usually do. It may sound like I'm just trying to defend this pokemon using outrage, but trust me it is very effective, I have countless logs proving it's effectiveness Old pokemon Clefable - Toxic Orb Magic Guard Facade Trick Wish Protect I wanted to put this pokemon in because it screams awesomeness with the creative ways it can be used. Toxic orb because magic guard nullifys the damage and makes facade a whomping 140 damage. When Toxic Orbs use is done I trick if I can
  6. Keep in mind this team uses a few HMs (even though Surf is commonly used competitively) because I hate swapping with the PC to surf/fly. It's probably pretty bad, but I'm curious to see where I can go with this competitively since I've done really all there is to do in the real game. This is my result after some intensive leveling and a pretty standard play-through. All EVs/IVs I can change per request, but I'll list what I have now. All natures are a result of decently high IVs (but not all 31 or anything). All pass legal checker and are able to be uploaded in a battle video to the GTS. ANY suggestions welcome. 7. This is, for the most part, my first team I actually put some thought into on Shoddy. I've greatly enjoyed being able to have nearly every legal move available with a few clicks instead of "ah screw it, too much breeding." Based off of one of the better rater's teams at SPPF. His original team is located here The Lead of Awesome sillyhatsonly (Bronzong) @ Flame Orb Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 HP/88 Def/168 SDef Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Light Screen - Gyro Ball/Earthquake - Confuse Ray - Trick This is basically THE lead that works against all the common leads nowadays. People who think they'll be keeping that Metagross or Swampert around so they can wall teams to no end HATE this guy. They set up Stealth Rock, I give them a Flame Orb and take their Leftovers. Against other Bronzong leads, well, they NEVER pack Trick. I usually get a Lum Berry if I'm up against a Trick Room Zong. Sometimes Meta might give me a Occa Berry. This serves as a pretty decent special wall without having to resort to Blissey. Confuse Ray helps force out some switches (especially if Magnezone comes in, which can be annoying). Due to Magnezone being a fairly common switch in, I'm thinking of ditching Gyro Ball for Earthquake. Light Screen is great team support, and since Rotom is packing Reflect and WOW, I think LS works best here. The leads that give me problems are quick Taunters, which are usually the common suicide leads, or a few of the Fake Outers. With the exception of Weavile, I usually end up switching in the Rotom form. Weavile w/ Pursuit would screw him over, and that usually isn't seen often. Smeargle/Breloom with Spore usually means Tentacruel is gonna go to sleep. Machamp is seriously annoying, but is a fairly rare lead. --- The Physical Sweeper (pic removed, it was huge) Infernape (M) @ Choice Band Ability: Blaze EVs: 56 HP/252 Atk/200 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Close Combat - Stone Edge - U-turn - Fire Punch Everyone just assumes it'll be some MixApe. But why not just use that ridiculous movepool Ape gets and aim for one stat? With the additional bulk, it helps Ape comes in on NFE hits and still survive, making him a decent check on Scizor and some of the Rotom forms. Flare Blitz is not favorable due to recoil. Thunder Punch was tested out, but I found it fairly redundant with Rotom around. After the inevitable Rotom/other ghost is gone, I've had Close Combat just sweep half of a team. Scizor, Heatran, Kingdra, Vaporeon, Skarmory, they all HATE coming in on it. And the only ones with a chance to do anything are those packing priority (ExtremeSpeed, Bullet Punch), and he resists steel! --- The Lead in the Middle Swag (Swampert) (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Torrent EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 SDef Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd) - Stealth Rock - Roar - Ice Beam - Earthquake After I ditch the Flame Orb and maybe set up Confuse Ray, this guy comes in. He's not vital to my strategy, so I'm okay if he dies off after SR is set up. But man, is it great to scout teams with Roar and let them rack up SR damage. Roar is also a great check on Calm Mind Suicune and other would be sub-abusers. --- Obligatory Rotom Forme (no horrible image available) sledgehammer (Rotom-c) @ Leftovers Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 HP/160 Def/56 Spd/40 SAtk Bold nature (+Def, -Atk) - Will-o-wisp - Reflect - Leaf Storm - Discharge I've gottena lot of "lol no Shadow Ball?" but it's job isn't to fight ghosts. It's a great check on