    I doubt the three birds will be in, now that they're in Platinum, unfortunately Gosh, that storyline is so random... Maybe they will add a smaller new region like Battle Frontier or something... hopefully. And I really want Mewtwo!

    More so, I want to know what happened to Mewtwo and the three legendary birds during this time. Yeah yeah, so they say the legendary birds left to Sinnoh in Platinum and all... but I don't like that story :-/

    Yeah, but I would think Giratina is the unique one and all... I don't think they need any origin forms though. I used to think they had a baby form or something, but that wouldn't really help :-/

    Why would we need a new form anyways? Suicune is already as good as he gets... his stat alignment couldn't have been any better

    Giratina does make a good sweeper in origin form while taking hits, but he's overshadowed by his two buddies Dialga and Palkia anyhow. Origin form is just for lore... not meant for competitive battles, I think. Giratina makes an amazing wall in Ubers, so I don't see the point in making him a sweeper (my platinum one is a sweeper though).

    I really wish that were the case... but I wonder if Berserk Gene is coming back... it appears that poor Mewtwo died or something because the cave went down from an avalanche or something (or it's the stupid game designers being lazy with GSC... I want an expansion!!) No way, Mewtwo's not dead... he's alive and well... that's right! He's invincible!

    Heh... this game was too easy. After Goldenrod was a trainer with a... *gasp* a level 2 Voltorb! The underleveled Pokemon was a serious issue for me... it's as if this game needed a harder difficulty like you said. I don't know... the easiness and the brevity of this game turned me off a bit. BUT... for some reason, GSC is my favorite series, I think. I don't know why... it is SO fun despite its shortcomings.

    Yeah, I only realized now that that whole comparison thing was about preferences, so it is subjective. So you think Chikorita can handle this game? I LOL at the fact trainers still use level 7-9 Pokemon even until the second gym Azalea town.

    It's not about preferences... it's about who's better competitively. I use Blastoise myself and he does well... but unfortunately Blastoise is outclassed by many other waters who does his job better... AND can double up as other roles...

    Erm, actually it goes like this. GRASS: Sceptile > Venusaur =? Torterra > Meganium FIRE: Infernape > Blaziken > Charizard > Typhlosion WATER: Swampert > Feraligatr > Empoleon =? Blastoise This is speaking competitive wise, but Grass starters were hard to rate... but Meganium is indeed the worst one unfortunately EDIT: Oh, it was about preferences? I can't judge you on that, that's all subjective!

I sign in as "droggiero" but sometimes you'll see a "wraith89"... just not as often. I developed a team for UnderXRay today... and he uses a good lead, special attacker, physical sweeper, wish supporter, physical/special wall, and rapid spinner. (I can't reveal his team to you though). So I'll help you out there, I guess... we do experimental battles for fun and whatnot.

    All right, first of all, do you like playing in the standard metagame or the underused metagame? You'll also have to do some research on what Pokemon are banned in certain tiers and whatnot. I'm assuming you play the standard metagame with the big boys like Salamence and Tyranitar. Secondly, you'll need to have a team of 6 Pokemon that can cover their weaknesses very well while being able to respond efficiently to enemy threats. List all the Pokemon you love and like to use and I think I'll be able to help you with that. You'll basically want a lead Pokemon, physical sweeper, special sweeper, physical wall, special wall, status platform, revenge killer, wish supporter, stealth rocker, rapid spinner, spin blocker, etc... As for me, my team relies on indirect damage and stalling to destroy its enemies (and this team hasn't failed yet), but I'm not playing with my OU team in a LONG time. If you want, we can practice in Shoddy and I can help you make a team there. I've helped two members Phreen and UnderXRay make their teams... so specify what you want

    Are you sure they had to be three different Pokemon? What if it were just Raikou, Entei and Suicune who died in the tower and were resurrected as themselves again?

    Sure thing. Try out Shoddy once in a while For now, I'm not allowing Milotic in my UU battles. As you can see, I put up a ridiculous ban list above and people are all complaining about that when it's not really going to be permanent and I only want to test things out mostly (but Milotic and Spiritomb are DEFINITELY staying banned). I think I'm scared of Altaria or something for now... because I don't really have any Ice attacks to scare her away or anything... and Natural Cure gets rid of status after switching @_@

    So who's this Seth guy? And yeah, charge input characters are so hard to play with... I'll just stick with Ryu and Ken Has anyone mastered Ryu or Akuma and know how to play them properly? I'm still not too great with Ryu and I'm still failing with Akuma -__-

    Same for me! :eek: I also had Nidoqueen and Butterfree and Wartortle and Pidgeotto as I exited Mt. Moon In the original GSC, Old Rod could catch stuff besides Magikarp. You think this remake will do the same? And Cyndaquil's getting very popular :eek: No love for the energetic crocodile or the spunky plant?
