Hi. Im new for using Pokesav. I already know how to get pkm via mystery gift. I trying to make a mewtwo. but I cant change the OT. I tried to change it many time, but after I click on the OK button. The text field is always empty. When I exported the code to my AR. I get a mewtwo with OT' name like : ?????? Can some one tell me how to Edit to OT from a pkm please? I attached some images to get more informations.

Hi, I just started using Pokesav, and something is really wrong. I am using the AR Pokesav Code Generator, but when I export it to the Code Manager, it's name is "okemon Diamond" and the game id is wrong. When I change everything right, the code won't work. What am I doing wrong?? Is there a glitch in the software? :( :(

reading the pokemon editing FAQ on the site it says "Hidden Value: The only thing to worry about here is the box next to 85h. Set this byte according to how the Pokemon was obtained" but when I look at what people are doing on the forums they are also changing a few other values, what should be done here for legality? I am exporting all my codes to AR, and so far its worked out okay, but I haven't been able to check legality just yet (I have a mac and an old windows XP that I am currently updating to support legality check) I was just curious about the hidden values

Hey, alright so for platinum i check the national dex box (the one that isnt grayed out) save it and rerun the game but i dont have the national dex how do i get it?

So, when I hit the button to enter the OT while making a poke on Pokesav, I enter my name, hit OK, then it goes back to blank I am using Pokesav plat/ anyone know whats up with this?

Sorry if this has been asked already, I couldnt find it so I'm asking it :confused: Is there any working Pokesav for gba saves? I like to go to Hoenn / Kanto now and then and I would like to make real cool pkmn for those games All I want is valid PID generator but its not posible with any editor,mod,french pokesav for RSE I know. I hope theres one D:

I used the tweak glitch. I always have been careful: I were reading web pages and watching a lot of videos vefore doing anything. However, it wasn't enough and I screwed my save. My question: Can I use Pokésav and an Action Replay to change the location where I am while or before it loads the game save? I don't want to start again yet, not before having tried everything I can do. -
I've heard a lot of people complaining about the ARDS portion of pokesav isn't working.. well, here's some explanations, of why they aren't working as well as they should, and what solutions you can take, to make the AR codes working to your advantage. pokesav, proper lists version this version clearly doesn't like to support ARDS function, because of the spacing bug. why this happens? it could be that it's tied to the full names of the pokemon and items that are listed properly. there are two ways to fix the spacing issue. one way, is the old-fashioned, time-consuming way, of doing it yourself. it's not recommended, unless you have a crapload of time on your hands. there's also another way, with a web page, that does the spacing for you, which is here(thanks to Jason). also, if you want to fix the problem offline, there's also this program to download(thanks to Biohazard), if you like. I would recommend the web page more though, because that also supports .txt format files as well, unless someone proves otherwise that the program also supports .txt format files. pokesav, ARDS Code Output version this one is most reliable for people who has ARDS, but the names of the pokemon and the items aren't consistent with the game, so you would have-to add the full name manually, which can also be a little time-consuming, if you want your pokemon to be completely legal and "look legit". there's also a bug in the ARDS portion of this version, which I thought was fixed completely, but I guess I was wrong, since I've noticed a couple of posts that the game ID isn't complete, and is missing a letter. there's two ways to fix this as well. one way, is to fix it by opening up in notepad and putting that letter that is missing in the game ID. another way, is to just save it as .txt format, so you don't have-to deal with the game ID bullshit; since because .txt format only saves the code itself and maybe the name of the code, not the game ID and extra HTML junk that comes with .xml formats. but doing it this way, would have-to make you put the codes in the old-fasioned way, by copying and pasting the codes into your ARDS Code Manager(tutorial of that is here), which could take a longer time to put your codes in your ARDS cart. so, there you go. ways to fix your AR codes! have fun hacking! - Soldjermon

Ok... It's now got to the point where i'm soooo stressed with my AR that i've been told to try using Pokesav. I have several questions for that. 1) Is there a way to get it without needing Winzip? 2) If so, where can i get it? 3) If not, where can i get a free winzip, that isn't a trial. 4) where would be the best place to get pokesav?

I have some question: Why in the pokesav the pokedex option "complete" is not available? Why the option event flag is not available? Why when i create a pokemon, it's not registred in the dex? (sorry for my bad english)

Okay, so here is the deal. I play Pokemon Platinum on my Macbook using Crossover and No$GBA. I am having trouble using PokeSav on my Macbook and cannot figure out how to do this. I found this video on YouTube that is absolutely horrible because I get lost half-way through and cannot figure out what I am supposed to do ( ). I try hitting "open" to open my .sav file but it keeps telling me that it's the wrong file type. This is my first time with PokeSav so I could be doing something completely wrong. Could someone please give me written instructions on how to use PokeSav with a Macbook please? Because this is really confusing me. Thanks in advance.

Hey, everybody, I have a question about IDs on Pokesav. (If this is in the wrong section, please move it to the right one.) I recently made a Pikachu with the following ID: 66714. Every time I clicked on Stats Edit, however, the ID would change to: 65535. If I change the ID to something else, sometimes it doesn't change when I click Stats Edit again, but most of the time it reverts to 65535 again. Is there any reason why it does that?

Hey guys I have pokesav for Platinum and I know that the 46h and 47h as well as the 44h and 45h hexes are important I've just been having problems figuring out what to put in those boxes because I've been trying to create certain pokemon and the codes that I have created sometimes have not worked and I think it's because I'm not filling that out correctly any help would be appreciated

Alright, pokesav for platnium hasnt really been working for me. I only really used it twice, once for an item:didnt work, and second time for mystery gift, manaphy:didnt work. I'm pretty sure im putting everything correctly, since i've been using pokesav diamond for quite a while. Now, is their some type of difference between diamond pokesav and platnium pokesav? Like something that is different, that i must change? More specifically Mystery gift. Thanks.

Sorry in advance if this has been posted somewhere, I'm new here. Ok, I made a perfect copy of the pokemon I wanted, stats, move, IV, etc.... but the one thing I can't figure out is how do you change the met location, so that on the pokemon summary it will say "Arrived at" instead of "Apparently met at"; I have my secret ID on it too. This is in pokeSav for platinum btw and yes I did the hex numbers, whatever the Hoenn hex# under 46h and 47h. The Pokemon is Latios btw.

Normally, I'd be using Pokesav on my laptop which has Vista and everything looks as it should. A few days ago, I owned my laptop by spilling tea over it, so I have to use this desktop which has XP. When I run Pokesav on this however, it's huge. Here are some pics: http://psycho_k.webs.com/temporary/pokesav.png http://psycho_k.webs.com/temporary/pokesav_2.png Now, I have used this same version of Pokesav on another desktop with XP at a friend's house and it was normally sized. Is there some particular setting I have set that is causing it to be so huge and weird looking? The font being large and bold seems to be the main issue here, but I do not know how one would adjust that. Any help would be appreciated.