Gyarados and Swampert. Scizor's Pursuit does lol damage after WOW is on, and even worse with Reflect. This is by far the best thing about Shoddy, Rotom forms, and I can't wait to try the others out. I haven't had too many problems with Heatran switch ins, which I haven't seen too much of lately. But they take decent enough damage from Discharge anyway. This is also the guy that handles most of the suicide leads, and I usually end up with 50% or more health left over. --- Spinner shedinja (Tentacruel) (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Liquid Ooze EVs: 252 HP/76 Def/160 SDef Bold nature (+Def, -Atk) - Knock Off - Rapid Spin - Swagger - Surf Yeah, no one is particularly SR weak, but that and Spikes, I just don't like the damage racking up. If it comes out early, I can usually predict a Rotom switch in and Knock Off their Leftovers. RS for obvious reasins. Swagger because Confuse Ray is apparently illegal. Surf because Heatran and others were giving me too much trouble without a decent attack. I originally had Icy Wind to help slow some foes down, but it wasn't worth the move slot. It does add another grass weakness, but honestly, it hasn't effected me too much. I love Knock Off. It screws up so much stuff. --- Obligatory Scizor (actually, this picture is pretty good) gold (Scizor) (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Technician EVs: 252 HP/184 Atk/72 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Brick Break - Bullet Punch - Swords Dance - Substitute With the added speed, Scizor is basically my check on status that isn't early game Spore. I sub up, SD, and see what happens. I can at least weaken a Lucario/Heatran switch in before being forced to switch out. But i've often been lucky enough to get +4 to +6. The only thing is Gyarados rips this d00d apart, so I have to play this for the later part of the game, or at least make sure Rotom is still healthy.
  8. Well.. Really its an update of my old one but I didn't post it here. Any advice is appreciated Azelf @ Focus Sash Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Stealth Rock - Psychic - Explosion - Fire Blast --- Very common lead and for good reason. For the rest of the team I'll put a few comments about why/how I'm using it but its an azelf lead so... yeah... Gengar (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Shadow Ball - Thunderbolt - Focus Blast - Hidden Power [ice] --- Revenge killer that surprisingly enough turns into a pretty good late game sweeper. HP ice instead of the more common fire is for mence and other dragons. I've considered trick but I don't want to lose a move for it and gengar is a bit too frail to pull it off. Salamence (M) @ Lum Berry Ability: Intimidate EVs: 252 HP/180 Def/76 SDef Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Outrage - Earthquake - Roost --- Not the most common mence set but certainly effective. I've always been a fan of bulky DDers and the lum berry is useful both for absorbing status and getting a free DD and for curing confusion after an outrage. I've had people ragequit after they get mence down to low health only to have him roost Heatran (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Fire Blast - Earth Power - Explosion - Toxic --- Really easy to switch in thanks to its resistances and great at forcing switches. If I predict a switch from the opponent upon seeing heatran I normally use toxic. This gives me a good chance to status a common counter to heatran (scouting in the process) and then lets me choose a move (or escape) depending on what they bring in. Toxic was chosen over WOW because of the ability to do damage over time and because I simply can't stand the accuracy of WOW Jolteon (M) @ Choice Specs Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power [Grass] - Shadow Ball - Baton Pass --- Not much to say about this, standard jolteon, tbolt breaks things, faster than a ninja, can scout early game. I chose HP grass so I'm not completely walled by pert Machamp (M) @ Choice Band Ability: Guts EVs: 128 HP/252 Atk/128 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Close Combat - Payback - Ice Punch - Thunderpunch --- The new addition to the team. This used to be a subpunch breloom which I'm considering going back to but the huge physical power of this set really compliments jolteon's massive special power. It normally only stays in for a couple of turns because the (s)/def drops from CC really start to hurt it. I'm considering switching the ability to noguard and the stab move to dynamic punch but this would come at a loss of power and make it hurt a lot more by status so I'm still undecided. Type chart No huge type weaknesses and 8 immunities including 3 to ground.

