    I know. It's only a theoretical thing. I might as well hack the game with this if it comes out EXACTLY the same as the original (level 9 Pidgeotto freshly caught from Viridian Forest is Falkner's father's ultimate Pokemon? Blue was right when he said Johto gyms were for wimps!)

    QFT (quoted for truth). The second rematch one, however, will have some changes in his team But I hope you don't mind how I changed Will and Koga... I replaced one Xatu with Alakazam and Ariados with Weezing... and shifted Koga's teams roster slightly.

    Come on people! 5 me vs 9 Typhlosions? Really? I must be a genius! On a serious note... I had no idea people thought Typhlosion is great in battles. This is an interesting study indeed. In reality, the two best starters in battles are Swampert and Infernape... but keep going! I'd like to see all your opinions!

    Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite, Kingdra >.> Need I say anything? Two Gyarados is weird... and his original roster in RBY had 2 Dragonairs and 1 Dragonite.

    Hello everyone. Thanks for your suggestions The problem with adding newer species is that it somewhat ruins the "remake" feelings. I don't think anyone wants Johto to be littered with Hoenn or Sinnoh Pokemon (other than evolutions of pre-existing Pokemon, but that's besides the point). I'm still debating whether it should be Piloswine or Mamoswine on Pryce's. Hmmm... nah. At this point, there is probably going to be a second batch of E4 and gym leaders, so if I make a thread regarding a second batch, they'll use new species then. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=880

    It's been like that since GSC. Besides, there's not much dragons in the Kanto/Johto area other than the Dratini family and Kingdra @_@

    Lucario and Vaporeon definitely got better sprites (Lucario's sprite in D/P was a bit awkward... and the calm looking Vaporeon in Platinum fits her more). There's also Froslass and Glaceon who got better. I do agree some Pokemon got weird looking sprites, like Gengar. Other than that, I like the addition of new Pokemon, and the realism added in Route 215 (back in D/P Ponytas and Geodudes were found in that route in abundance... now it's a bunch of Marills and Scythers! Check out that route yourself and see why it's so weird!)

    You can't get any more realistic than finding Geodudes and Ponytas in Route 215 in Sinnoh at D/P (don't know what that route is? You'll see what I mean :eek:)

    RBY and RSE take place at the same time. GSC and DPP take place 3 years after RBY and RSE... and occur at the same time.

    I voted mostly Johto Pokemon... because in Johto there are also Kanto Pokemon too. So I'd like it to be just Johto and Kanto until you beat the E4 for the first time. Of course, I don't know about Yanma, Piloswine, Aipom and Lickitung though. Those that DO evolve into something else via learning a move should be able to evolve before the E4. I don't want a Golbat evolving into a question mark again like in FR/LG.

    So what do you think guys? Is X-Scissor on Bugsy's Scyther a bit too strong? :-/ His signature move back then was Fury Cutter, so I'm wondering if I should replace it with that or not...

    What do you mean by system of wild Pokemon? I'm hoping they just increase the levels of some Pokemon in the wild. Encountering level 5 Pokemon in Ilex Forest was just embarrassing!

    Hm, yeah... you're right... but they overdid it in FR/LG! Only 150 Pokemon were allowed to be seen before the National Dex... and Golbat couldn't evolve into a Crobat! That's what turned me off... The E4 rematch in FR/LG had one of their Pokemon replaced with a foreign Pokemon. That I've seen X-Scissor might be too strong on Bugsy's Scyther. I might replace with the UBERW00TPWNAGE Fury Cutter!
