  1. Anti-virus and getting your computer hacked are two completely separate issues. Reign is right. Having four different antivirus programs can very easily backfire.
  2. There's not much to research in Gen 3 Wonder Cards because like, all of 3 or so events even used that. Doubt you'll be getting Wi-Fi for Gen 3. Besides the phys/spec split, Gen 4 functions the same way with battling. Don't know why you have anything against Gen 4 and 5, especially since the argument that the "old" Pokemon "had more sense" is pretty much bunk. Regardless, welcome to the forum. I'm doing a Curse-Body Slam Mudkip breeding project on Emerald right now. I sure do miss having a later gen Body Slam Move Tutor.
  3. This isn't the place to whine about missing an event. Typically all major events get international releases. Sometimes there's a delay. You can always load up the wondercard in your game from our event database. Any further discussion outside of the specific YOTD event eggs will be off topic and infracted.
  4. Pidove/Pansage/Axew and Zoroark w/ Snarl all had international distributions. There is a difference between an event not happening and you missing an event.
  5. You don't come quite out and say "ask me how to cheat in tournaments/random wifi" but its pretty close. So consider this a warning. Don't ask how to get around cheating in tournaments or whatnot. If you decide to cheat, you do it with the full knowledge you might possibly disqualify yourself from tournaments or any other type of organized event. If you don't want to risk getting banned from tournaments, then don't cheat.
  6. More self-promotion: I've added a few DW Pokes to my PokeCheck box of stuff. Within the next week or two, I'll finally make my way through the EntraLink Forest on my White cart and upload those as well within that same box.
  7. The other guy was an idiot. Bug Buzz on Scizor? Really?
  8. I think you need to have gotten to the point where after TR takes over the Goldenrod Radio Tower. So (if I remember correctly), after badge 7.
  9. While I have no problem leaving this thread open for the time being, this isn't a high traffic forum. 200+ people browsing the forums right now are unregistered, and I bet they're all just downloading stuff from the contribution forums for events. You're much more likely to find a battle at a higher trafficed forum, one with a dedicated battling section (rather than discussing battling), on Pokemon Online, or in a high traffic irc channel like #spp-wifi on purplesurge.net's server. I'd offer my services, but the Wi-Fi I'm using right now isn't compatible wiht a DS.
  10. Oh, that is just a random Marowak from Unova. My bad. I'll move it back to my normal captures folder.
  11. Oh good, then I won't feel bad about banning you since you just registered to be a dick.
  12. Here's my DW stuff on PokeCheck if anyone cares: http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=box&bid=12&u=rs555
  13. And your evidence is...?
  14. I was going to post mine here, Thuzle, but for whatever reason, the attachment feature wouldn't work for me. If there's an e-mail address I can contact you by, I'll send it to you via e-mail.
  15. http://www.pokegts.us
  16. If you're just wanting to create a single pokemon and send it to yourself, use www.pokegts.us If you want to download a Pokemon that's already made and ready, go to www.pokecheck.org. Or download a legit pkm file from PokeCheck or our event/pokemon database (projectpokemon.org/events) and use Pokesav or PokeGen to modify the pkm file then upload that to PokeGTS. We can't really help if there are problems with your modem or wireless router, which is on your end. Or with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, which is on Nintendo's hand.
  17. Help does not mean do it for me. You can make a request in this thread. Or you can request an AR code or PKM file for the specific Pokemon (and then use pokegts.us to self-send it) in this thread.
  18. This is just me speaking, but I think its really hard to get specific (or all) Pokemon from a DNS IP when it is both set to random distribution AND has dozens on each server. I think, optimally, 20 or so per DNS IP is best. That's partly why I've never connected to your server before, except briefly at the beginning. It is just intimidating, and I might get 1-2 things I want and 10 I don't. I have been getting the Pokemon you're distributing, but usually, I just download the pkm file from the PokeCheck links and use PokeGTS to send it to my cart, rather than connecting to your server. It's a bit lengthier of a process, but that way, I'm more likely to get what I want. As for events (and I don't see why not to distribute any event, personally), I think it makes the most sense to pretty much only distribute the newest and latest events, and then take them down after a month or so. And then put older events back up if anyone requests them. Any chance on some RNGed Haisty/Mild/Lonely ExtremeSpeed Pikachus?
  19. #2: It says "Hacked/event only".
  20. "Secretly likes Pokemon" If you're so damn mature, stop "secretly" liking stuff.
  21. Stickying this. This post is golden.
  22. Exactly. Events have to be manually updated to any legality checker. It's important to remember that legality checkers have their primary purpose of checking something that is unknown. If you physically attended the event yourself, then you already know if it's legal or not sooo......
  23. It works just fine. The point of anti-virus software is to point out suspicious files. If you know where it came from, who cares what the name of it is.
  24. If you're using a regular DS, make sure to SAVE the settings. (In other words, carefully follow directions)