  10. Hi! I never thought about making a team... I want a Meganium, Lucario, Empoleon, and Tangrowth in my team... I can take care of the IVs but can you teach me how I should get the EVs. and can you tell me a helpful nature for each of them. I will give you a shiny Zapdos or shiny Articuno or shiny Mespirit.(Real!!!) or other legendary or shiny wild or starter pokemon. ---------- Post added at 03:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:01 PM ---------- I thought about tangrowth's moves. How about sleep powder, sunny day, solar beam, and leech seed?? Item: heat rocki, ability chlorophyll
  11. Just putting it out there, I like using teams that are different. I'm also wondering who, if I should, to give Stealth Rock to. Weavile-Focus Sash Hasty&Pressure EVs: 4HP/252Atk/252Spe -Fake Out -Taunt -Counter -Ice Punch Your basic anti-lead, especially for suicide leads. Fake Out nulls enemie's Focus Sashes, Taunt prevents Stealth Rock/Toxic/that bad stuff, and Ice punch is for Aerodactyl/dragons and counter is mostly for late game/Blissey Scizor-Life Orb Adamant&Technician EVs: 176HP/100Atk/56Spe/176SpDef -U-Turn -Roost -Quick Attack -Pursuit Another basic build. Quick attack makes up for Scizor's bad speed, Roost is there because it's good, and Pursuit is another attack, but also works with U-Turn for anticipating an attack. Swampert-Leftovers Careful&Torrent EVs: 226HP/61Atk/223Def -Earthquaker -Curse -Waterfall -Avalanche I'm probably most proud of this guy, mostly because he's unusual and can take a hit. Screw special attacks, Curse+Avalanche works for me and Equake and Waterfall help. Gallade-Expert Belt Jolly&Steadfast EVs: 56HP/252Atk/200Spe -Shadow Sneak -Bulk Up -Brick Break -Psycho Cut Since apparently a faster enemy can trash a Gallade, I put some speed into his build and gave him two STAB moves, Bulk Up (duh), and a surprise ghost attack. Venusaur-Leftovers Sassy&Overgrow EVs: 252HP/252Def/6SDef -Sludge Bomb -Leech Seed -Sleep Powder -Razor Leaf Meant to take hits and be annoying, Leech Seed is annoying as well as Sleep Powder. Sludge Bomb isn't the best, but I don't want two grass STAB attacks Arcanine-Leftovers Adamant&Intimidate EVs: 8HP/250Atk/252Spe -Hidden Power (Ground) -Overheat -Extremespeed -Howl I could've had an Energy Ball Ninetales, but I like Arcanine's better stats more. It's a fairly basic Arcanine build. Any help to get me out of my nubiness is appreciated.
  12. Alakazam @ Life Orb Trait: Synchronize Nature: Timid EVs: 252 SpA/ 6 SpD/ 252 Spe - Psychic - Focus Blast - Signal Beam - Calm Mind Personally, I know for a fact that if my Alakazam manages to use at least one Calm Mind, and isn't under a status condition, Psychic or Focus Blast can at least take out one or two Pokemon. The only move that gives me trouble here is Focus Blast, due to 80% accuracy, sometimes it's hard to rely on it. Weavile @ Choice Band Trait: Pressure Nature: Jolly EVs: 42 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 216 Spe - Night Slash - Pursuit - Ice Punch - Brick Break I modified this revenge Killer Weavile and replaced Ice Shard with Ice Punch because I personally like Punch more, and included Brick Break in case I ever run into a Rock type or a Steel Type. Infernape @ Life Orb Trait: Blaze Nature: Naive EVs: 194 Spe/ 64 Atk/ 252 SpA - Flamethrower - Grass Knot - Close Combat - Hidden Power (Ice) This is one of my favorites, since it's good move set along with it's nature and EV's help me handle a diverse amount of Pokemon types. I prefer Flamethrower over Fire Blast any day, more accuracy helps and the 40 damage less won't mind thanks to his SpA Ev's. Gliscor @ Life Orb Trait: Sand Veil Nature: Jolly EVs 252 Hp/ 42 Def/ 216 Spe - Earthquake - U-Turn - Taunt - Roost My stallbreaker and second favorite, the Earthquake/Taunt/Roost combo is great if played correctly, and I also like to Taunt and then use U-Turn for a decent effect, depending on the enemy Pokemon. Tentacruel @ Leftovers Trait: Liquid Ooze Nature: