To get straight to the point, the form selection for creating a Deoxys using Pokesav is incorrect. Take this Deoxys for example. It is Level 1 and of a bashful nature meaning there are no changes in its stats. It has absolutely no EVs nor IVs, either. Now here are the results I get from maxing out the stats in the "Stats Edit" for each Deoxys form. Keep in mind that this Pokemon is completely fresh without any stat enhancements whatsoever other than the different (incorrect) form bonuses. I would like you to notice that every single form yields the same stats. All the stats are the equivilant of what the "normal form" should yield. For instance, the "defense form" *should* yield stats with both defense and special defense of 8 or more at level one as opposed to its attack and special attack being around 6. I would like to know if there may be a value I am entering incorrectly or forgetting to add. Either that or I would like to know how to have this problem fixed if it is in fact a program error. I'm going for a defensive Deoxys, so I do not accept these "normal form" stats. EDIT: It may be important for me to mention that I am using the Pokemon Platinum Pokesav.

Hey, i looked on the first page on the site and found the file for the pokesav, but my comp cant use winzip, are there any other types of files available for the pokesav?

How come when I use the PCD option for the Pokesav (Platinum) it doesn't work properly for me. If I use the PGT mystery gift file, I get the pokemon from the delivery man in the Pokemart. But if I use the PCD wonder card file, It ends up that after I press L+R on my Action Replay, I do get the Wonder Card but it says that you have already received this gift! How do I fix this problem? So is it that the PCD Wonder Card Files only create the Wonder Card but not the pokemon?

K, so I make the poke, legalize it, trashbytes, the whole thing. When I try to put the code on the the ARDS Manager, it says there is something wrong with the code. Apparently it needs to be put in neat lines, so I opened it with Microsoft Word, Notepad, all the recommended things, but it still comes up as a mess of codes. Is the a program for it to be in even lines? -
hey im new here and idk if its okay if i post this here if not let me, but i was gonna asked if u make a pokemon shiny on pokesav and thats all u do and u run it through the legality checker and it comes out as hacked will u still be able to battle with it?

I wasn't sure what section to make this thread in, so if it's in the wrong one, sorry about that. I've noticed that occasionally when I use Pokesav, it reduces/increases the original level that I give a Pokemon. Example: I recently made a Gliscor at Lv. 80. So, after inputting the level, I fixed everything else on it and checked over it to make sure everything looked right. Apparently the level of Gliscor had increased to 86. That has happened with multiple other Pokemon, like an Aggron I made before (Lv. 100 at first, decreased to 99 at the end.) I have some Pokemon templates, too, and the template was originally made at Lv. 5. Whenever I load it into Pokesav, the level varies from Lv. 3-6. It's not too much of a problem, but it's somewhat annoying... Anyone know why it does that? :confused:

I go into pokesav, add the event pokemon .pkm file i downloaded into the first party bit, go into create output, tick 1st party, get code input it into my ARDS. I then go into my game, after ticking the cheat on my ARDS, and press L+R, but nothing happens, I have tried everything but it's just not working. regular codes work, like all tms and shiny encounters, just not the events. Any ideas? PS im using the UK version

I used pokesav to get a Kangaskhan and It doesn appear in my pokedex at all. Did I do something wrong?

I have both Pokemon Diamond and Platinum for EU countries. Diamond always worked for me when I edited it with pokesav but Platinum does not (I use the correct pokesav). I have an R4 Deluxe/SDHC and the main problem I have is that pokemon that I add to the box never show up after loading, and if I try to edit the party I corrupt the save file. So I was wondering, does pokesav platinum work for the EU version of Pokemon Pt. When I re-read the save with pokesav the pokemon is where it should be but the game never shows it. Also, sometimes other parts of the game a read wrong (such as the fact that it believes that I have around 252 repel steps left). I'm about to try running it in YSMenu but I don't think that's the problem. I'm also re-copying the rom onto the flashcard to see if that fixes it. (Which means back to the start once again!). I know that the P/D pokesav worked but does the Pt one work for PKMN Pt? I've found one reference to this before but it was about pearl which I have never tried (I used diamond and it worked). Please see if you can answer my question. Edit: I also re-downloaded Pokesav to make sure that wasn't the problem...it didn't help.

