  4. another system that got left off Sega Saturn, if you had a setup to play imports, you had some of the best games out hands down, if you liked capcom fighters that is. tsk tsk. someone didnt really think about all the great systems. i think this poll needs to be remade with these great systems in it. oh yeah, turbographix 16. that was a pretty good system to, maybe not the best but it was fun. another forgotten relic of days past : 3DO.

  7. You're the first person to have mentioned this one... The wild list says Tyrogue is there o-o; It's a PDF, so a text editor is the wrong program! You need Adobe Reader. That was an accident, but it's been reported already. Emboar I'm still indecisive on tbh. Staraptor I'd rather not change, I feel Normal fits it just fine anyway. Oh, thanks, RGF! I'll use that for the next update, definitely. Err, you could do with some paragraphing... anyway, Hydro Pump is possible, I guess. I removed the Dark-type from Luxray because it's not really based around being Dark anyway, and it just gives it more weaknesses. Alder was put deliberately lower since you need to beat him to get access to the Black Tower/White Treehollow, plus I was following the game's initial logic there in that you should be able to fight him after Iris. There's nothing Normal about Typhlosion or Psychic about Dusknoir. Yanmega is a toughie. Just quoting this for other people as I don't have a damn clue how to work an SDHC. It means the Pokémon is guaranteed to come equipped with that berry. Yeah, that was a slip-up. It'll be corrected.
  8. It seems that not all of the legendary flags are messed up. I've been keeping track of which ones I've been seeing and which ones haven't shown up too early. So far I have this (just after the 5th badge): Keldeo is in Pledge Grove Meloetta is in the Music Hall Zapdos is outside Chargestone Tornadus is NOT outside Mistralton Cave Raikou is NOT on Route 16 Entein is NOT in the Desert Resort Mew I am unsure of, as I can't even see the spot he's supposed to be on without Waterfall I figured I'd mention this seeing as it means that whatever coding controls Tornadus, Raikou, and Entei works, while some others are flawed. EDIT: After getting further, Ho-oh and Articuno also do NOT appear early.

At any rate, the habitat list doesn't automatically change so it's kind of useless in its current state anyway. The habitat list data is apparently in a very weird format. What happens when you try? Iceypunchy - There's one somewhere... it was mentioned a couple pages back. nicoelson - Well, the breeders will actually have different Pokémon next time anyway, but otherwise I would just say deal with it! alan_gp - See above for your first question. Yes, challenge mode is also changed (although I only actually had to change Gym Leaders/E4, most of it is just a level boost.) kampai12 - Dang DMCA. MaestroOD - Thanks for the mirror. MaxiLuca96 - A lot of hex editing. The actual sprites were already present, however.
  10. I'd like to thank you for such hard work. I just recently beat Black 2 and was so very glad to find Blaze Black also had a 2. I'm still reading the documentation, but so far the changes seem better then the first BB/VW. I do miss Flygon's high base special attack, though. I thought you'd give it 100 base satk. I really liked what you did with Farfetch'd this time, even though I don't use it. The changes in general seem more moderate, with more of a "professional" air around them. I would like to make some suggestions, if you don't mind, though. Just something I changed myself back in blaze black when I played it. Adding Sacred Sword to Absol, since he actually has a horn and uses it as a sword. Making Seviper Poison/Dragon. I also enabled it to learn Surf and boosted a bit its stats and Zangoose's, mainly their speed. Also, i think I gave the snake dragon dance and something to Zangoose to compensate, can't really recall. Think I changed his ability to Poison Heal... Yeah, that was it. Changing Cute Charm for Huge Power in Lopunny. Oh, that was a killing machine. Also I really think it fits. Making Charizard Fire/Dragon with Blaze/Levitate. I kinda love this typing and also dislike using Legends, so this is the closest to a Reshiram I could get. Las thing I remember is something I didn't change, but thought about changing quite a few times: Making Porygon-Z a Normal/Ghost poké. It seems to fit him so well... Guess these are all changes I made worth mentioning. There were others, such as Aura Sphere Roserade, but this one has no actual sense, the idea was just to make my favorite pokémon better.

  12. Oh, right. You can find the Unova starters in the Nature Preserve. I can't say it's a problem I've heard of before... if it happened with the original B2W2 too then I would suspect it's an issue on your end. Yeah, I inserted the wrong level-up narc x.x I think I forgot to insert the trade narc for that particular version Yeah, I'd expect it'll take a while to get everything done if you're looking to get it really feature packed. I started the overworlds in September I think, so I still had some time to do it (although it spilled into the start of my Uni term, it wasn't too busy). Should totally put 99 moves in a file and see what happens. /arbitrarynumber There is one season script! The Deerling gift you can get in Route 6. The script needs to state which form of Deerling you get, so there's an If statement for each season. What's the question ?_? If it's will the leaders be in the next version, I doubt it's likely.