Calm EVs: 252 Hp/ 122 Def/ 136 SpD - Surf - Ice Beam/Sludge Bomb - Toxic Spikes - Rapid Spin Tentacruel is my support, sometimes I switch to him so I can blow away Spikes/Stealth rock with Rapid Spin and then attack or switch and use Toxic Spikes and then attack, it depends on what I'm facing, really. Jolteon @ Choice Specs Trait: Volt Absorb Nature: Timid EVs: Def 6/ 252 Spe/ 252 Spa - Thunderbolt - Shadow Ball - Hidden Power (Ice) - Baton Pass This girl is a freaking murder machine. I've seen her take out a decent amount of Pokemon thanks to Thunderbolt or Hidden Power (Ice) with insane speed EV's. The only drawback is that sometimes people switch out to a Pokemon type that is resistant to Thunderbolt, which is the attack I use the most, forcing me to switch from time to time and costing me damage on my next Pokemon. Overall, the big flaw this team has is that a good Ground type could take out Tentacruel, Infernape and Jolteon, but I usually switch to Gliscor. The only other threat is a Water type, a good one like Gyarados or Starmie, could OHKO or 2HkO either Infernape or Gliscor if I don't switch to someone like Tentacruel.
  13. I want to start my game again and i'm planning my team. Empoleon Togekiss Arcanine Breloom Fortress (Insert HM Slave/Mismagius) Need help with the last pokemon. A good HM slave and another pokemon to use for battles.
  14. (For platinum) Hi, I was wondering if someone could create a code for me for the following effects: Cyndaquil, level 100, max EV's and IV's Shiny, Wonderguard, bold nature, SID 1337 Kyogre, Level 100, Max EV and IV Shiny, wonderguard, cool nature,SID 1 Tyranitar (Same as above) (SID 100000, brash nature) Typhlosion (Same as above) (SID 42, calm nature) Charizard ^^^^^^^^ (SID 12345, cool nature) Lugia ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ (SID 8, brash nature) I would like all these pokemon to have whatever the creator of the code deems the best moveset for them. Pokesav does not work on my computer, so my options are limited on what i can do T_T.... If anyone is able to do this, many thanks in advance. IF any more information is needed, please shoot me a private message. Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15. nothing is necessary to explain this.... no commentary....no sprites.....nothing can NU-UU pwnage .... is all that it was
  16. I use this team mainly on PBR, where there are no tiers, and you can see the opponent's team before you select your Pokemon. Azelf @ Choice Scarf Jolly Levitate 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 6 HP U-Turn Explosion Stealth Rock Trick This thing has enabled me to take control of the field from the get-go, so I'm not changing it. :] I usually Explode if I smell a Rain Dance team coming on, or I just have issues with a lead Pokemon. Trick is for bulky leads such as Bronzong, or suicide leads that start with Stealth Rock. Azelf and Blaziken usually come out together so Azelf can bring it down to 1 HP, activating Salac and Blaze on the first turn. Blaziken @ Salac Berry Hasty Blaze 252 Spe / 194 Atk / 64 SpA Endure Overheat Blaze Kick/Fire Punch Reversal My awesome Reversaler. I don't care what people say, this thing usually is able to take out at least one Pokemon. (Barring Priority moves) Overheat is for things that think they can wall it on the Physical side, along with it able to OHKO (123%-145% by my calculations) Naive Salamance (With Blaze activated, of course), which thinks it can scare Blaziken out with Intimidate. (Get it?) It even outspeeds it with a Salac boost, as most Salamance on Wi-Fi don't have 31 Speed IVs, which my Blaziken has. Jumpluff @ Leftovers Timid Chlorophyll 252 Spe / 252 HP / 6 Def Sunny Day Sleep Powder Substitute Leech Seed What? NU tier? Are you serious, Smogon? This thing has stalled many Pokemon into submission, and protects Blaziken from Hail or Sandstorm. Sleep Powder can keep a Pokemon at bay while Blaziken deals with it's comrade. Salamance @ Life Orb Naive Intimidate 