I just told you why your Pokemon is failing. You made a LEGENDARY POKEMON as if it HATCHED FROM AN EGG. I have no knowledge of any other legality checkers for Gen 5, but I'm sure they exist. I just used Pokecheck's because that was what is available to me. Feel free to use something else if you'd like.

You don't need an AR or Pokegen to do any of that. Just use a second DS or, lacking that, Pokecheck. A vague statement asserting a generality without a source. The general rule is that you want to emphasize what a Pokemon is good at and hinder what a Pokemon sucks at. But there are times when investment in less-than-stellar stats is called for. I'm not going to say that they're exceptions, but they are the minority of sets. Really its a case by case basis. You'll never be using Blissey's ATK stat so when in doubt, always lower that stat. But while Tyranitar's speed sucks, there are several Tyranitar sets over various generations that use speed EVs and might even run a +Speed nature, if only to outrun other Tyranitars of the same set.

Pokesav isn't "lagging". It is literally not being developed or supported. All indications point to Pokesav BW being discovered by accident since it was never officially posted by COM, but someone luckyily found the link on his site somehow. Anyone else is free to make their own PKMN generation program. Then don't pay for it. That has already happened. Let's go over this again. Pokesav isn't being developed anymore. PokeGen is.

All you're doing is playing the main 8 gyms+e4. You don't need the Internets help for that.

The one in my post is the latest one v0.20.002. I have no idea what is uploaded at the DRF link. That's just the "official" hosting.

I've had some problems with the program in the past, but had absolutely no problems with the latest version. Are you certain you're using the latest version? See my linked post in the OP, or the direct link in the OP for it.

That is a known bug in the program. There's a couple Pokemon in the Sparkling Sea that'll cause a crash. Just restart the program and boot it back up. Is that too much to ask? Consider the alternative is going through all the DW Island of Dreams stuff manually. If you're tucking in a Water type Pokemon, you're more likely to go to Sparking Sea. So try tucking in...I dunno a Bug type or something. The other option, I would imagine, is to completely whipe the history of your browser and cookies and try it all again.

The program isn't sending you anywhere. All the program is doing is exploring the regions you'd get sent to anyway, playing the same games you'd be offered, etc... but doing it far more quickly.

This specific thread is not a "how do i use PokeGen" thread. Nor is this specific thread "why am i making crappy hacks". This is specifically to point out flaws in PokeCheck's legality analysis.

If you want a legit Eevee, go get it. You can't make a legit Pokemon from a computer program.

I've used it on both BW islands today and B2 islands today. It works just fine. Still does that crash on certain Pokemon found in, I think, Sparking Sea. Does anyone know what # is associated with which berries. I know 7 is Oran, and I think1 is Cheri...so what are 2,3, 4, etc...is it just the numerical order for the berries when you sort them by type?

I know I'm pretty much behind the times when it comes to PokeGen and all and I know there's a separate program to edit and do stuff with WonderCards, but maybe a premium feature of PokeGen could be integrating WonderCard support so as to keep it all within one program?

I am totally in favor of this. You would think that there'd be more than one Pokemon editing program at any one time, but it doesn't seem to happen. PokeSav was around for Gen 4 and faded away by the end and PokeGen has been uncontested for Gen 5. I personally am not a fan of PayPal but I understand it is the most convient method of payment for most people soo....

It works regardless of the game. There is no "BW1 version" or "BW2 version". The new version of DW.exe just fixes a few flaws the old one had.

I'll upload the exe when I get home. I'll also try to contact the lugia.us people to see if they're aware of the problem. I only have access to the latest version, which to the best of my knowledge, works regardless of versions being used.

People generally critique teams based on quality. Being unique for the sake of being unique is just as dumb as mindlessly copying and pasting a team someone else is using. We cater to game research and development, a particular narrow, niche interest. Obviously more general interest forums are going to have thousands of members with way more activity.