Hi, I was wondering if the sites going to make a Japanese/English Pokesav program for Heart Gold and Soul Silver like they did for Diamond/Pearl/Platinum? Plus also update the D/P/P pokesav's so they no longer say 'Johto [Gold], Johto [silver]' in the hometown sections.

Hi, I want to make a code so that I can get the event-only items, (Azure Flute, Oak's Letter, and Member's Card) and have them work. But in Platinum the "Enable Gift" box is missing. So is it even possible to get the items without that box?

Hi guys, im new to this forum, so i apologise if this is in the wrong place, as i couldnt find a suitable sub forum. Anyway... when you see stats on smogon, how do you mirror them into pokesav so that you can have exactly the same? Because when i go on smogon, they only have the numbers for the main stats that the pokemon are made for... im very new to this stuff, so please help me im terrible when it comes to iv's and ev's lol

:(Ok I need help i did every thing right saved in right format changed compressed to uncompressed and also converted file with No$gba to Vba my save file is 521 kb and all that stuff i open poke sav and..... my pokemon does not show up. my name and rivals name does and the money and when i make changes to it and save it nothing happend when i used the converted file whose name is pokemon platinum2 and pokemon platinum is the non converted name when i saved it on pokesav and deleted the non converted pokemon platinum and renamed pokemon platinum2 to pokemon platinum no changes

Hey all, I've been looking for a good website to get involved with Pokemon since I've been playing forever and this seemed to be it. Recently some people on another board I visit, /v/, mentioned Pokesav. I've downloaded it, and seen the youtube video. However I don't have the physical equipment needed to use it. So before I make a request for a team, I have a question: 1. Me and my friend used to use action replay way back when. It was great to manipulate the game, but it messed up the saving of the game. Does using pokesav mess up the save file (or anything else)? 2. I've been told using Pokesav makes people be able to notice if you've used it, so they wont battle with you or trade with you. I doubt this is true, but is it? 3. If someone uses Pokesav to make a team of pokemon, then are they able to use the Wi-Fi system and trade? Because I would be happy if I supplied the info for a team I want and then someone loads it up then trades with me. However I dunno if this is possible. Thanks for input, and sorry in advance if these are stupid questions. -
Hi, I'm trying to use pokesav with pokemon platinum english rom with NO$GBA 2.6a. According to the instructions from the Youtube video, I needed to convert my save file in Battery to VBA first using the NO$GBA to VBA converter. But there are two problems following that. First, when I open the converted file with pokesav it displays some Chinese characters in place of my party, I've disabled Chinese on my PC and it still does that. And when I try to play w/ the converted file the game starts from the beginning. Second, I don't think it's anything to do with the language or even pokesav. Because if I rename the converted file to the original name (Pokemon Platinum (E)) and try to play it w/o changing anything with pokesav, the game will still start from the beginning and all progress is lost. Yet when I open the backup save file everything works fine (I still have my progress). Does anyone know what's going on over here? I'm sure my software are all up to date (visual basic, no$gba, gba to vba converter, pokesav platinum version..). Any help will be appreciated!

i used pokesav to add a pokemon to bebe's pc, but it doesn't show up on my pokedex as own, all though i can own the next evolution chain on the pokedex as it evolve. what can i do to get that first stage pokemon into my pokedex?

I noticed that the "Pal Park" option in Platinum Pokesav is "disabled". How can I "migrate" some pokemon that are not obtainable in Platinum by using Pokesav? Moreover, how can I transfer a pokemon into my Platinum that will make it look like it was traded? Thanks a lot in advance

This may sound noob-ish, but I was wondering if anyone could explain what "Type 1, Type 2, etc." mean when using the built-in PID generator. I know they have something to do with what type the PID is (Normal NDS or GBA, Very Rare GBA, Common GBA Event (Unrestricted), etc.), but I was hoping to find out which number type corresponded to what. I've been searching around for a day or so looking for the information, but I can't seem to find it.

How to a I make a legal pokemon from scratch using pokesav? Seems like there should be a guild for such a thing here stickied. I'm trying to make a Tropius as I've had no luck with the Safari (I hate the safari!).

When I try to make an AR code for wonder cards and stuff, I put it into the Code Manager and onto the AR, but then there is NO code for the game. What am I doing wrong??? Plz help!