84 Atk / 216 SpA / 208 Spe Draco Meteor Fire Blast Crunch Brick Break This is usually used as a late-game sweep, when half of the opponent's team is killed off by Blaziken. It OHKOs Kingdras with Draco Meteor, and Blissey with Brick Break with ease. What it can't outpace is usually Paralyzed by... Cresselia @ Leftovers Bold Leftovers (Don't know the EVs; I got this on the GTS, and it had an Effort Ribbon at level 51, so I'm assuming that it's around 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA.) Calm Mind Thunder Wave Moonlight Ice Beam Cresselia. She walls as if made of brick. The only thing I don't like about her is that Moonlight has only 8 PP. I'm surprised it's not in more OU teams. With Jumpluff's great Sunny Day support, Moonlight restores 50% or 66% rather than a meager 25%. Lucario @ Choice Band Adamant Inner Focus 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP ExtremeSpeed Close Combat Blaze Kick Stone Edge As much as I like Lucario, I'm thinking about replacing it. ExtremeSpeed kills off Focus Sashers or weakened Pokemon, Stone Edge is for Gyarados, and Blaze Kick is for abuse if Sunny day is in play. (That Rhymes! :bidoof:) Overview It may have Sunny Day, but this is NOT a full-fledged Sunny Day team! Sunny Day is mainly used for getting Sandstorm off the field, and powering up Overheat, so it can get vital OHKOs. This team has problems with Bullet Punch Scizor, but what team doesn't? Regardless, I'm still looking for a good counter for it that's name isn't Rotom-H. I might put Fake Out Ambipom in Lucario's place. So yeah, RMT.
  17. My previous thread was closed because I was "not taking advice" when I was taking all advice except the Zapdos addition. I appreciated all advice honestly. Suggestions Given Porygon-Z-Thunderbolt /Done Kingdra-Life Orb /Done Remove Probopass /Done Remove Shuckle as starter /Done still going to use but not as starter Add Gengar /Going to do in place of Probopass Remove Metagross /Thinking of what to replace With Add Zapdos / I have no clue what else to add to complete my team so I would like the help of the more experienced battlers here.
  18. 19. As the title implies, I have an idea for an interesting team that I want to implement in my area during local tournaments (unofficial). I want to make an HP Sap team. Basically, I'm going to spam obnoxious amounts of sleeping agents and life leechers. Put my opponent's team to sleep, leech seed them, and continue to sap their HP while maintaining their sleep status. Obviously I need to watch out for Ice and Fire. Please don't post telling me that, it's kinda obvious. With that aside, I AM looking for a way to keep those things away, so suggestions for moves will be greatly appreciated. Also, this team is meant for Doubles only, which increases the challenge. So far I have two Pokemon in mind - Breloom and Tangrowth. *King* Breloom @ Toxic Orb Poison Heal - Spore - Leech Seed - Mach Punch - Thunderpunch *Bojanbo* Tangrowth @ i have no idea, probably leftovers Chlorophyll - Sleep Powder (Can I egg move Spore? It's in the same group as Shroomish/Breloom) - Leech Seed - Knock Off - Seed Bomb All advice is appreciated. Still need 4 Pokemon (IF these don't get replaced). Any Pokemon selection advice, move advice, and item advice is welcomed. On an ending note, not only is this team for doubles, but the particular group of whiners I'm trying to stomp with this obnoxious team has a "No Same Item" rule, meaning my Pokemon must all have different items. Their policy is "if it beats you, ban it", I swear. :grog: EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention, no idea where the EVs should go either. If this team wins, it'll be up on fliers all over my city as "Team ProjectPokemon". Put your heart into it! EDIT2: Maybe that sounds cheesy but I really don't care. If I actually get any help with this I'm not taking all the credit, that's not cool. Also, I was thinking about a Gengar, abusing Hypnosis or something like that. I dunno.