  14. Oh, right, I thought you meant it was night all the time. I don't have a clue then, never seen that before. You might have to google it a bit... I dunno what you mean by inicials. Turn the double movement code off temporarily. It bugs out on those bits.
  15. For some reason tail whip RAISES the users defense instead of LOWERING it. However the move Leer works just fine. Does anyone else have this problem? I downloaded my version of Blaze Black 2 straight from the link on the creator's youtube video btw. Oh, and for some reason it's only during the first battle with your rival.
  16. Haven't tried this hack yet, but when looking at the documentation, you seemed pretty cosistent at neglecting the legends. I have some suggestions: -Please swap Articuno's special stats. It deserves to have a high Satk just like the rest of the trio (the special split in GS was a mistake and has been caried over to more than 10 games, which sucks). -The birds deserve Work Up. The non-legendary birds get it, so why not the legends? -You can enable the three special purification moves as lv1 moves on the trio, just like you did for the event moves on Entei/Raikou/Suicune. -Make Crunch available all legendary beasts. I suggest moving their Elemental Fangs to lv 1 (getting rid of Leer or Bite) and putting Crunch at lv 50. (Raikou can gain Electroball at lv 43, for instance) -You can also give them Moonlight at lv 78, as they are based of nocturnal animals. (Calm Mind is a TM anyways) -Superpower has been underdistributed among the legends. There is no way Palkia, Groudon, Entei and Ho-oh cannot learn this move. -The Regis have no secondary ability. I'd give them Analytic, as they really deserve it, more than Metagross (I'd rather give him Sheer Force). -Actually, having two abilities on a legendary is sort of a crime aestitically. Just leave them with the best one (they don't have to have Pressure, for instance). -I'd redo the level sheme of Dialga/Palkia/Giratina. Ending at level 50 is nothing for a legendary and it requires lots of moves to be learned by the move relearner (not sure what they were thinking in HG/SS...). -Palkia learns Aqua Tail twice. Fix that! I think he deserves Aqua Jet in his moveset. -Reshiram/Zekrom deserve Hammer Arm. They don't need Slash... Obviously, this is my opinion. Maybe I just should make a hack myself, although I have never done that. If these suggestions get rejected by other's comments, you'd better ignore them entirely...

  18. Hi, I know this might not exaaactly belong here. I am failing to get the Action Replay codes to work. (That is to say that I DID get the game to work a few times with ar codes but then encounter stuff like stuck on press start screen) Basically I just have no idea what to do with the game ID. (Do I have to put it somewhere??) Any help would be appreciated. OH. Yes. Also, Drayano I love you.

  20. Damn. Was about to make a new account and completely forgot about this one that was registered on the same email address since 2011. Bummer. >< Anyway, I like this patch a lot. Actually I downloaded a different rom than what was suggested in the documents and patches, and yet it worked. I have read Juniper's intro message, was seeing uncommon Pokemon in Unova, the Hoenn Gym Leaders (one of my favourite features), and the increased difficulty (hell, Burgh's Masquerain was the hardest one I've fought so far, simply because it used Double Team, until I restarted and had my Staravia learn Foresight). May I suggest that you should also make the Shinx family a Dark-type? They're easily able to learn Dark-type moves as they level up. Oh, I also noticed the unfairness on raising the Unova starter's final evolution's base stats. How about you also raise all the final evolution's base stats to an equal 535. In my opinion they're supposed to be equals, since they're all starters from different regions. It would be rightly justifiable. Anyhow, my special wish is to up Blaziken's Defence stat to 75, pretty please. :3 I think those are the only suggestions I can think of right now. Addition: To also balance the base stats of Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Zekrom and Reshiram to 680 as well? I hate how Game Freak underrates Gen 3 Pokemon and Gen 3 as a whole. Damn them.
  21. Hello ^,=,^ Just made this account to help out and say thank you to the author for making such simple yet elegant ROM hacks! First off I just wanna say that I got a nasty freezing problem with Blaze Black at the last battle with N. But it seems that most here are running this ROM fine with flash karts. I personally use Acekard2i and due to an MicroSD card adapter problem my whole flash kart lost all my saves and ROM's so all today Ive been re-downloading all my crap and happened to come across this! I didn't know you had a BB/VW2 project! Anyway I'm getting all my stuff together and I'm wondering when your next update will be out, that way i know if I should start playing through now or go ahead and wait. Either way its great to see this project and I'm excited to be able to provide feedback Thanks again Drayano!! EDIT: Oh hey guys I used the patcher but i get a non NDS file as an output. Is this the ROM? Or do i use the ROM itself? There is no explanation of that in xDeltas readme.
  22. Updated to v2.0, adding editing of held money and items in the Special Episode Here's the status of everything else: -Team Member 1 Name: Editable, in GUI. I'll do a little more research to be able to edit the Player Name and Partner Name soon. -Stored items: Made a function to get all the item ID's. Haven't plugged it into the GUI yet. I'll need more time to read item amounts. -Quicksave: There's 3 main sections of the save file. 1st two contain real data, the 3rd contains quicksave data. I noted the differences after resuming a quicksave, and these are it: 1EA28: 7: actual quicksave; 8: resumed quicksave 1EAF0 on: 0's for non-resumed quicksave It'd be nice for someone to observe if it's any different for anyone else. Note that my program does not fix the quicksave checksum yet. [Edit] Oh, I forgot to add the credits... I'll get that next release. At least it's on the front post.