  20. I want to request for a pokemon team. All the IVs are maxed. If you can help please PM me so I can give you my email so we can see whether both of us are online at the same time or not through msn. (: Many thanks
  21. Dancing in the rain! I've been testing my rain team in the TeamUber shoddy server lately under the name of squowse so if you do see that name its me, and I've been having lots of success till I fought a stalling team but even that was a close match. Due to the fact that I lost one of the logs (the one where I battled wraith89 and lost horribly) that will not be included in this collection. Enjoy and comment. Also I will be editing this post to add more battles as I go. Lanturn, the monster of the deep! 22. This team is designed for OU competative play and is focused on luring out apozing steels and threats to my dragons so that I may kill them and then allow my dragons to continue to sweep on. Here is the line up in a glance: First up Salimance (Draco) @ Life Orb Nature: Mild (+SpAtk / -Def) Ability: Intimidate EVs: Atk 72, Spe 220, SpAtk 216 Role: Crushing Lead Draco Meteor Outrage Hidden Power (Ice) Earthquake Draco has three simple jobs. To crush the oposing lead, have the opponent show their dragon counter, and optionaly to return later as a wall breaker. I know i will get a fit over not having a SR lead but the point of this is to throw off my opponent. This Dragon also handels the two most common leads easily. Taunt leads are normaly frail and suicidal already and if they expect to stop a DD Mance they are sadly mistaken. If it is a trick lead I will benefit all three ways! I get a scarfed Mance, Band Mance, or a Specs Mance! Now were is the problem with that? Hidden Power Ice is effective against more Leads than Fire Blast (Aerodactyl, Togekiss, Glyscore to name a few) and the EVs were only moved slightly to Beat out all base 95 pokemon who chose a speed positive nature and max out the speed stat. (Like glyscore leads) Next is Metagross (Meta) @ Expert Belt Nature: Naughty (+Atk / -SpDef) Ability: Clear Body EVs: Atk 252, Spe 134, SpAtk 124 Role: The Trick Meteor Mash Thunder Punch Hidden Power (Fire) Grass Knot Metagross is so common that many teams carry a counter. This counter would normaly be a bulky water and is used to counter all steels and some dragons. Metagross is setup bait to some of those with the wrong set. Meta has a set designed to counter these counters though and clear the way. and he can use HP Fire to dent any steel dumb enough to come in as well. This opens the way for Scizor, Kingdra, and also scouts the team to a good level that i should know at least one or two partners to the bulky water or the lead that has not come out yet. My only question is should i add earthquake over meteor mash to counter absolutly everything that may come in? (heatran and magnezone come to mind) Now the fun parts (and yes we are still in Hoenn) Latias (Purity) @ Choice Scarf Nature: Timid (+Speed / -Atk) Ability: Levitate EVs: Hp 80, SpAtk 252, Spe 176 Role: Dragon / Gyara Counter Draco Meteor Surf Thunderbolt Trick This Latias is now changed to handel DD Mance and DD Gyara as well as some other common threats to the over all line up. (Thanks Dimi) The Alternate Scizor (Big Red) @ Choice Band Nature: Adamant (+Atk / -SpAtk) Ability: Technician EVs: Hp 248, Atk 252, Spe 8 Role: Latias Partner / Mid game Sweeper / Scout / Revenge Killer (A lot I know lol) Bullet Punch Pusuit U-Turn Superpower As I said in the previous paragraph Big Red's main job is to counter latias's counters. He also scouts for me with U-Turn. Revenge kills alot with Bullet Punch + STAB + CB + Technician. Destroys with pursuit. And finaly sweeps later game with moreBullet Punch + STAB + CB + Technician. The last Dragon of Johto Kingdra (Drache) @ Leftovers Nature: Naughty (+Atk / -SpDef) Ability: Sniper / Swift Swim EVs: 252 Atk, 232 Spe, 24 SpAtk Role: Mid Game Sweeper Dragon Dance Outrage Waterfall Hydropump Drache is dragon in German if the name confused you. Drache is only resisted by empoleon and shedinja so late game should have no problems with only dragons as his weakness. If an opening comes up early I take it though. The Speed EVs are just enough after one DD to out speed base 130s. Sniper is nice with a Critical hit but Swift Swim will let me abuse Rain Dance teams... Advice? The only Native to the Region Heatran (Hot Head) @ Choice Scarf Nature: Naive (+Spe / -SpDef) Ability: Flash Fire EVs: Hp 6, Spe 252, SpAtk 252 Role: Fire Counter / Steel Counter / Revenge killer Fire Blast Earth Power Hidden Power (Grass) Explosion Hot Heat gets out early in the game but I just like to keep things organized. He generaly comes in on the steels that came on one of my dragons or he took the heat from a fire type that came out on my Metagross or Scizor and got Flash Fired. He helps round off the team and keeps things flowing. I would like to thank you now for taking the time to comment on and rate my team. All advice is greatly apreciated.
  23. i am gonna give u the stats and pokemons and moves what i want so i need u make the team for me ok and i want them to meet me at gts so put id not same as mine ok and i will provide the nick names that i want u to put it ok and it will tell u what forgien language to use ok and also i dont put the pp for the moves i prefer them to be legit ok thanks when u finish make the code email me at vszero@aol.com non shiny and i want all to be infected with pokerus thanks

  25. This is pretty much my first competitive Pokemon team so don't yell at me if I have some really obvious mistakes. This team is focused around Guts Activation Swellow. Please help me improve it. The team consists of three UU and three OU Pokemon. The Team Spiritomb Anti-lead/Rapid Spin Blocker @ Leftovers Pressure Careful 252 HP / 140 Atk / 116 SpD - Taunt - Pursuit - Pain Split - Will-O-Wisp Spiritomb's job is to mainly shut down some common leads such as Azelf and Gengar who pose a threat to the team. It also helps block Rapid Spin if it survives for whatever reason. Rhyperior Tank @ Leftovers Solid Rock Impish 244 HP / 184 Def / 80 SpD - Avalanche - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Stealth Rock Stealth Rock is a key move on Rhyperior in order to support Swellow's Facade and that small amount of damage from Stealth Rock may help to ensure the kill. Swellow Physical Sweeper @ Toxic Orb Guts Jolly 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe - U-turn - Facade - Protect - Brave Bird Swellow is my main sweeper. If it's in trouble against a Pokemon that threatens it with a high Attack stat, I can use U-turn to switch to Gyarados or Hitmontop depending on the type. Hitmontop Spinner @ Leftovers Intimidate Impish 252 HP / 72 Def / 184 Spe - Toxic - Rapid Spin - Stone Edge - Close Combat Hitmontop helps counter Steel and Rock types. It's also a Rapid Spinner which helps Swellow out the next time it switches in. Stone Edge is there to counter the common Rotom who try to block Rapid Spin. Gyarados Physical Sweeper @ Leftovers Intimidate Adamant 156 HP / 108 Atk / 100 Def / 144 Spe - Taunt - Waterfall - Stone Edge - Dragon Dance Gyarados works similarly to Hitmontop. It weakens Physical threats with Intimidate and is good for type coverage. Common counters to Swellow are Rock and Steel and Gyarados can handle the former. Rotom Rapid Spin Blocker @ Leftovers Levitate Bold 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spe - Thunderbolt - Shadow Ball - Will-O-Wisp - Overheat Rotom helps block Rapid Spinners and is a great counter to Scizor and Metagross. Rotom is also an essential Pokemon on the team because of the Nintendo Connection Tour. They are giving out the Secret Key there and I'd like to suit the theme. Personal Opinion I probably don't have enough special defence and I may need to replace a Pokemon with a something more special based. Metagross seems to completely obliterate my team because of Clear Body which makes Hitmontop and Gyarados less effective. >.< Heatran ruins Rotom-H when it tries to counter the said Steel types so I need something to solve that problem.
